So whats yer story?

"Well, might as well start with the doozy part first...I'm from the future. And I kid not about that."

[AmberVael]

Vivian leans back against the cushions.
Well thats a thinker. Hows that work?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, I also used to be evil, but a friend of mine changed that. As for how does the time travel work, I'm not really sure. I just know that this isn't the same Town I'd last seen."

[AmberVael]

Vivian shakes her head.
An' I thought my life was complicated sometimes.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy gives a small smile. "Yea a complicated life it was, is. I was banished to another realm at one point in my life. Next thing I knew, I was back here, only it's not the same here I'd been banished from."

[AmberVael]

Vivian eats her steak, still shaking her head.

[Dark Saiyans]

"What?" Remy finishes his steak.

[AmberVael]

Jest seems odd t'think that somethin' like that could happen.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Sorry, mon cheri, I know it's a lot...but it's the truth."

[AmberVael]

Vivian chuckles.
I don't think you'd make somethin' like that up. Why wouldja?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Good point." Remy drinks some more of the wine.

[AmberVael]

Vivian pours a glass for herself and sips it, looking at Remy over her wine.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy looks around, a little confused. "Yes, mon cheri?"

[AmberVael]

Jest thinkin', Remy.
Vivian smiles and puts her attention on her wine.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, platinum for your thoughts?"

[AmberVael]

My thoughts aren't fer sale. Their priceless, see.
Vivian drinks her wine with a twinkle in her eye.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy smiles and takes another drink of his wine.

[AmberVael]

Vivian puts her wine down and smiles back at him.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy scoots over, towards Vivian, just a little. he tries to make it seem like he doesn't know he did it.

[AmberVael]

Vivian chuckles at him and leans back onto the cushions, and out of his reach.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy tries to make a somewhat hurt face as he is leans back and drinks some more wine. He has a hard time not smiling at her, and gives up, instaed giving her a smile.

[AmberVael]

Vivian just grins and sips her own wine.
Don' try too hard, Remy.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Don't try too hard? Well, how'd you sugggest I try then?" Remy winks.

[AmberVael]

Jus' bide your time. Play your cards right, if you got the right ones.
She puts down her near empty wine glass.
Now I think we better call this a night.

[Dark Saiyans]

"I'm sure I can try that." Remy leaves payment on the table, and stands. He stretches quickly, before offering to help Vivian up.

[AmberVael]

Vivian takes the offered help, coming lightly to her feet. She shrugs her sword into place and puts her hand on his arm.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy smiles at her as he leads her over to the door, once again holding it open for her.

[AmberVael]

Vivian winks at him as she goes out the door.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy shakes his head and chuckles as he follows her out.

[Ryohoshi]

After finishing off his last ciggarette, Angelus gets up and leaves.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames comes in and looks around, Vera on his arm. Leona comes out of the back. "Can I get you two anything?"

Iames smiles. Oh, no, we're on patrol.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi nods and smiles in agreement. It does look peaceful tonight though.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Leona nods. "It has been. There's nothing the police need to get involved in."

Well, that's good.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi smiles at Iames. Next place then?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames nods. Alarra's Gems. Have a nice night, Leona. Iames leaves.

Verdandi goes out with Iames.

ER walks in and goes to his regular table in the back to watch over the bar.

Virus comes out of the back..... and looks for Rune....

"yeah... I am putting Hanks up for sale.... are you interested?"

Virus pulls out a contract.

ER walks to his room in the back and comes back a minute later with 3 good sized bags of gold and another small bag.

ER takes the document from Virus and gives it a good look over finding nothing wrong with it he manifests a pen and signs the document.

No I want Sakura to stay. Her cooking is amazing and its nice to have her around. And I wouldn't get rid of any of the others. So where do you think you are going to go next?

Virus smiles..... pats ER on the back and walks out the door....

A figure wrapped in a hooded black cloak appears in a flash of purple light, and looks around, before lowering the hood, revealing a middle aged man with a scarred face, and naturallypale-green shaggy hair. He continues to take in the room.

His eyes widen when he notices Val's large, glowing book still sitting where he left it. A Greedy look crosses his face, and he grins evily, practically diving at the book. This... I can't believe it... and he just left it here?

He picks it up, and loose pages fall from the back. He ignores those, and turns several pages, eventually stopping on a particular page, and reading with interest, unaware of anything going on around him.

After a time, he closes the book, and puts it down. As he stands, a miniature replica of the book materialises in his hand. He mutters something under his breath, and vanishes again.

ER quietly sits and thinks about his new position as owner of Hookah Hank's

Angelus walks in to Hookah Hank's, Excuse me, I'm looking for the owner.

Remy enters and orders two steaks, to go. He sits down and waits.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus sighs and leaves the bar.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy pays when the food arrives, and leaves.

[Veg Sorbet]

Val appears near the book in a flash of green light, and swears when he notices that it has been moved. He bends down and collects the paper that fell out, and places it back inside the cover again. Well, whilst I'm here... He calls Leona over and places an order, then takes seat to wait.[hr]the order arrives, and Val sits there, contemplating various things whilst smoking and drinking, occasionally remembering that he also ordered a steak.

He stares at the book for a while, his mind now running over his time spent in the town. I can't believe that it may soon be over... why is it that part of me wants to stay here? he sighs, and takes a mouthful of smoke.

He jumps suddenly as a voice from behind him says Hey there. you seem rather down. Val smiles. How long have you been there, Anna? Anna, still resembling the ghost of a grey-furred werefox shrugs. Couple of minutes. She waves a hand, and a strange ghostly chair appears, which she sits in. Val raises an eyebrow. Anna shrugs again It seems I've picked up more than just the appearance of a... what was it Master Jureik called it? "spirit morphing" dreadful name. Val replies. Anna laughs, and creates a wine glass made if the same material as her chair.

She says something to Val in Kroizian, and he promptly fills her glass. They stay up the entire night, talking, mostly in Kroizian. Val orders several refills of wine, and gets through half of the hookah menu as they discuss his upcoming attempt to return home, as well as a few other issues.

ER's mind comes back to reality and looks around to see who alls here

Tehanu steps inside and looks around. She heads over to a set of cushions where she can keep an eye on the exits.

Lyrak follows her over to the cushions and lies down.

She lies down near him and takes one of his hands.

Leona sees Tehanu and goes in the back to put in her usual order.

ER comes out of the back with a red crystal rod in his hand and sees that there are customers here now.

Welcome you have come on a very special night. We are celebrating new ownership here. I have just purchaced the bar from Virus. Everything you would like tonight is on the house.

Lyrak squeezes Tehanu's hand. Thank you, sir.

"Thank you, Eloquent Rune"

She smiles at Lyrak, "I hope you like my usual, lover."

What is it? ((Gotta go eat, be back in a bit))

Tehanu hesitates for a second, "It's steak, more precisely dragon steak. I've heard that they only take it after the dragon has died from other causes." She watches to see his reaction.

Leona comes out with two plates and two glasses of wine, putting them down for Lyrak and Tehanu.

Lyrak isn't sure what to think. Oh. I guess that's okay, then.

"I hope you like it, I certainly have developed a taste for it." She slices off a bite and offers it to him.

Lyrak takes it and chews. Mmmm, that is good, he says once he's swallowed.

Tehanu slices off a bite for herself and delicately takes it off her fork with her teeth.

Tyranis (a small teal sphere) poofs from behind a shadow and hovers. "Is there anything going on in here?"

Tehanu ignores the sphere as she offers Lyrak another piece.

Lyrak takes the bite. Swallowing, he sips his wine and says, I'll be spending some time away from the Temple for the next few days. I hope you don't mind.

"I don't mind, just please stay safe." She eats her dinner and sips her wine. "I may take hTehanu out during the day to catch some mice."

[Lord Iames Osari]

I'll just be at Goldshadows'. And that sounds like it'll be a good time for the two of you.

"I really enjoy going hawking, it's something I rarely get to do."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak sips his wine and cuts himself a piece of the steak. Hawks are beautiful birds.

Tehanu leans back and sips her wine, her eyes look off into the distance, "Yes, they are."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Why did you name your familiar after yourself?

[wxdruid]

Tehanu's attention is abruptly brought back to Lyrak, "I guess because she's always been there for me. I may not always be able to have her near and sometimes I have to bury the link deep inside. But I know she's there." Tehanu offers him her last bite of steak.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak nods and takes the bite. I see.

[wxdruid]

Tehanu sips her wine and watches him, "Lyrak," she looks down, her voice drops to a whisper, "I really never want to hurt you, please believe me."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak looks at her. You keep saying that. Why? Are you afraid that you'll hurt me?

[wxdruid]

She looks up at him with pleading eyes, "Please..." her voice trails off as she looks down again, her hair swinging forward to cover her face. I can't tell him, I just can't. "I know so many ways to hurt people. I don't want to cause you pain."

[Lord Iames Osari]

Lyrak moves the dishes out of the way and pulls her into his arms. You can tell me, love. I know I can't do much to help on my own, but I have a patron who can. But I can't ask for His help if I don't know what kind of help is necessary.

She buries her face in his neck, unwilling to talk about it just yet. In a muffled voice, "Let's go home" wishing very hard that he knew how to teleport.

ER walks in notices the aura of the room and quietly walks to his seat in the corner.

((Wish granted. Sort of.))
Okay. I wish you'd talk to me about it, though. He takes out a power stone and concentrates on it. It flares with light, and the two of them are telported back to the Temple. In their place is a small pile of coins.

Virus wanders in the door... and sits down..

ER walks over to the table where the guests were sitting...

I said it was on the house for them but oh well...

He takes the coins and sees Virus.

Hey whats up wanna drink?

" i need some of the "good" shisha..... rough day..."

I'll go grab some for ya

ER walks to the back room and comes back with the "good" shisha and hands it to Virus.

ER walks into the back room does some paper work and falls asleep at his new desk.

virus lights up..... and drifts off.

Val and Anna continue to talk, seemingly going hrough the entire emotional spectrum as they do so.

Suddenly, a loud rumble of thunder distracts them. Anna stops in the midddle of saying something. You'd better get going! she says instead, the first words of common she's spoken in a while. Val jumps to his feet, and begins gathering up a few stray sheets from the book.

Anna gets to her feet, and dismisses her ethereal chair and glass. Val looks briefly at the large array of empty bottles, glasses and plates spread out before him, and creates a towering pile of gold in the corner. They both then leave, though hesitantly.

ER wakes up in the back walks to the front sees the gold tower and moves it to the back and then cleans up his desk and goes and sleeps in his bed for a bit.

Vivian comes inside and picks out some cushions.

Remy enters and sits down beside Vivian. "Right...a draw..." he smiles at her.

Well hey, I had'ja pinned against tha wall.

[Dark Saiyans]

"I seem to recall that I had you pinned first." Remy winks.

The NPC server arrives. Can I get you two something?

[AmberVael]

Vivian thinks it over, then decides that Hookah Hanks desperately needs a menu. So she was going to add something to its non-existant (other than silver dragon steaks and pot roast) menu.
Hmmm...
She was, however, going to have to think of something interesting.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy looks to the server. "It'll be a moment." He smiles as Vivian thinks.

Vivian smiles.

"And I'll have the steak."

The NPC runs off to get their order. Remy smiles at Vivian.

What, ya don' wanna try somethin' new?

[Falon_Lin]

A young girl with short black hair with silver tips walks in. One eye is a blue grey, the other ice blue. She's dressed in a long brown trenchcoat, a loose off-white shirt, and blue jeans. Her boots thunk heavily on the floor, as though she were a child running around in her father's shoes. She glances around and smiles a fanged grin. She then looks at the patrons as though searching for someone specifically.

"Nah, not this time." Remy keeps smiling at Vivian.

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods and smiles to the newcomer politely before turning back to Remy.
Well that ain't much fun.

Remy shrugs and keeps smiling.

Vivian smiles.
I think its yer turn to tell a story.

"Give me a minute to think of a good one."

Leona comes back with their food, and Vivian eats while she waits.

The girl clears her throat. "Pardon me...I hate to interrupt...but I'm searching for someone..."

Vivian looks up with interest.
Well who are ya lookin for? I don' know too many, but I might be able ta help ya.

"Well, I guess I could tell you the story of why Xemnas is after me."

Remy turns.

"Who's being looked for?"

[Falon_Lin]

The girl scowls at the name 'Xemnas.' She looks at Remy. "Forgive me, but are you part of the Shipmaster family?"

[Dark Saiyans]

"Nope, but I have a friend who is."

[AmberVael]

((*sigh*))
Vivian shakes her head.

[Falon_Lin]

The girl nods, "They're the ones I'm searching for."

[Dark Saiyans]

"A building down the street. Big sign. Wukei's Bounty Hunter's. Something like that."

[AmberVael]

Vivian turns her attention back to her food.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy reaches for Vivian's hand and gives her a smile.

[Falon_Lin]

She bows her thanks and goes stomping out as noisily as she came in.

[AmberVael]

Vivian holds Remy's hand and smiles back.
Now what's this story?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, I've already told you, I used to be a Dark Saiyan, just like is."

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, I used to be one of Xemnas' main go to guys. He'd come to me on almost all of our most important decisions. Finally, I was given direct orders from him to go after one of our own."

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods again, waiting to hear the rest.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, at first I didn't have a problem with the order. I mean, it didn't seem like a hard task. All I had to do was get a group together and take this guy down. Except Xemnas lied. He never mentioned the number of Dark Saiyans that had been killed. And he never mentioned that he was sending us up against our most powerful warrior, Kyrian."

[AmberVael]

I see. That weren't very smart.

[Dark Saiyans]

"No, it wasn't. Turns out, Kyrian had been turned over to good by a pretty face. And when that happened, his moral code changed from the rest of us. He started protecting the people we were trying to kill.

Anyways, back to my part in all of this. When Kyrian and I finally fought, I was somehow able to match him throughout the fight. To this day, I still believe he held back. Finally, he did defeat me, but he gave me a choice. To either continue as I was, at which he'd kill me right there, or to try and change who I was."

[AmberVael]

An so ya said yes.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Aye, I did. And so he trained me. I became stronger and faster thanks to him. And together, we took down the Dark Saiyans, except for a small handful. The last thing I remember was Xemnas laughing at me before he banished me."

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods, waiting for the rest.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Xemnas banished me to a place called the Phantom Zone. Nasty piece of work place that is. I was there for gods know how long. One day, Xemnas apparently was banished there by Kyrian, and he found me. He tried once again to get me to kill Kyrian, and I tricked him into believing I would. When Kyrian was banished to the Phantom Zone, I waited and bided my time. Kyrian, being of royal blood, was the only one that could open the door out. When he did, me and four others, Xemnas included hitched a ride here with Kyrian. Kyrian's killed three of them, I've sided with him, and now all that's left is Xemnas. And Xemnas wasn't too happy to hear I'm still on Kyrian's side."

[AmberVael]

An' so now what?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Now Xemnas wants both me and Kyrian dead, I guess. It hasn't been written yet."

Remy gently squeees Vivian's hand and smiles.

"I mean, would you like the "and the dashing saiyan got the girl" ending?"

[AmberVael]

Very funny. I meant what're we gonna do next?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, I believe I promised to spar you?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian gets a bit frustrated.
I meant what are we gonna do about Xemnas?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, thanks to Elya, I shouldn't have to worry about getting controlled like that again. And I plan on helping Kyrian, when the time comes."

[AmberVael]

I guess I'll be with ya then.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Am I able to stop you?"

[AmberVael]

Well we're about ta find out, aren't we?
Vivian smiles at him.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy shakes his head and laughs.

[AmberVael]

Vivian finishes her meal and leans back on the cushions.
If I ever get the motivation ta get up.

"Hm...." Remy thinks about how he could get Vivian up.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles and relaxes.

Remy watches Vivian with a smile.

[AmberVael]

Hmmm... now why should I get up?

"Because I'll be awfully tempted to kiss you if you don't?" Remy winks at her.

An' ya wouldn't anyways?

"The real question is, would you complain either way?"

[AmberVael]

Depends on how far ya took it.
Vivian's mouth twitches, as if she was trying to contain laughter.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy just smiles at her.

[AmberVael]

Vivian finally just laughs at him, unable to contain it.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy sits back and sighs, smile still on his face.

[AmberVael]

Ya really just don' get it at all.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Get what?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian just smiles at him.

[Dark Saiyans]

"You want me to kiss you already? Is that what I'm not getting?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian raises an eyebrow in amusement.

[Dark Saiyans]

"What? You can't keep leaving me confused like this. What is it that I'm not getting?"

[AmberVael]

Ya see, tha problem is if I tell ya, it'll ruin it all.

[Dark Saiyans]

"You've been giving me your answer, you're just waiting for me to either ask the question again, or say it myself?"

[AmberVael]

I can't tell ya that Remy. I really can't. Yer just gonna have ta figure this out on yer own.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Vivian, do you enjoy spending time with me?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods agreeably.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy slides a little closer. "And do you have any feelings for me?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles at him.
Well I could rightly say that about anyone. It'd be odd not ta have feelin's.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Ok, fine. I'll ask this way, how do you feel about me? What do you think of me?"

[AmberVael]

Yer a good fella Remy. Ya make me smile, an' know how t'treat someone.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy grins at her. "Will you allow me to be yours?"

[AmberVael]

I ain't givin' myself to anyone, an I ain't takin' anyone.
Vivian smiles a very little. She looks like she is wearing a poker face.

Remy looks her in the eyes.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles politely at Remy.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

[AmberVael]

Tha' depends, Remy.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Depends?"

[AmberVael]

Mm hm. It does.

[Dark Saiyans]

"And what would it depend on?"

[AmberVael]

It depends on you, Remy.
Vivian gets up and walks to the door.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy pays for their meal and heads over to Vivian. He kisses her on the cheek, before he opens up the door. "And how am I doing?"

I dunno, Remy. Sometimes yer gettin' there, but others...
She shakes her head and walks out the door.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy leaves after her.

[AmberVael]

Vivian comes inside.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy enters and takes Vivian's hand. "Our usual spot?"

[AmberVael]

Mm hm.
((Brb... sigh))

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy leads Vivian over to the same place they were the last two times they were here.

Vivian leans back on the cushions and smiles at Remy.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy smiles back as the server comes over and asks for their orders.

I think I'll have tha mahi-mahi.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Hm...I think that sounds good, I'll try that as well."

The server nods and runs off to get the food. Remy sits back and smiles at Vivian

Do ya even know what it is, Remy?
Vivian looks amused.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Fish, if I'm correct."

[AmberVael]

Jest makin' sure. Ya sounded like ya only got it 'cause I did.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Well, I said I'd try something new, and I knew what this one was, so I figured, why not?" Remy grins.

[AmberVael]

I guess it makes sense.
Vivian leans over towards him very slightly.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy smiles and leans slightly towards Vivian, looking her in the eyes with a smile.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles a little and looks towards the kitchens.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy leans in closer, kissing Vivian lightly on her lips.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles and continues to wait.

[Dark Saiyans]

The server arrives with their food and places a plate of mahi-mahi in front of each of them.

[AmberVael]

Vivian picks up a fork and begins eating daintily. She does it in a manner that suggests she finds it amusing to act that way, however.

[Dark Saiyans]

Remy slowly begins to eat, watching Vivian out of the corner of his eyes.

Vivian gives a slow grin and continues eating her fish.

Remy turns back to his fish, and keeps eating.

Vivian slowly finishes and leans back on the cushions again.

After Remy finishes, he slides over to Vivian and wraps an arm around her shoulder. "Here's to you beating me, for the first and last time." Remy grins as he finishes.

Oh? Ya think I have that few strategies, Remy?

"I never said that. I just said that it's the last time you'll win."

[AmberVael]

Ya sure a certain of yerself. Never plan on sparrin' again?

[Dark Saiyans]

"Nope, I definetly plan on sparring you again." Remy smiles and kisses Vivian on the cheek.

[AmberVael]

Yer gonna lose sometime, Remy.
She leans against him.

[Dark Saiyans]

"Ya, I'm only teasing, cheri. I know I can't win them all. Glad I won the one that was most important to me thought."

Vivian smiles.

Remy reaches up and gently runs his hand through Vivian's hair. He smiles at her.

I get tha feelin' we might want somewhere more private.

Remy raises an eyebrow.

Vivian smiles at him and gives him a short kiss.
People might get jealous of ya.

"Well then, where do you suggest?"

Vivian smiles at him, raising a hand to his cheek.

Remy tosses payment and tip onto the table. "My room, teleport?"

Remy gives Vivian a small kiss before they vanish.

Kyrian and Lillah appear.

Lillah takes a seat, with Kyrian's help. She smiles at him. I haven't eaten here before, what is good to eat?

They have...well, I've really only tried the silver dragon steak.

[McBish]

Hm, sounds interesting. I'll try that.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian orders two steaks and the server runs off. Kyrian reaches out and moves some of Lillah's hair out of her face.

[McBish]

She smiles at him. So you want to talk about it?

[Kyrian]

About what?

[McBish]

The last time you were in here.

[Kyrian]

I was with a lady named Arha. She'd corrupted me, and was using me for evil deeds...

[McBish]

Oh... yeah I heard about that. She looks down at the ground, sorry for brining up such an uncomfortable subject.

Kyrian lifts his hand and gently rests it against Lillah's cheek. He pulls her face closer to his and kisses her passionetly.

[McBish]

She smiles at him. You know I don't hold your past against you right?

[Kyrian]

I know dear. And I'm completely thankful for that.

Their food arrives.

[McBish]

Lillah starts to eat, Oh this is good.

[Kyrian]

Told you. Kyrian begins to eat.
