Krysta goes over to her. Back into your cell,, that's it...

[McBish]

"But wait I don't think I did it anymore. They were fake, someone... Someone is going to pay for this." Her voice turns from uncertain to angry as she speaks. She doesn't return to her cell.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Oh. Um, then.... you're innocent until proven guilty, so... get out of here!

[McBish]

"Um thank you" she heads out of the cell extension and wanders the streets.

[Kyrian]

Roixis appears inside the extension, inside one of the cells.

Curse not having a layout of this place...

He quickly looks to all of the antimagic cells, and whispers a few words. Sensing others coming, he quickly vanishes.

[Lord Iames Osari]

((You're a bastard, Kyrian. You really are.))

[AmberVael]

((Considering that there are three floors, that might take some time to look at all of them))

[Kyrian]

((Hey, you're trying to ruin my plans for my characters, I'm just making up for it))

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iams and Tejin come through the portal, and Iames leads Tejin to an antimagic cell. Since there are three floors, it's understandable that Roixis would miss some, and by sheer coincidence, Iames happens to lead Tejin to one that Roixis hadn't interfered with.

[Kyrian]

((Sorry Iames, I'm not allowing you to completely muck up my storyline))

[Lord Iames Osari]

((Fine. Happy now, Kyrian?))

[Kyrian]

((Completely. :P ))

Tejin enters the cell. There, you've thrown me in the cell, happy?

[Lord Iames Osari]

Moderately. Iames dismisses his antimagic field. If you want to be released, tell the fairies when they bring the meals around. Seeing as you've already served your time, I'm sure they'll be happy to let you out. Iames goes back through the portal.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian follows. Shortly after, Roixis appears. Can we go now? Give me a second. Tejin closes his eyes, and after a few seconds, nothing happens. Did you preform the spell? Just like you said, used my name and all. Your name? You fool! You were supposed to use mine. Dumbass. Roixis gives and eep and vanishes.

[Psicrystal]

Rocky comes through the portal and hovers, waiting for Grothak.

[Rainspattered]

"Well, here we are," Grothak says, "Thanks, Chum." Looking around, he sees if he can find Tejin awake.

[Kyrian]

Tejin is meditating in his cell.

[Rainspattered]

"Tejin?" Grothak asks quietly, not knowing if the magic-user is asleep or resting or in meditation.

[Kyrian]

Don't speak as if you know me. Tejin doesn't open his eyes.

[Rainspattered]

"Fair enough," Grothak says, "Sir. I do, however, know your compatriot, a fellow who looks like this and is possessed of an ability to extract lightning from his finger-tips along with an evident preponderance of the will to utilize said lightning. I seek to find him and meet him in battle for the harm he has dealt to my friends, sir. Your aid in finding him would be greatly appreciated. Or simply carry the message that I wish to challenge him, if you will. If such a task is below you-- or, perhaps, beyond you-- I could understand, but I most humbly request it. If he must battle Kyrian first, I would understand his obligation. I seek combat with him afterwards. Is this manner of speech detached enough for you, Good Sir?" Grothak could still only count on one hand the number of times he was actually glad he had learned the fancy diplomatic speech of the humans and elves, but the count might have risen one right now.

((Oh, he has a nearly flawless drawing of Roixis that is the "looks like this." I forgot that was mentioned in another thread. My bad.))

((Also, leaving for the night. Grothak will probably leave after getting your answer, you can just NPC it if you'd like, or everyone else just assume he does.))

[Kyrian]

You stand no chance against him. Now leave. Tejin still keeps his eyes shut.

[Kyrian]

Seeing the other person asleep, Roixis appears. He mutters several words under his breath, and Tejin nods at him. Roixis then disappears.

[Kyrian]

Tejin opens his eyes, and smiles. He faces in the direction of Inari's, and smiles.

It has begun, Kyrian...

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames and Roixis appear in the extension. Iames creates a leather contraption to hold Roixis's jaw shut, and puts him into the antimagic cell across from Tejin, then disappears again.

[Kyrian]

Tejin turns around and laughs at Roixis. Let me guess, you opened your mouth, and told him everything.

mmmf mmf mmmmffff mmfff!

[Ares]

In the morning, Tejin wakes up from his meditation. Kyrian's fall may come faster than we planned Roixis. We may be ahead of schedule. The others will be pleased to hear this. You were right, the people in this Town have pushed him farther and farther away.

[Kyrian]

Tejin smiles at his thoughts, and vanishes.

Later he reappears.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames appears. Sorry for forgetting about you, Roixis. He opes the door and lifts Roixis out, then makes a cut on his finger. Wiping the blood on Roixis's crystallized parts, he says, By my blood, be released. The crystal begins turning back into flesh. Iames removes the muzzle. You're free to go.

[Dark Saiyans]

About damn time you let me out...

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames disappears.

[Dark Saiyans]

Roixis looks at Tejin, and nods. He then vanishes.

[Dark Saiyans]

Tejin waits until Godric arrives with his breakfast.

I'd like to be released now.
Um...ok.


Godric opens the cell, and Tejin exits it. As Godric turns to close the cell, Tejin reaches out, and knocks the fairy out. He throws Godric into the cell, and locks him in. Taking the keys and food, and with a smile, he leaves.

Later, Tejin returns and using the keys, throws several dead bodies on top of the unconcious fairy, burying him. Tejin then leaves again.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin comes through the portal and begins looking around for Godric.

[Kyrian]

Some mumbling comes from a cell, filled with dead bodies.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin heads for it and tests the door to see if it's locked.

[Kyrian]

It's locked. Godric climbs out from the pile of bodies, looking very angered.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Godric, are you alright? Aerin looks at the lock, then draws her fist and tries to punch it out. ((Ki strike (adamantine), how I love thee...))

[Kyrian]

((I didn't make the locks, how should I know?))

That jerk wanted out...then attacked me.

[Lord Iames Osari]

((We'll assume it works, then.))

Aerin's punch doesn't break through the lock, but it does bend the metal enough for the lock mechanism to be rendered non-functional. Aerin pulls the door open. That's not good. Who was it?

[Kyrian]

The only one we had locked up here. Tejin. He must have brought these bodies back as well.

[Lord Iames Osari]

One of the ones after Kyrian?

[Kyrian]

I guess, I don't remember if he said he was.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Well, why don't you get back to the main part of the station. Aerin enters the cell and begins counting the bodies.

[Kyrian]

((There's about 20 by now))

Godric nods and goes through the portal, where he can now be NPCed by whoever wants.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Aerin makes careful note of the number of bodies, then goes back through the portal.

[Dark Saiyans]

Tejin appears inside the warehouse, carrying five bodies. Using his key to open the cell door, he throws them into an empty cell. He locks the door, and vanishes.

the kender dashes through. you know how boys run next to fences with a stick, holding it agaisnt ti to make a noise? well, the kender does that with a metal rod. and the rod absorbs metal, destroying the cell blocks.

the kender, always silly, is just being foolishly stupid right now. it doesnt know what it is doing, and is obsessed with its rod.

A group of celestials comes in and begins to rebuild the cells.

The cells are rebuilt, all of them crafted of reinforced adamntine and warded with antimagic fields. The celestials leave.

[Castaras]

Ferdir comes into the cell-block extension. He glances round him, smiling slightly.

Verdandi comes in, leading Castaras behind her.

[Castaras]

Castaras looks round her. Her eyes seem to go distant.

Not like the other place...

She watches Ferdir scuttle around.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi leads them both to the small kitchen area and stands by the doorway, watching them both and listening for anyone who may come after them.

[Castaras]

Ferdir looks at Castaras.

Where is the key to the soul burner?

Castaras glances at Verdandi.

Non-drow...

Does she matter?

Verdandi waits, watching them both.

[Castaras]

Castaras glares at the drider

When I'm out of here you watch your step, Ferdir. You haven't changed since you became a drider. Think getting the burner will save you? It won't. She never forgives.

Ferdir grins.

She has fangs. This is going to be fun...

I'm not telling you. It is not mean't to be used.

She looks back at Verdandi.

We're done.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi nods. Then we'll go back to the police station. She walks over to Castaras and takes her upperarm as she leads her to the station.

[Castaras]

Ferdir walks up to Castaras, lifting up her chin.

You had better watch your step. Enjoy your last hours of life in these cells. She'll come after you.

He shoves her out of the way, and walks off. Castaras makes as if to throw something at him, but stops.

[AmberVael]

Verdandi glares at him. Be careful of your step. She leads Castaras into the station.

[Rex Idiotarum]

The cops enter, Rex stumbling blindly behind them.

[Metis]

Mortessa enters behind, carrying Hitomi.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi was just dragged, hating that she was unable to move, the taste of Rex's blood still lingering on her tongue.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Okay, unstun the vampire, I want to hear what happened. You, help Rex with that wound."

One cop unstuns Hito, and a cleric attempts to heal Rex.
"It won't work, I'm manaburned. Just get me some gauss"

[Metis]

Mortessa glares over at Rex and doesn't offer to give him any energy at all, despite the fact she can.
Due to a great deal of mental stress and anxiety very related to Rex, I broke down and stabbed him the eye. Hitomi happens to be addicted to his blood, and she really did nothing to him.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi shook her head.
"No, I did everything. I did that to Rex." She gives Mortessa a level stare, obviously conveying she wasn't going to let the other woman get into any more trouble than she needed to be.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Mortessa?" Rex says as he hears her voice. But when Hitomi confesses. "No, Hito, this was Mortessa. She took the knife, she tried to kill me."

[Metis]

Mortessa sighs and looks at Hitomi.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi shook her head at the police.
"He's delusional. I did it."

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Toss Her" He points in a random direction where he thinks Mortessa is, "In the cell,"

He doesn't seem delusional, just blind. The officers acknowledge his command and attempt to take Mortessa to a Cell. "You have the right to a trial. Do you choose to wave this right?" Faries confiscate oll of her belongings. "Sir, check this out." They hand the lead officer the vial of blood.

Rex loses his balance and falls to the ground. "Did anyone grab my cane?"

For a split second, Hitomi seemed torn between seeing Mortessa and going to Rex.
Mortessa seemed more important at the moment, and she rushed over to her, trying to pull the gaurds away.

[Metis]

Mortessa coughs.
Excuse me, but if you'd leave my things alone...
She heads towards the cell.

[Rex Idiotarum]

Rex just sits there, trying to look around. "Fine, you're still here?"

[QueenOfMemnoch]

As Mortessa had already left, Hitomi sulked over to Rex, sitting down near him.
"What have you done to me?"

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Nothing beyond what you know." Rex sighs, accepting that he can't get away.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

"Which is, what, addicting me to your blood? Did it.." Hitomi stopped, unwilling to admit that much. Hell, she wasn't sure if that much was true.
"So, why have you stopped following me all of a sudden? Normally, you'd be going on and on about yourself if I asked this."

[Rex Idiotarum]

"I finally realized why I liked you, I thought you were someone else from home, I just realized that."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi's shoulder sagged, barely perceptible. Rex would not have been able to see it, as blind as he was.
"Well, then, you're just stupid. I could have told you from the beginning." At first, her voice was choked, but she slowly picked up her usual contemptuous tone of voice directed to him.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"The wonders of the Multiverse. I couldn't stand to loose you again, Marsarah. So I distanced myself from you."

[Metis]

Considering the nearness of the cells, Mortessa is probably listening to every word they say.

"I thought you said I wasn't her...and my name isn't Marsarah. Besides, I've been here forever, so I couldn't be her." Hitomi's voice was distant, cold.
Rex must have really been delusional.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"It was forever ago. I told you, the Multiverse is weird, and unoriginal there are copies everywhere. She was you to the core. Even hated my magics which I used to confuse her. We spent a fabulous night together, you know, that sweet, rough, rolling around in the blood of innocents type love. We spent a lot of time together, and eventually she was discovered, her relation to me as well for being the assassin I was, and she was terminated, there was nothing I could do. I figure subconsciously, this was my second chance. I think not, I'm sorry to have bothered you." He sits, staring at the ground which he could not see, being on the verge of tears which he could not cry. Pathetic.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi sat there, unable to say anything. Her mind could not fit around the concept...there was another her? And she had loved Rex?
Impossible.
"She can't be me if she loved you. I don't like men as anything other than food..."

[Rex Idiotarum]

"She thought that, at the beginning, of course, but I got through to her. It's why I was so set on the idea that you would come around. Although, she in that position, would've Ripped Mortessa's heart out at their first meeting, just to watch it beat."

[Metis]

Mortessa shivers.
Then she is not the same person.

Hitomi's hand twitched and some dim memory...
She had done the same thing before, infront of crowds. Mortessa's comment made her chuckle.
"Darling, you do not know me. Yes, I would never have done so to you, the one who calms me, but I have done so to others.." She shifted closer to Rex, watching blood dry on his face.
"You loved her, then?"

[Rex Idiotarum]

"My entire life has been set up to meeting her at least one more time, to just be able to hear her voice, to see her face, to just be here with her." He slumps down.

Gently, Hitomi reached her hand out to take his face into her grasp.
"You are not lying to me, manipulating me?"

[Metis]

One person or not, that's a difference, don't you see?
If that is what you would have done, if you were her... but you didn't. Not to me.
That alone makes you different.
Again, Mortessa seems to barely care that Hitomi would do something like that.
Oh yeah, and how long is my sentence?
She desperately tries to distract them.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"You're in for attempt murder at worst. I know if Hito and the officers held off any longer, I would've been dead. I'll talk to the chief in the morning though, as I'm off duty." Rex doesn't bother looking away. he knows that it won't make much difference. "Believe whatever you want to believe. I'm telling you what I know as the truth."

Hitomi had to get up on her knees to be able to whisper in Rex's ears.
"I'm not her." She tilted her head, licking the blood which was fast becoming dried.
She could not find any other way to avoid further talking.

[Metis]

Mortessa shudders at Hitomi's motion.
You know, there isn't such a law as attempted murder. You can charge me for battery, in which case I get bail.
She tries to tell herself, over and over and over again, that Hitomi can't help being attracted to blood.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Well, you want to help me find my cane?" Rex says, not looking at anything in particular, but instead he tilts his head to listen at things. He doesn't stop Hito, either. "Like I said, I'll let an active officer handle it."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

However, Hitomi ignored anything anyone said untill she had licked Rex's face clean of blood, and, then, she stood, looking down at him.
"I'll help you if you put me in Mortessa's place."

[Metis]

Mortessa attempts to get the attention of an NPC officer, as her player feels it would be far too cheap to control one.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"She attempted to kill me. And not in the 'She followed me so I drew a knife, ad attempted to stab her, so she tripped me' sort of way, I mean in the 'I don't have a @#$%in' left eye!' sort of way. I'd say let her rot in prision, but I'm sure Gentle Repose will prevent that."

"What is it?" So sayth thine NPC cop.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi turned to look at Mortessa.
"Yes, well, I know. But, I have this feeling it was my fault. Please, Rex." Her voice was pleading, begging. She rarely had to do that with anyone.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"If you're not going to help me, then go away." Rex says, solemnly.

[Metis]

Mortessa smiles thinly at the officer.
I never got a chance to pay the bail for my crime. Battery, as a standard, is 2,000 gold. I'd like to pay it.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

"I'll help you if you let me take Mortessa's place!" Hitomi growled down at Rex. Even after that, he was just a stubborn mutt.
"Here." She held out her hand for him, moving it enough so that he could most likely sense it was there.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"I am not going to let you take her place, and since I can't see, I really don't feel safe with her out there." He doesn't reach for her hand.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi sighed, leaning over to bap him gently on the head.
"She won't do anything else to you, I promise. C'mon, Rex."

[Metis]

I'll still have parole and a weapon restriction bracelet, and an opinion does not change the law and my rights, officer. I'm going to pay bail.
Mortessa crosses her arms and glares.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Fine, let her out on bail, but she has to stay outside of a hundred feet of me at all times." Rex says, giving into Hito.

The officer complies.

Hitomi dropped her hand and threw her arms around Rex's neck in a hug. Obviously, she was too overjoyed in winning to much care.
"Thank you." And, then, she remembered Mortessa and turned back with a grin.

[Metis]

You're no judge, Rex, and you aren't even an active police officer. You can't apply such restrictions.
It won't change the fact that I'll stay away willingly.
She gets her belongings and the bracelet, then goes over to Hitomi.
Lets get out of here.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Aright, get out of my sight." He says to Mortessa, then turns to Hitomi, "Help me to find that cane? Have I showed you my new home?"

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi gave an apologetic smile to Mortessa, wincing as she remembered the terms.
"I have to help him first, remember?"

[Rex Idiotarum]

Rex waits to hear Mortessa leave.

[Metis]

Mortessa coughs.
No, you don't have to help him. The officer carried out the law as he was supposed to, anything Rex said had nothing to do with it.
If you feel so compelled, hand the dog his cane and then come along.
She walks outside.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"You're a real bitch, you know that? Hammurabi says an Eye for an Eye, and you get out for just 2000 gold? Such justice. I'll just sit here on the ground until someone caring comes or until I die."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi sighed, bending down again to offer him her hand.
"You're lucky you told me that sob story, or I wouldn't have felt bad enough to help." As she thought over it, she added.
" I still don't think she's me, but whatever."

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Keep telling yourself that." he feels for Hitomi. "Now, You aren't just guiding me, I can't put pressure on my left leg, so I'll need your support."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Rolling her eyes, Hitomi complied, pulling his arm over her shoulder. Her height seemed to be perfect for such things, or, atleast, she thought so.
"Alright, mutt, lets go."

[Rex Idiotarum]

"He, and you're my seeing eye vampire?" He smiles at the thought. letting her guide him.

[QueenOfMemnoch]

"You want me to drop your pathetic arse right here? Cause I will." Even so, Hitomi pulled him along with ease. Apparently, his blood had already taken effect.

[Rex Idiotarum]

He hobbles along side her. "I was so looking forward to exploring my new home, too..."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

Hitomi shrugged, careful of Rex's arm.
"You actually got yourself a home?" She looked curiously to him, but quickly averted her eyes.

[Rex Idiotarum]

"Yeah, I saw it after coming out of the woods, I saw you, went away, my staff snapped, and there it was, the most beautiful thing ever. It welcomed me, too."

[QueenOfMemnoch]

"You saw me?" Hitomi felt a tinge of rage, but pushed it away.
"It welcomed you? How does a house welcome anyone?" They exited out onto the street.

[Rex Idiotarum]

Rex, of course, goes with her.
