Zimbraw takes a seat in the corner, and motions to Leona. He orders something, and she goes off to prepare a hookah for him.

Zimbraw looks up from his hookah. Ah. my apologies. please, let me take care of that. He gets to his feet, and makes his way over to ER.

"So what was that thing in the portal after you?"

Zimbraw casually opens up a series of tiny portals underneath the blood, and water bubbles up from them.

I am not certain. I've been to that place many times before - I had friends there about twenty years ago. - The monsters were everywhere. The entire place was almost deserted, apart from them. He shakes his head slightly, then looks down at his feet, which are slowly being covered in water. He waves his hand again, and the original portals close.

A series of even smaller portals opens in their place, and the water drains away, leaving the floor clean.

Zimbraw indicates the hookah he had abandoned earlier. A top-up would be nice. He smiles an unseen smile, and returns to his seat.

Zimbraw chuckles softly. There are times, like today, when I would prefer bar-work to suffering the regular backstabbing, being buried alive, chased by wild animals, and being sentenced to death that takes up a lot of my time He says, breathing out a mouthful of smoke.

Dreadfully sorry, I'm due to meet someone in another world in about ten minutes, I must take my leave. He stands, and opens up a portal into a forest clearing, where a small group of heavily armoured figures is sitting around a campfire.A gentle breeze blows a few leaves through into the room.

Zimbraw bows to ER, and steps through. Many thanks again for your assistance earlier, and the same to our friend over there, when he wakes. He nods in Lyrak's direction, then waves at the portal, which closes.

Arha walks in with a swish of her skirts, she goes over to her usual spot and settles down on the cushions. She casually looks around and waves to Eloquent Rune and smirks as she sees Lyrak.

Leona comes out and Arha orders her usual. She leans back on the cushions to wait.

ER asks Leona as she passes by to go get him one of the nice bottles of Sapphire Merlot in the back

Leona brings out the Sapphire Merlot for Eloquent Rune and brings Arha's dinner over. Arha cuts the steak into small bites and starts spearing pieces and slowly putting them one at a time in her mouth, taking them off the fork with her teeth.

ER peers over at Arha and sips his wine.

He pulls out a dagger that matches the one he once gave Arha and places it on the table next to him.

Arha slowly smiles at Eloquent Rune "That dagger has been very useful."

With a straight face says

"I dont doubt that"

and then sips some more wine.

Arha just smiles and slowly eats more silver dragon steak.

ER sits back and begins to smoke again. Smoky black dragons form from the smoke rings and fly around the room.

Arha watches and arranges herself comfortably on the cushions, her skirt draped to reveal her legs as she eats and watches the dragons.

ER tries to keep his eyes up and begins to relax with his smoking and wine

Arha watches the entertainment as she finishes her steak.

Kyrian enters, nursing a wound.

Arha pats the cushion next to her as Kyrian enters

Kyrian takes a seat and tears off a piece of his shirt, and ties it around the wound.

Arha smiles at Kyrian, "What happened to you, my pet." as she runs one hand down his wounded arm.

The door to Hank's blows up, the cold night air sending a chill through the establishment. The smoke rushes towards the door, where Indurain stands.

"Thank goodness for those Endure Elements potions I've got." He says, as he steps into the tavern, the door swinging shut behind him.

Indurain looks around.

"Evening everyone."

His eyes spot Arha and Kyrian and he smirks. He raises his eyebrows once quickly at Arha (when Kyrian isn't looking of course) and heads to the bar.

Kyrian gives a small growl, Demon thought he could challenge me...so I proved him wrong.

ER stands and walks over to the bar.

to Indurian How are you this evening?

Arha briefly smiles at Indurain as he enters and turns back to Kyrian, "The demon is dead?" She conveniently rearranges her skirts to show her legs to both Indurain and Kyrian.

Kyrian runs a hand up Arha's leg. It barely stood a chance

[Indurain]

"Quite well, Mr. Rune. Yourself?" Indurain asks, though his attention is obviously pulled in the direction of Arha's leg.

[Renegade Paladin]

A hooded figure walked in the front door and looked around at the patrons. He didn't see Traven, but another pair caught his eye all too plainly. Kyrian had just walked in before him, and sure enough, there was Arha. They didn't seem to be killing anyone at the moment, so he went over to the nearest employee.

"I'm looking for Traven," he said flatly. "Do you know where I can find him?"

Arha smiles wickedly at Kyrian, "Good, one less demon to worry about." She watches Indurain from the corner of her eye.

ER says as he trys not to look in the direction of Arha.

Kyrian returns the smile, noting who she watches from the corner of her eye. He slowly slides his hand farther up her leg, and the small black strip appears to cover his hand once again.

Lyrak stirs in his sleep. ((Check your PMs, Arha))

"Indeed. Unfortunately the life of an emperor doesn't let me get out as much as I'd like."

Indurain inhales sharply as the wind blows Arha's skirt up even more when Renegade walks in.

"Not nearly as much as I'd like."

Arha looks over at Indurain and slowly licks her full lips. Turning back to Kyrian she says "I find I'm a bit thirsty."

And what would you like to drink? He summons a Black Shadow, just in case, and offers it to her.

ER goes back to his seat and starts drinking his wine faster than before.

"My pet, you know my tastes so perfectly," as she takes the drink, running her other hand up his chest.

Lyrak wakes up, looks around, sees Kyrian and Arha, and pales. He sits up and begins manifesting protective powers. Lord Iames? Kyrian and Arha are in Hookah Hank's.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian grins as his hand slowly slides up even farther, and he gives her neck a kiss.

[Indurain]

Indurain does whatever he can to turn his attention away from Arha and her not-so-innocent licking and touching. He's quite pleased to see Leona standing in front of him.

"What can I get you, Empy?"

"I'm feeling up for something comforting...innocent. How about some cinnamon?"

"You got it, gimme a sec handsome?"

Indurain smiles, and tries to keep looking away from Arha, but his eyes continue to wander every once in a while.

Arha smiles and tilts her head back. She notices Lyrak's movement and smirks at him. She takes the drink and holds it above her mouth, trickling the black shadow onto her tongue.

ER calls Leona over when his bottle empties.
"Could you please bring me another bottle, please. I need some more tonight"

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris gets a negative answer from Leona and shrugs. Still keeping his hood up, he moves to sit beside Lyrak. "Is this seat taken," he asks in a low voice.

[Indurain]

Indurain's jaw falls slack as he watches Arha.

"Ahem."

Barely able to turn away, Indurain sees Leona has prepared his hookah for him.

"Sometimes I wish she'd leave some men for us." Leona says, before bringing ER another drink.

"Thank you Leona I will probably need a few more bottles before the night is done."

ER pulls out a Three-Dragon Ante deck and starts thumbing the cards

Arha moves the glass a bit further down and trickles liquid on the hollow of her throat. The liquid runs down either side of her neck and down the front of her dress.

Kyrian grins as he leans forward, and begins to lick the drink off of her, starting with the top of her dress.

[Indurain]

"Oh my word." Indurain says, spitting out a breath of smoke from the hookah.

Now he can't take his eyes of Arha. He mutters under his breath.

"That should be illegal."

Not at all, Lyrak responds, casting protection from evil after finishing with his inertial armor, force screen, and precognition.

ER looks over at Arha and then softly closes his eyes and takes a large drink of wine.

After Kyrian leans over to lick the drink up, she gives Indurain a promising look.

Iames is getting ready to come here...and I think he's bringing his whores. Looks like this could be some party.. Kyrian grins at Arha, his eyes beginning to turn pitch black.

Indurain looks back at Arha, a look of confusion on his face. He watches Kyrian with interest and then returns back to see Arha once again looking at him. A smile dances across his mouth, but is gone just as fast.

"Oh please...spare me." Leona mutters from behind Indurain.

Not at all, Lyrak responds, casting protection from evil after finishing with his inertial armor, force screen, and precognition.
"I understand we have a mutual concern here," he said in a low voice. He wouldn't whisper; whispers attract attention where quiet conversation does not. "I'm sure being murdered isn't any fun." He was deliberately avoiding looking at Arha and Kyrian.

Arha smiles at him "Oh really, this should be interesting."

ER places his dagger back in his robe, and then sets down the wine bottle.

Kyrian wasn't doing anything to conceal his voice, and Gaheris had sharp ears. "Get ready," he said tersely to Lyrak as he surreptitiously loosened his blades in their sheathes.

Kyrian mocks a yawn. Iames and those whores take forever.

[Indurain]

Indurain turns back to Leona for a second.

"You know...I'm sure you're just as able to attract attention, if you were willing to do...um...well...what she does."

"Oh please...I have some self-respect...thank you."

"Exactly. Feel better?"

A quizzical looks comes over Leona's face, before there is a moment of understand.

"I...you know...actually...I do."

Indurain smiles and then turns back to Arha and Kyrian.

"His eyes...I've seen that before...there's going to be trouble Leona."

Iames, Aerin, and Vera appear in Hookah Hank's. Aerin moves to the door, while Iames psionically reaches out and undoes the block on El Rune's mind, then blocks off all interdimensional travel, including teleportation, in Hank's. Kyrian, Arha, both of you are under arrest. You have this chance to come quietly. Otherwise, we are authorized to use force to compel you.

Vera, if you don't feel you can fight, tell me. I thought it was just your sword in particular, but...

Gaheris turns around in his chair to look, as any other unsuspecting customer would do.

Hawkeye slips quietly in and watches what is going to go on with Kyrian and Iames

Verdandi walks over to the exit and raises Aerin's sword. A little light begins to shine from her and she readies herself to prevent anyone from leaving.

"Arrest? What did she do?...I mean...they...what did they do?"

ER's runic tattoos begin to glow from the renewed energies.

Iames frowns. I see. So much for being a man of your word. He manifests two ectoplasmic cocoons on Arha and draws his FN Five-seveN.

To Indurain: They are responsible for a series of murders, including that of my own cleric. Additional charges include indecent public displays of affection.

Lyrak leaps to his feet and prepares to do whatever he can to help.

Kyrian dispells both cocoons.

Arha's hand disappears into Kyrian and the rest of her follows.

Verdandi begins chanting softly to herself.

Gaheris leaps to his feet, cursing Arha's strange powers of the blood. He pulled a small iron sphere out of his cloak and threw it violently at Kyrian, muttering an indistinct command word as he did so. The bands crisscrossing the ball whipped outwards, expanding into a whirling form about eight feet in diameter, closing in to entrap Kyrian.

Aerin, I can't hold the Dark back any longer. Make sure I don't do too much damage. Iames's eyes go yellow. Well done, Kyrian. Iames unpins the police badge from his cloak and drops it to the floor. But let's see how you deal with THIS! He hits the wall of force with a psionic disintegrate, then aims a second one at Kyrian.

Aerin closes her eyes, then opens them. I understand.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian draws a six shooter, and shoots at the incoming object, sending it slightly off its path, and it passes directly in front of him. He manifests a null psionics field.

Verdandi watches the battle, but makes no move to join it. She continues her quiet chant.

From behind Kyrain ER throws his mind blade powered with truevenom at him

Ah. Still better. Iames fires four shots from his FN Five-seveN at Kyrian.

[Indurain]

Leona shrieks and ducks behind the bar counter.

"Well...I guess I should do what I do best." Indurain says to himself as he watches the epic battle unfold.

With that he jumps behind the bar, and puts his arms around Leona.

"It'll be okay...I promise. Indy's here now."

Bright Edge appeared in Gaheris' hand as he whipped out the holy sword in the blink of an eye. He was already tumbling across the table, and threw a nearby hookah at Kyrian as he rolled to his feet, the burning coals and tobacco starting to spill out as it flew through the air.

Kyrian takes one bullet in his shoulder, and dodges the others. ((Renegade: It does when I'm throwing my storyline card to Trump these events. Iames and I had an agreement, spoken over AIM that Kyr would come willingly after their business was completed. it hasn't been, and Iames pulls this))

Verdandi's voice grows somewhat louder, and light begins to shine around her. She raises her free hand to start sketching runes in the air.

Aerin's eyes glow silver, and a sphere of silver fire (ignores fire resistance and is good-aligned) appears surrounding Kyrian. ((Energy ball))

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head "Why are you fighting Kyrian? He hasn't done anything threatening thus far?"

Gaheris brought his shield up into guard position and started to edge around Kyrian, seeming to look for an opening.

Verdandi finishes inscribing glowing runes in the air around her, and her chant seems to head towards its climax.

Leona huddles close around Indurain.

The sword slams into Kyrian's side. He pulls it out and tosses it at his feet. ((Iames, I used null psionics field earlier))

Verdandi finishes her chant and the runes glow and mesh, then cover the doorway in a solid, bright white sheet. She hesitates and holds up her sword again.

"Give me a second my dear." Indurain says, pulling away from Leona. He cautiosly pokes his head over the counter.

"This isn't a fair fight at all. I wonder if I should help Kyrian?" Just then a bullet whizes by his head. Indurain quickly grabs his hookah of the bar and retreats back to where Leona is sitting.

"I'm sure he'll be fine."

Kyrian uses his six shooter to turn the blade aside.

The dagger speeds towards Kyrain's heart

Gaheris grins and snaps his fingers. He vanishes, only to appear instantaneously behind Kyrian, across from Verdandi. His eyes and blade glow white as he puts all of his might behind the series of blows aimed at Kyrian's vitals.

[Knight's move, followed by a full attack, the first of which is smite evil, and all of which qualify for sneak attack.]

Verdandi turns her slash into a thrust instead, slipping her sword around the gun.

With the flick of his wrist, the other dagger is in Kyrian's hand. He tosses it at his feet, drawing the incoming dagger away from him. He throws up a third, fourth, all the way through twentyith null psionics field.

Iames dismisses Kyrian's new null field and sends a psionic disintegrate at Kyrian, and then fires four more shots. Then he uses his remaining std action ((I <3 schism)) to fire another psionic disintegrate.

Hawkeye glares at Iames and Vera "I thought you called yourselves police officers? Why the SHOCK are you attacking Kyrian when he hasn't made any SHOCKING attacking moves against you? You're an absoloute disgrace! You're just hiding behind your badge and using it as an excuse to attack someone!"

[Renegade Paladin]

Gaheris' player rolls his eyes as Gaheris himself continues to apply his sword to Kyrian's kidneys.

Verdandi pulls away from the fight and glares at Hawkeye. This man is wanted for the death of over 30 people. We have reason for what we are doing.

Police? Iames the Dark smiles.

Aerin says, Kyrian is responsible for several murders, and we are attempting to arrest him. He is resisting. We are justified in our use of force. She looks at Iames. Some of it.

Kyrian cries out at Gaheris' attack, and pulls the sword out, healing the wounds, which causes him to duck under Iames's attack.

The door opens, and El Jaspero and Alarra enter the hookah bar. El J lets go of Alarra's hand and walks directly towards Kyrian, ignoring the fray around him.

"Probably a bit of both Leona...probably a bit of both." Indurain lets out a deep sigh.

Verdandi springs back to attack Kyrian.

Alarra looks at the fray a bit dismayed and casts a protective shield around both Kyrian and El Jaspero.

Kyrian accepts all the blows, but stands his ground.

Aerin shouts out, Iames! Don't let the Dark rule you!

Iames's eyes go from yellow to purple. Without turning away from Kyrian, he replies, Thank you Aerin. Hawkeye, you are right. The Dark has been suppressed for so long, my frustration brought me out. Iames manifests ectoplasmic cocoon on Kyrian.

Gaheris' eyes went wide as he jumped and twisted in midair, the pale green beam missing him by scant inches and burning a hole in the wall behind him. He fluidly recovered his balance and called out. "In the name of Tyr, throw down your weapons and surrender," he thundered. "Justice will be served."

[Kyrian]

Kyrian dismisses the cocoon.

Verdandi attacks Kyrian repeatedly, trying to distract him so that Iames can capture him.

El J stops at the edge of whatever. He stands calmly, his arms crossed.

Jas, I'd love to talk, but this....woman seems to be intent on this...

He motions to Vera, and takes a hit on his forearm.

Ah, forget it, she'll keep it up anyways. So, how can I help you Jas?

He makes his save.

"Cap'n," shouts Gaheris by way of greeting as he sidesteps to keep Kyrian between him and Verdandi. He reversed his grip and brought the pommel of the sword around towards the back of Kyrian's head, hoping to render him unconscious. Perhaps he really was fighting a god after all...

[Indurain]

Indurain peeks over the bar.

"Ah...I think it's over....I think."

Leona pops over the bar and surveys the destruction.

"Oh gods...I told Virus I'd be fine alone tonight...he trusted me...now look at this place...what am I going to do now Indy?"

Leona buries her face in Indurain's shoulder sobbing.

ER steps back and grafts the weapon to his arm and continues attacking to distract Kyrian

El J nods sadly.

"You don't have to do this. You have a choice."

Iames manifests crystallize again. twice.

I have only been sitting here, trying to protect myself from these attackers. I only wanted a somewhat quiet evening, not this. And why is it you suddenly care.....you told me...

Kyrian makes the save again, twice. (Iames, please calm down.)

Seeing that the sword is doing next to nothing, Verdandi steps back and starts another chant.

Lyrak casts create water over the spilled hookah.

[Indurain]

Indurain helps Leona to her feet.

"Hey Alarra...Jas. Looks like you arrived just in time."

[Alarra]

"What is going on here? Stop this. All of you."

Iames lowers his FN Five-seveN and puts it back wherever it came from.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

The Pirate King shrugs.

"I had a dream."

[AmberVael]

Verdandi continues her chant. It seems far more elaborate than the last one.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head and walks out

[Kyrian]

Kyrian raises an eyebrow. And...?

ER backs off some but still has his energies up

This wasn't helping. Gaheris tumbled away from Kyrian, under the table behind him. He retrieved his iron bands of Bilarro on the way and rolled to his feet.

[Indurain]

Indurain and Leona come out from behind the bar and head over to Alarra.

"I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but they said that Kyrian is wanted for murder, then the fight broke out...big time."

Leona continues to sob into Indurain's shoulder, occasionally a word can be made out.

"*sob*....fired...*sob*....kill me....*sob*....wanton destruction...*sob*"

Verdandi continues chanting, a little light beginning to shine from her again.

ER retrieves his dagger but leaves Arha's behind

"And...and I think I need to help you."

Alarra gives Leona a comforting smile, "Don't worry, we'll put everything to rights."

Virus finaly hears the commotion and comes out from the back...


"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!"

Virus looks dangerously mad.

Why's that?

Kyrian picks Arha's dagger up and pockets it.

[Indurain]

"Thanks Alarra." Leona says, the sobbing coming under control, until Virus bursts through the back door. Leona tries to speak, but can't say anything. She just stares at her boss, tears welling in her eyes.

Indurain watches the interaction between Jas and Kyrian with interest.

Verdandi's voice grows louder, and her eyes seem oddly unfocused.

He was toying with them. He'd been operating entirely on the defensive since the fight started. Gaheris snorted. Well, if he thought that was going to help him after going on multiple killing sprees, he was mistaken.

Iames looks at Virus. Sorry. An arrest got a bit out of hand.

El J shakes his head.

"I don't know. But I need to help you, and you need my help."

Hey, haven't seen you in a while boss. There is a small brawl here if you haven't heard it through the walls

ER strikes at Kyrian with a heavy blow.

[Kyrian]

You keep saying I need help, why do you think that?

Virus turns to Rune

"Well.. lets end this...."


Virus ports behind kyrian and reaches out a huge hand to try to connect with kyrian and control his mind.

ER backs off and runs over to Virus.

Verdandi's form and eyes begin to glow brighter as she continues her chant, no longer seeing the world around her.

[Alarra]

Sensing the immediate danger passing, Alarra sets about righting destroyed furnishings.

"Look around, Kyrian. I've told you before, any number of times, even back when I was a saint. This isn't who you are."

[Kyrian]

Kyrian saves against Virus' attempt.

I'd appreciate it if you didn't do that.

He turns back to El Jaspero, and for a moment, the Pirate King can see Kyrian, the true, somewhat childish Kyrian that was always there to protect the people he loved. But as quick as the moment came, it is gone.

I used to be a Dark Saiyan....maybe I never was able to change that....

[Indurain]

Indurain looks at Virus shocked...

"You're looking at me, as if this is my fault. Why does everyone blame the naked guy?"

Indurain looks over at Iames and Kyrian. "Why don't you ask them?"

ER jumps back into battle and summons another mind blade to attack Kyrian full out.

Following his boss's orders.

Virus attempts to exert another aspect of his power against Kyrian.
Focus intently he begins to cause time to slow around Kyrian.


he shouts to the others....

"When he slows down grab him!!!"

Verdandi's body begins to tremble from the sheer amount of energy she is absorbing into herself.

[El Jaspero, the Pirate King]

El J shakes his head.

"Maybe so. But you were something else before that, something better. That is who you are."

[Alarra]

Alarra sighs. "Is this all necessary?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian again saves against the mortal's attempt. I do believe that Alarra requested you to stop fighting, and seeing as how I STILL have yet to attack, back off.

Again he turns back to Jas, and hopes that Virus understands that Kyrian = a god.

Who knows...

[Indurain]

"Virus...he didn't do anything. He was just defending himself." Leona says to Virus, showing a rare display of courage in the face of her boss.

Indurain nods in agreement.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin sees Vera trembling. Iames!

Iames turns and sees. Everybody down! He steps toward Vera. Vera, what are you doing?

[Renegade Paladin]

"The hells he was, the man's been murdering dozens of people over the past week," growled Gaheris through clenched teeth.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi does not hear Iames, and continues her chant. Sweat is rolling down her face, and her knuckles are white as they clench Aerin's sword.

[Alarra]

Alarra recasts her protective shield around El J and Kyrian.

[Indurain]

Indurain sighs and helps Alarra pick up furniture.

Leona tries to clean up all the broken glass.

Virus realises that he had acted rather quickly for the situation and walks back over to indurian....

"where is sakura?"

Gaheris tossed his iron bands to himself as he warily watched the standoff, ready to resume the fray if something went sour.

"Who knows? I do."

[Kyrian]

And so how do you plan on helping me?

((She is going to try and cut Kyrian off from his power. Verdandi does not have the strength to do it though.))
Verdandi is visibly shaking, and her eyes are a blank, shining white.

Vera... Iames is fighting an internal battle.

"Sak...who?" Indurain looks confused as he tries to get a half-charred chair to stand up...it keeps falling over though since it only has one leg left.

"I'm going to help you by reminding you that you have a choice, Kyrian. You can be the man you were, the man you still are. I'm sorry if I made you think I'd given up on you. I hope you can forgive me some day."

[AmberVael]

The air around Verdandi grows warm, and the light is almost too intense to look at, but she still continues chanting.

Iames comes to a decision. I'm sorry, Vera. He slaps her across the face, hard.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian's eyes show who he used to be, for another split moment. He looks down at the floor, and barely whispers.

Ceika...what have I done....

"Yes Sakura.... my panderan chef?"

El J reaches out to touch Kyrian's shoulder.

"Kyrian. You are stronger."

Verdandi suddenly comes to, but loses control of the energy she summoned as she does. Her eyes go wide and her mouth opens with shock as it rushes into her. She collapses instantly, the glow vanishing and seeping into her skin.

[Kyrian]

First Phoenix....now Ceika....my father must be glad to be rid of me...

[Lord Iames Osari]

Vera! Iames catches her in his arms and tries to sense how much life energy is in her. ((too much, too little?))

[Indurain]

"Oh...the angry panda lady. She's...oh my." Indurain trails off as his finger points to a corner where Sakura lays under a broken table.

Indurain rushes over to the table and lifts it off the panda.
