[NEXUS]Hyuga Demi-Plane IV: Welcome to the Jungle

[Volug]

This is a Demi-plane created by Sato Hyuga for his family. His family is a race of wolf/human-ish creatures. Wolves that have the power to adopt human looking forms (A Race called "Gray", see homebrew link in signature).

The Demi-plane has been sealed off to dis-allow anyone from coming in, period. However, anyone who has interest in RPing is this thread is more then welcome to make a Gray/Wolf character. If you are shy or nervous you can PM me (or anyone else who RPs here frequently and doesn't mind a PM), but feel free to just pop up, we'll try to make you feel welcome.

The oldest generation has pretty much died or is dying out by now. The generation of wolves who have been raised here their whole life will now soon become the oldest generation.

Their city/village is called Wep'keer and is mostly made into the side of a mountain, bridges leading to higher levels/houses/caves, and it dose have a ground level which is accessed by a path through the mountains.


Again, anyone is welcome here, while it may restrict character options, it's quite family based, as it is a growing civilization. This thread may eventually evolve, and have a timeline that will take place thousands of years after the others.

Oki is just outside his home, he's taken up some carving and woodwork. He just started on a fresh log, not clear what he plans to make as of yet.

Oki goes into his house.

Oki will see a figure leaning against the kitchen door frame. It's shaking. It's.... It's Erica!

Oki will quickly rush over to her, to support her and help her stand.

Sweetie... Erica...

Trisha... She was a princess in her young years. She's grown hatefull in her teens however, somewhat like younger Erica, Emo =P But not quite as bad.

She goes into a coughing spasm n

He runs to find her.

She's in her room, looking grouchy... Her wrists are bleeding slightly.

She's been grounded recently from talking back to Oki.

Gin had a sucky childhood. Bullied constantly. He almost killed another child on one occasion. In his teens he spent more time around the house. Doing work.

Trisha will quickly rush to Erica to give her a hug,a lready crying. Trisha has already pictured Erica to be the perfect mother, the best women in the village... All in her head.

Erica cries, hugging back.

She sobs again, Erica may notice the blood from Trisha's wrists now....

Gin had a hard time fitting in when he was young, but he has a better time here now that others have matured to his level.

Trisha was the sweetest girl I've ever seen her age when she was young, I'm sorry you missed it. Now... I'm sorry to say I'm not sure what to do to help her.

Now the book isn't educational, it's fantasy, she has a largish imagination, she's okay smart (which is more then normal here as education isn't terribly critical).

I don't think Quinton can do much aside from voice his opinion here. Yes, it's the fact he's human. I don't hate him for being one, none of us should, but he can't do the things we can, as of now anyways. He was born to wolf parents... He can't be all human.

He may change over time, mother was human until sometime in her early human adult human years... If I remember correctly.

Should we just voice who we think should be pack leader now so we can see where we stand?

So I know that I can trust you and only you to share this letter with everyone as opposed to keeping it a secret. It is sad that I can't trust the others, but I know they won't like what they'll will read, and thus will not share it.

I have one wish, and that is to see my dear Quinton become pack leader when I die. As young as he is. You and the others can reject this as you see fit, but I ask you all, you haven't ever doubted my wisdom before, so why do it now?

Hopper will read it aloud.

Oki shakes his head, or almost does, but stops.

... I'm fine with letting him. If things don't go well, and Genkai is wrong, we need to get another leader.

Even in this peace and calm there are still responsibilities, caring for everyone in the village, organizing hunting teams, food supplies, I'd rather not go on. He also may need to know diplomacy in case something does arise.

Which may happen, a cat person with bird wings showed up on my front step the other day.

Some NPCs agree, a few don't, a handfull yell the fact that Quinton is still human and is not a wolf, and can't lead because of this (even him living here is stretching it in their eyes). Only a handfull though, some see the point that he is Kiba and Genkai's son, and isn't a stranger.

It's random colors at first. Strange patterns... But things will start to stand out to Janna. First the colors seem to form an image of a fox, being pinned down by a much larger hellhound. Then she'll see an artist, doing her craft in a cave, if she continues to look, the colors seem to form a fox woman, kissing a very handsome man, then to the same fox woman holding a baby girl... Then the waterfall, then the fox woman laying dead among the forest and the stones... It will be one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful piece of art Janna wold have ever looked at, and Nelle seems to infused it with her very soul as she was making it...

Oki runs to the edge and looks down...

Hm... Quick plot maybe once Nellie is dead?
Plot as in: Once she's dead, Nellie may feel something try to lash and "chain" her soul in place, rooting it to the earth. The presence of Nellie's former Mistress, and her laughter will be here.
