First things first, this level 20 progression is based on two Pr.cs. made by M-Bark called the Chicken Master (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167862&highlight=Cluckzor), and the Barngod (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170098). I encourage everyone to check out those links. :-)

ChickenGod

http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/4313/manandhis.jpg

Town witch... no I'm no town witch. My name's Jeb, I'm a chicken farmer...

It is a well known fact that Sorcerers usually start to get there powers around puberty. Usually, at that age, the sorcerer just starts making random things happen; things move around his house, strange voices seem to follow him around, things related to daily routine seem to appear around him out of no where. As time moves on, most of these children learn to control there powers and make wonderful extraordinary things happen... but not always. For those that can never master their magic, or who just didn't have quite enough magic in the first place, life is often hard. On the other hand sometimes its not. The, ChickenGod, is one of several common anomalies that occur when people from average backgrounds come very near but not quite to greatness. Yes, some people like eggplants, some people like pigs, many people like bunnys and almost everyone loves to snuggle a cute little kitty cat; but most commoners know everybody needs chickens. It is likely this is why so many failed sorcerers develop into ChickenGods... Whether they like it or not. ChickenGods are people from common backgrounds. Almost always they and there families are chicken farmers going back for generations. These poor people are cursed, with chickens, the, 'fowl,' birds almost infest the individual. As much time as they spent with chickens before, once a ChickenGod's powers start coming in they will never think of the birds in the same way again... How they think of them is completely up to the temperament of each individual. A ChickenGod, is afflicted by his power of chicken summoning; unable to use his magic by choice, he is instead cursed with a strong likelihood of accidentally pulling chickens out of nowhere any time he attempts to reach, grab-for, or in any way attain any item which he cannot easily or fully see.
Adventurers: Very few ChickenGods are adventurers as-such, however, much like true sorcerers a good number are forced from their homes during their youth by their frightened peers. On the other hand some of the more excitable ChickenGods do get wrapped up in adventuring, though they would not call it that, if they live in areas that have restrictive agriculture or trade laws. In such situations it is not unheard of for a ChickenGod to seek out public individuals who have the power to change the questionable regulations. This more often than not just ends up leading to dark conspiracies, evil creatures... or boring paper work, but defiantly something bad regardless. In any area however if there is a ChickenGod around he is probably not adventuring at all but rather just sitting on his farm raising his chicken, and perhaps acting as the town's(ineffectual) magic user.
Characteristics: ChickenGods have to constantly deal with their unusual curse; dealing with their unusual situation teaches them to deal with most troubles with a laugh and self-deprecating joke, transforming these situations from hardship to funship; and that is the mark of a true ChickenGod. Unlike other magically powered people, the ChickenGod has no, mystical, way to directly effect most things. Instead, what the ChickenGod has, is chicken. Every time he reaches for something, that he can not completely see, there is a 50% chance that he will miss it and instead grab a magically summoned chicken. A rare flaw to be sure, but not everyone inflicted with chicken infestation automatically becomes a ChickenGod. No, what makes a ChickenGod, a ChickenGod, is his ability to use, augment, and sometimes even fuse with, the chicken he is forced to procure. When a ChickenGod, first starts out he is able to do little more than just cause terrified chicken to appear in his hand, but as time goes on a true ChickenGod gains the ability to augment the chicken, at first just in normal ways that any good breeder could accomplish in a few generations. As his power increases though, he gains the ability to pull chicken form strange unearthly places, or make them come out the size of houses. The most powerful ChickenGods, can even make some of his chickens intelligent enough for simple speech, and powerful enough to cast spells of there own... rumors even persist of ChickenGods capable of becoming strange, quasi-human things, with the teeth of devils, the faces of angels, the bodies of nymphs and the waddles of roosters.
Alignment: Most ChickenGods are neutral, they are more often then not just normal simple folk who are somewhat better than most at making the best of a bad situation. Even if they themselves have a somewhat more adventurous bent, there parents were most likely just normal simple folk who were somewhat better then most at making the best out of a bad situation and this likely rubbed off on them. Of corse it is not unheard of for a ChickenGod to be good aligned. Most good aligned ChickenGods, stay in their home town helping to support it with his chickens, and doing what he can magically to help the towns people stay safe and healthy. When Good aligned ChickenGods do hit the adventuring path it is more often than not because they have been hired by an unaware group of adventurers to carry the parties treasure as they go delving into dungeons. In cases like this it is easily as likely that the ChickenGod will eventually be accepted as a full fledged member of the group as it is he will be squished by big-bad, number three. Evil ChickenGods are extremely rare but one or two have existed. In these cases the evil ChickenGod usually just torments his home town with mischievous thieving chicken, or uses his fusion ability to haunt the town as a werecock sort of creature.
Religion: ChickenGods are very divers in there religious beliefs. Most, simply revere whatever god, or gods, her parents or their surrounding community revere. On two occasions however, ChickenGods, were actually partially imbued favored souls of the insane god Cluckzor (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145296&highlight=Cluckzor) and a rare few other ChickenGods have been known to worship the insane over-lord of capon.
Background: I think this was already explained, so instead here is a chicken joke.

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road, roll in the mud and cross the road again?

A: Because he was a dirty double-crosser.

Race: Humans and Half-Elves are the most common ChickenGods, with humans having the greatest number but Half-Elves being more common per capita. There have been a handful of Half-Orc ChickenGods and maybe even a couple of Orcs as well, but it is extremely rare. ChickenGods of other races are almost unheard of, and Gnomes have not yet ever produced a member of this unfortunate class of individuals. The reason ChickenGods are so rare among races other then Humans, Half-Elves, and to a much lesser extent Half-Orcs, is because members of other races very rarely have the same sort of strong connection with chickens that humans do. The reason that Half-Elves, and Half-Orcs sometimes become ChickenGods is because they are often raised by Humans. The reason that Human raised Half-Elves are more likely to become ChickenGods than are their human relatives, is because their Elven half gives them an automatic connection to the natural flow of arcane magic that normal Humans simply don't have, but they are often less able to master their natural magical inclinations than is the rare gifted human. This is because a Half-Elve, gains her magical inclinations from her Elve half, and must be understood in an Elven way. This often causes problems for Human raised Half-Elves if their Elven parent isn't around to help them understand what they are sensing. On rare(but all too common) occasions the cultural disconnect causes a particularly magical but unaware Half-Elve, to develop into a ChickenGod, instead of the powerful sorcerer he or she may otherwise have become.
Other Classes: ChickenGods usually think of members of all of the adventuring classes in the same way, specifically as, "those oddly dressed, pompous, danger freaks, that passed through town last night." Obviously Clerics of most good aligned gods are an exception and are usually welcomed and respected by a ChickenGod. ChickenGods whom find themselves on the road often seek out Fighters or Rangers to travel with... If a nice down to earth warrior or a cleric can't be found. On the, rare occasions when a ChickenGod, decides to seek employment traveling with adventurers(Gods Forbid!) She usually thinks of members from the other classes as better than himself. Sometimes this is just because the ChickenGod is self conscious about the fact that his fellow party members' powers are big and flashy where as her own are silly and clunky. Other times An, "adventuring," ChickenGod feels inferior because he is only travailing with the party because they are paying him to carry there excess luggage and the party never misses an opportunity to remind him of it. Either way ChickenGods and most other P.C. classes don't get along too well.
Role: At very early levels a ChickenGod might have some trouble finding his place within an adventuring party, but will usually find his role is to aid the tuffer front line melee combatants, by using his chickens to provide some meat-shielding for the meat shields. Clever low level ChickenGods will take up use of a ranged weapon that requires them to reach into a back mounted quiver each round to load ammo. because it increases the number of opportunities to pull chickens, and allow them a useful attack when they don't get a chicken. A ChickenGod's, role changes as he increases in level, a mid-leveled Chicken god makes a good substitute for a battle mage, as many of her, or her chicken's, abilities simulate spell effects in some way. Mid-level ChickenGods also make good scouts and spies, because they can send one of their chickens out ahead of the party, or leave one in the house or office of a mysterious n.p.c. and then use her, "improved chicken sense," ability to see and hear what is going on around the chicken. At somewhat higher levels the ChickenGod can use his, "Fusion," ability to aid the primary meleé characters in a more direct way, wading into combat as a half human, half monstrously augmented chicken, thing. Finally, the most powerful ChickenGods are able to use their chickens as support casters to aid the party as supplemental healers and distance casters.

GAME RULE INFORMATION
ChickenGods have the following game rule information.
Abilitys: Charisma is the most important ability for a ChickenGod because it helps determine how well he can use the, Handel Animal, skill; which for most ChickeGods is the only means of controlling the chicken that they seem to magically summon. Charisma also determines how many times per-day a ChickenGod can use his Otherfarmly Heritage, ability. After Charisma, the next most important ability for most ChickenGods is intelligence, because, it will aid the ChickenGod in performing successful, Barns and Nobles, checks, as well in determining how many bonus skill points and languages the ChickenGod will get. The third most important skill for a ChickenGod is probably dexterity. High dexterity raises a character's A.C., which is important to a ChickenGod since they aren't automatically proficient with any armor or shields. Dexterity also increases a character's accuracy with weapons and other touch attacks. The other three abilities, are all of about equal importance to a ChickenGod; Constitution will help increase the characters otherwise somewhat mediocre h.p. totals; strength will increase the ChickenGod's weapon damage if he should choose to use a melee weapon; and wisdom will help increase how affectively the ChickenGod uses some of his class skills.
Alignment: Any non-chaotic.
H.D.: d6

Class Skills:
The ChickenGod's class skills(and the key ability for each skill) are, Climb(Str), Craft(Int), Handel Animal(Cha), Jump(Str), Listen(Wis), Profession(Wis), Ride(Dex), Spot(Wis), Swim(Str), Use Rope(Dex), Intimidate(Cha), and Use Magic Device(Arcane only) (Cha)
Skill points at first level: (2 + Int modifier) x 4
Skill points at each additional level: 2 + Int modifier.

Class features:
All the following are class features of the ChickenGod.
Weapon and armor proficiency: A ChickenGod whom takes ranks in either, Profession(farming), or Profession(chicken raising), gains the ability to use one bladed, tined, or hammer-headed, farming implement as a weapon; as though he had taken a feat to gain proficiency with it. Other then that, the ChickenGod is proficient with one simple weapon. The ChickenGod is not proficient with any other weapons, nor is a ChickenGod proficient with any type of armor or shields. A ChickenGod whom takes both Profession(farming), and profession(chicken raising), does not automatically gain the use of a second, bladed, tined, or hammer-headed, farm implement as a weapon that he is proficient with.
Chicken Infestation: At the beginning, what starts a person down the road toward being a ChickenGod isn't duty, or purpose, or some divine calling, but rather a terrible fluke. A ChickenGod is what you get when a normal, person who is abnormally good at coping, is struck with the terrible flaw of chicken infestation... being chicken infested. A character(usually a commoner) who has the chicken infestation flaw gains the following mechanics: A person who has taken the chicken infested flaw must make a d% check whenever she reaches for any item that is fully or partially obscured from her vision. The infested person must make this check even if the item she is reaching for is in a container that is within her sight if the particular item within is not. Additionally the check is forced even if the container, the infested person is reaching for, is too small, too hot, too cold, or in some other way too inhospitable, to hold a chicken. The chicken Infested person must make this check even if she is reaching for an item that is out of sight but actually on her person(carried on her back or held within her pocket). Additionally the check is forced whenever an infested person reaches for an item that is obscured, regardless of whether it is in a container or not(and as already stated regardless of whether or not the container is clearly visible). When the d% check is rolled there is a 50%(1-50) chance that the infected individual will retrieve the item that he or she is reaching for, as normal; but there is also a 50%(51-100) chance that instead of the sought item, the chicken infested person will discover that she has some how, "accidentally," grabbed a live chicken seemingly out of nowhere. A character who is taking levels in ChickenGod, does not gain the bonus feats that would usually come along with this flaw.(As an optional rule, whenever the infested character is either in water, or on a boat that is in water the d% check can be changed thusly: 1-50 : character gets the item as normal, 51-98 : character gets chicken, 99-100 : character, "accidentally," grabs a live, tuna weighing 100lbs.)
Instinctive magic: Although a ChickenGod never gains any real mastery over the magical energy he possesses , they are usually able to learn a few simple spells at some time in their lives. At first level a ChickenGod may take one of the feats, Communicator, Insightful, Necropolis Born, Night Hount, Soul Of The North, or Spell Hand, as a bonus feat.

Chicken Affinity: By second level the chicken god is already so well trained in the ways of chicken "rearin," that they get a +8 to all Handle Animal checks made in regards to the delicious birds.
Barns & Nobels: A ChickenGod ain’t an idiot. He’s learned in what he does and whom he does it for. At third level a ChickenGod gains an ability similar to the Bard’s, Bardic Knowledge. He may make a special knowledge check with a bonus equal to his ChickenGod level + his Intelligence modifier to see whether or not he knows some relevant peace of information about local notable people, farm animal species, agricultural plants, or the location of taverns, butchers, millers and bakers, or laws and regulations relevant to agricultural and rural business.
Bred for Purpose(Ex): At third level, a ChickenGod gains the ability to, once / round before he draws a weapon or pulls out an item, declare he is using bread for purpose(gamecock). If he pulls out a chicken instead of the item or weapon (50% chance as usual), he can substitute a Gamecock for a nomral chicken. At fifth level the ChickenGod gains the ability exchange any of the feats, of the next chicken he pulls out, for any other feats the chicken qualifies for. At eighth level, a ChickenGod can also lower any of the chickens ability scores by up to 2 and then increase another by the same amount. The ability score being lowered cannot fall below 1 and she cannot decrease or increase a chickens Intelligence score. At eleventh level she can increase and decrease ability scores by up to 4, at fourteenth level by up to 6, and at seventeenth level by up to 8. A ChickenGod may use multiple aspects of this class feature at once, and may use this class feature in tandem with other chicken altering class features.
Super-Size-It point pool: At third level a ChickenGod gains a pool of magical energy called a Super-Size-It point pool. The Super-Size-It point pool contains Super-Size-It points which the ChickenGod may use through his, Super-Size-It class feature throughout the day. When the Super-Size-It point pool, is empty the ChickenGod may no longer use his Super-Size-It class feature. Regardless of how few or many points a ChickenGod uses in any one day his Super-Size-It point pool will always be completely refilled after eight hours of sleep. Eight full hours of sleep are necessary, if the ChickenGod does not get his full eight hours of shut-eye, no Super-Size-It points are regenerated at all. At third level the pool contains two Super-Size-It points, at sixth level, the points in the pool increase to four, at ninth level, the pool contains eight point, at twelfth 16 points, and so on until the ChickenGod gains his absolute maximum of sixty-four points at eighteenth level.
Super-Size-It: Starting at third level, ChickenGods gain the ability to vaguely channel some of their magical energy into their chicken. Before drawing a weapon or pulling out an item, a ChickenGod can declare that he will summon forth, "a chicken the likes of which none have ever seen before!" When he does so he must also select how many Super-Size-It points he wishes to invest in that particular chicken; the more points he invests the bigger the chicken will be(see table 1-2) if the ChickenGod fails his d% check(50% chance as normal). If the ChickenGod pulls the item or weapon out successfully, he only expends half of the super-size-it points that he invested in that attempt. Super-Sized chicken disappear at dusk.

Chicken Sense: Starting at level 4, you can attune your senses very well to the presence of chicken. You automatically detect a chicken if it is within 60 feet of you, even if you don’t have line of sight or line of effect to it.
Cluck-Fu: By level four a ChickenGod has become so used to grasping chicken that he can wield them as he would a simple weapon. A chicken used as a weapon deals 1d6 nonlethal damage. At sixth level the ChickenGod's skills with chicken increase and he learns techniques to use Chicken in either or both hands. This increased skill grants the sixth level ChickenGod the Two-Weapon fighting feat whenever he uses chicken as a melee weapon(s). By eighth level ChickenGods have been working with unusually large birds long enough that their physical strength and prowess actually improves, granting him the Powerful build feat as a bonus feat. At tenth level a ChickenGod's chicken wielding skills have improved to the point where the character is treated as having the Improved Two-Weapon fighting feat whenever they use chicken as melee weapons. By twelfth level a ChickenGod has spent so much time wrangling birds of such great sizes that his hands have become like vices and he gains the Monkey-grip feat as a bonus feat. At fourteenth level a ChickenGod has had so much experience bringing chickens to knife fights that he is treated as having the Greater Improved Two-Weapon Fighting feat, whenever he wields chicken as melee weapons. Finally at sixteenth level the ChickenGod has spent so much time lifting increasingly big, and heavy, fowl through the air to club people with that he has become a mountain of utilitarian muscle. At sixteenth level a ChickenGod's carrying capacity is affected as though the ChickenGod had a strength score of sixty(60). This allows a ChickenGod to lift objects of extreme weight and even wield extremely large/heavy weapons(or chicken) however this does not increase a ChickenGod's bonuses on strength checks, damage roles, or any other non-lifting related use of strength. A ChickenGod of any level can deal lethal damage with his chicken by decreasing his total damage potential by one step. Chicken cannot attack while being wielded. If you choose to wield them two-handed, huge or larger chicken are treated as reach-weapons that still allow you to attack, though not threaten, the squares adjacent to you.

Otherfarmly Heritage: Starting at level four, once per day(1/day), before drawing a weapon or pulling out an item, a ChickenGod may declare that he will summon forth, "a chicken the likes of which none have ever seen before!" If he pulls out a chicken instead of the item or weapon he was reaching for, you may apply a template to it that increases its CR by no more than 1. If the ChickenGod pulls the item or weapon out successfully, he does not expend his daily use of this ability. Starting at fourth level the ChickenGod gains an additional use of this ability every four levels, 2/day at seventh level, 3/day at eleventh level, 4/day at fifteenth level, and so on. Additionally, every fifth level, after fourth, the ChickenGod gains the ability to apply multiple or more powerful templates to their chicken. The total C.R. bonus of the template(s) applied to your chicken increases by one every five levels after fourth(+2CR at level eighth, +3CR at thirteenth, and +4CR at level eighteen). At twentieth level the ChickenGod gains the ability to, "summon," a chicken who's templates combine to raise its CR to no more than +5. Chicken on which has been used, Otherfarmly Heritage, disappear at dusk.

Explosive: Starting at fifth level, If one of your chickens dies, it pops with a puff of smoke and deals 1d4fire damage to creatures or objects sharing any square with it. If the chicken is medium or larger, any flamable objects also sharing a square with the chicken ignite. If the Chicken is Large or larger creatures or objects in a square adjacent to the chicken are also dealt 1fire(reflex save DC12 negates) damage. If the chicken is huge or larger, flammable objects in adjacent squares are also ignited. Finally if the chicken is colossal or larger creatures or objects in adjacent squares are dealt 1d2fire damage(reflex save DC13 for half minimum 0), instead of 1fire damage.
Inbred Stock: Starting at sixth level, three times per day(3/day), before drawing a weapon or pulling out an item, a ChickenGod may declare that he will summon forth, "a chicken the likes of which he is legally restricted from bringing to market!" If he fails his d% check(50% chance as normal) instead of the weapon or item, the ChickenGod produces a Cockatrice. The Cockatri, do not gain the benefit of any other class features the ChickenGod would usually apply to his chickens.
Blackened: Starting at seventh level, unless the ChickenGod specifically targets one of his chicken not to be affected, all of his chicken will be affected by Blackened. When a chicken that is affected by the ChickenGod's, Explocive, ability explodes, the following occurs: When the smoke clears a fully plucked and butchered chicken is left siting on an earthen platter(2lbs), The chicken is fully cooked and perfectly nutritious(see table 1-4), however the outside is burnt and tough as though it had been, "blackened." At fourteenth level, the chicekn is plated with a randomly selected garnish.
Inborn Training: Starting at seventh level all chicken's pulled by a ChickenGod come into play already being trained in one randomly generated General Purpose.
Bite Attack: Starting at ninth level, your chicken all gain a secondary bite attack. Treat your chicken as though they were two size categories smaller than they actually are for purposes of calculating how much damage they can deal(i.e. 1dmg-at tiny, 1d2 at small, 1d3 at medium, and so on).
Improved Chicken Sense: At level ten your Chicken Sense becomes even greater and more awesome than it was before. Now, a number of times per day equal to your class level plus your charisma modifier, you can attune your senses to a chicken you have drawn within the last five minutes, enabling you to see and hear whatever the chicken sees and hears. You can use your own Listen and Spot modifiers or the chicken’s, whichever are greater. While a ChickenGod is using a chicken in this way, his body is on auto pilot, he can take no actions, except free actions to talk, and losses half of his dex. bonus to AC, but he is not considered helpless.
Magebred: Starting at eleventh level, all chickens a ChickenGod pulls out while using Super-Size-It, Otherfarmly Heritage, or a similar ability (but not Bred for Purpose), gains the Magebred template(Eberron Campaign Setting 295). The CR bonus gained through the application the Magebred template no longer counts against the ChickenGod's Otherfarmly Heritage CR limit.
Improved Grab: When one of your chickens hits with its bite attack, it can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Posses Chicken: At level fifteen a ChickenGod's sense for chicken has grown to the point where he doesn't just, "get," chicken, but now also gains the ability to posses them. Starting at fifteenth level a chicken god gains the ability to control the actions of any chicken he is actively using, chicken scene, to see or hear through.
Warbeast: Starting at fifteenth level, all chickens that you pull out while using Super-Size-It or Otherfarmly Heritage, or a similar ability (but not Bred for Purpose) gain the Warbeast template(Monster Manual II Pg. 219).The CR bonus gained through the application the Warbeast template no longer counts against the ChickenGod's Otherfarmly Heritage CR limit.
Instinctive Magic II: At sixteenth level the ChickenGod, gains a second feat in the Instinctive Magic feat list, and a second use per-day of each spell like ability granted by the First feat the ChickenGod selected.
Swallow Whole: Your chicken can try to swallow a grabbed opponent of two size categories or more smaller than itself, by making a successful grapple check. Once inside, the opponent takes an amount of damage every round as shown on table 1-5.

Fusion: Starting at eighteenth level a ChickenGod becomes so in-tune with chicken that he can, twice per day(2/day), fuse with one of his chicken becoming one hybrid being. You control the actions of the fused being; however, you can give up this control to the chicken you fuse with. Once you give up control, you cannot regain it unless the chicken relinquishes it. The fused being has your current h.p. plus the chicken's h.p. at the point you fused with it. The fused being knows all the powers you and/or the chicken knew, has the sum of your and the chicken’s power points(if any), has all of the special abilities which you and/or the chicken had, and knows or has prepared any spells you and/or the chicken may have had. Likewise, all feats, racial abilities, and class features are pooled(if both creatures have the same ability, the fused being gains it only once). For each of the six ability scores, the fused being’s score is the higher between your's and your chicken’s. The fused being also has the higher Hit Dice or manifester/spell/ets. level of the two creatures. This effectively means the fused being uses the better saving throws, attack bonuses, and skill modifiers between the two, ChickenGod and chicken. It also manifests powers/casts spells/etc, at the higher of the manifester/caster/etc, level which you or the chicken may have possessed before becoming fused. You decide which equipment is absorbed into the fused being and which equipment remains available for use. These fused items are restored once the power ends. When the power ends, the fused being separates and the chicken appears in an area adjacent to you that you determine. If separation occurs in a cramped space, the chicken is expelled through the Astral Plane, eventually coming to rest materially in the nearest empty space and takes 1d6 points of damage for each 10 feet of solid material the chicken had to bypass via the Astral Plane. Damage taken by the fused being is split evenly between you and the chicken when the power ends. You can not leave the fusion with more h.p. than you entered it with, unless you were damaged prior to the fusion and the fused being was subsequently healed. In like manner, the fused being’s remaining power points are split between you and the chicken(if either of you had any to begin with[you can leave with more points than you entered with, as long as you don’t exceed your maximum power points for your level and ability scores]). Ability damage and negative levels are also split between you and the chicken.(If an odd number of negative level or ability score reductions must be split, you decide whether you or the chicken receives the additional loss.) If a fused being is killed, it separates into its constituent creatures, both of which are still dead. You cannot use the, fission, power on the fused being. A, "fusion," can last until dusk. This is a supernatural ability.
Genius Critter: Begging at ninteenth a ChickenGod gains the ability to, when he first pulls out a chicken, bestow it with an intelligence of 3 and the class features of a level 1 member of a single class of his choice. The chicken's type changes form animal to magical beast(with the appropriate changes to HD, saves, BAB, skills and special abilities). The ChickenGod may use this ability a number of times per day equal to one third(1/3) his character level.
Eureka!: At twentieth level The ChickenGod has finally been tap-dancing his way around his magical potential long enough that he finally, "gets it." After countless hours of in field practice, manipulating small amounts of magic in rudimentary ways the ChickenGod has finally learned to take the next step forward with his magical aptitudes. At twentieth level, in addition to other benifits listed on table 1-1, the ChickenGod gains a level of sorcerer as though he were multi-classing into the class. However, the ChickenGod(/sorcerer) must take either a Gamecock or a Chicken as his familiar(all rules of multi-classing apply).

These dull brown birds are about 1 foot tall and have wingspans of about 2 feet. They can use their beaks for a nasty little peck.
The statistics presented here can describe most nonpredatory, domesticatable birds of similar size.

A gamecock is a lithe, agile fowl bred for their quickness and ornery temperment for use in fights. Their heads are small and narrow to a curved beak, and their wattles and combs are very unpronounced, having mostly been bred out of the stock as to remove an object for the rooster's opponent to grab onto. Its legs are thickly scaled, and its talons sharpened. From the inner sides of the leg grow two vicious, several inch long spurs that have had razor-sharp bits of metal fitted over to inflict more cruel damage.

Combat
Gamecocks are naturally bluffers, pretending to peck the ground and search for food, sometimes even walking off, before suddenly flying into the air to strike its opponent with its flurry of beak, claws and spurs. They lift their feathers high and appear to increase in size to further intimidate.

Crow (Ex): As a full-round action, a gamecock can utter a piercing crow that will awaken those that slumber naturally within 100 feet and can be heard out to a mile or two.

Ferocity (Ex): A gamecock is such a tenacious combatant that it continues to fight without penalty even while disabled or dying.

Limited Flight (Ex): A chicken is a poor flyer and generally can "fly" for short distances. It can use its flight ability to prevent taking falling damage or to fly upwards up to 20 feet. The chicken must always land at the end of its flight each round.

Pounce (Ex): When a gamecock makes a charge, it can follow with a full attack, including a spur attack (+5 melee, 1d3-4 damage, 19-20/x2).

Skills:
Gamecocks have a +2 racial bonus on intimidate and bluff checks, a +4 bonus to balance, escape artist, hide and spot checks, and a +6 bonus to survival checks. While in tall undergrowth this hide bonus increases to +6.

Gamecocks As Familiars
A gamecock grants a +3 bonus to Bluff checks.

Unless you just think it is cooler, could you please spell "Cluckzor"'s name correctly? You had it as "Cluczore" under religion... I also think it would just make sense to turn it into a LINK (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145296).

The Size-It pool is an interesting thing for sure. If you could also use it for other things a little altering of the amount of points might be in order and make it also more interesting at once, but that was a clever thing you did.

Thank you very much. DO you have any suggestions of how to add to the super-size-it point pool?

Oh and on the subject of cats, I have an old class in my hard drive, called the Necomancer. It might be perfect for that bad guy you were talking about. Whould yo like to see it?

As for the nekomancer, it would probably be easiest to just email the file to you. I think I will p.m. you asking for the file.

Oh, one thing I wanted to ask about this class. How... much does it very from the feel/balance you were going for with your Prcs? I tried to keep it pretty close in both atmosphere and progression.(you will even knotice that for the first two levels they this class doesn't give anything you couldn't get by being a commoner of the same level with the chicken infestation flaw)

O.k., massive edit just done, corrected many things, and bolded the things that I had somehow forgot to bold before. I have included links to threads that gave me Ideas for this class(including Cluckzore!). I fixed the spelling on Cluckzore. I finally put in a swallow howl damage table, and I included stats for both the Chicken and Gamecock in spoilers on the bottom(I also, link to both the original Gamecock stats, and the original Chicken stats... that is the posts containing them by there O.Ps. though I changed nothing.)

Now that that is all done, I have two questions: First should I give the ChickenGod more points/level in his, "Super Size-it Point Pool?"
Second, what tier do people think this is realistically in?

p.s.: I am sorry to DracoDei, that I never finished the parts of this that were related to him and his god(that would be the ChickenGods of note section), but I promise I will some day... just not to day... again sorry.

That is "Cluckzor" no "E".
EDIT: Also, at 2nd level I would give them the ability to treat say... a number of creatures they have summoned using the class's abilities equal to their class level as having been trained by them with a number of tricks equal to half their class level. Releasing creatures is a free action, but even this limited level of control can not be regained... you have to re-"summon". The wider range of command options compared to Summon Monster ? and Summon Nature's Ally ? is justified in my mind by the pragmatic roots of this class. At later levels give them a ranger/druid's ability to command their chickions(chick+minion) as a lesser action.

You need to explain what you mean by General Purpose (I know you are referring to the purposes listed under Handle Animal, but you never actually state that). As for the +8 bonus, it is nice, but not actually all that flavorful. Then again, since the DCs for Handle animal do go up to AT LEAST 25 (for "pushing" a domesticated animal), that bonus will remain relevant for a good many levels. You MIGHT consider reducing the amount of time required to train, but I dunno.

Thugorp
2011-04-14, 10:07 PM
I will do that,(though not right now because I need to leave where I am)

Hmmm... what do you suggest for the flavor problem?

Also, on the topic of training there are 3 things I think might need to be considered.

First, is it needed? Are the chickens really going to be around that long? I mean the magic ones go away at sunset and the normal ones will very likely be killed by something(if not the players for food)

Second, is it thematically appropriate? The ChickenGod is supposed to be a regular old commoner farmer, who has been cursed with the Chicken infested flaw, and then learns to make the best of it. Would a chicken farmer really take the time/know how to train his chickens for complex tasks?(I should probably actually make it so that only the enhanced chicken get the training).

Third, many actually new abilities are appropriate for me to add? This class is supposed to be based on M-Bark's commoner P.R.C.s(I am actually a little worried that the abilities we added take it away from its commoner roots). First is it appropriate to differ in large ways when I am using so much of what he made. Right now it is an adaptation. If I change too much does it become a rip-off? Also, if I add to much, does it loss its, "I'm a commoner + ...," feeling?

These are all actual questions which I would love to get opinions on. :-)

DracoDei
2011-04-14, 11:41 PM
Well, as for your first and second points, the thing is they can't DO anything with the chickens without that. The chickens appear, and then might very well just sort of stand around (or run away if there is something scary around). Making something appear is all very well and good, but it isn't useful unless you can either control that thing, or the natural actions of that thing would be effective for your goals. This is actually MORE true the shorter they are around. The 7th level ability takes care of that rather handily, which is good. The 2nd level ability makes it more possible to have some attack chickens around, and recover said resource after they die in droves like the fractional HD creatures they are.

As for the third, that is a concern... then again "Commoner+" may be less critical in the end than "hilarious". Look at Bhu's Cat-Burglar thread... In the end, the choice is up to you, and I am not actually invested in either answer.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY TABLES? I am not sure what is wrong with the tables, but I can not get them to work.

The first item in my sig leads to a project of mine that's filled with tables of various distribution of columns.
Just find the post with the table that's most suited for you, reply with quote, copy the table and edit the content as you please.
Basically, the formatting of tables in GiantITP is very similar to HTML tables, but instead of pointy brackets, square brackets are used for tags.
