Ythle nods and vanishes as well.

The old man finishes his ale and disappears too.

Lillah comes in and starts to perform. ((33 perform check. Got to go.))

Hawk walks in and *orders* an ale

[B-Man]

Konrad enters the Den and sits at a table, scanning the room like he was looking for someone.

[McBish]

Lillah stops performing and heads out the door and heads to Trog's.

[Ceika]

The sailor-looking gal steps in through the doors and heads for the bar, tossing a copper on the bar in front of her as she sits down.

Ale.

She downs the mug in one swift gulp and sets it back on the bar.

[Kyrian]

That's a pretty nice trick you pulled last night, Aly...

[Ceika]

She half-turns on her stool to see who is addressing her.

Trick? I don' deal in trick'n.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian stands in the doorway. You know what I mean.

[Ceika]

She seems to ponder it for a bit.

Sorry, han'some... can't say's I do...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles, and slowly takes a step closer to the bar. No recollection of how my clothes and money went missing?

[Ceika]

She shrugs and shakes her head, expressing no reaction to his question.

Naw. Should I 'ave?

[Kyrian]

You're an interesting person...mind if I sit here?

[Ceika]

She shrugs again.

Suit yers'lf.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sits. So..how are you doing today?

[Ceika]

She turns back to face the bar.

Fine.

[Kyrian]

You left kinda suddenly last night, just wanted to make sure. I mean no harm.

[Ceika]

She shrugs.

I's fine.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian pulls a pouch from a jacket pocket and slides it over to Aly. It's filled with gold and platinum. Take it if you'd like.

[Ceika]

She looks at the offering, a look of contempt creeping onto her features.

I don' wan yer pity. An I don' need yer gold.

She pushes the back back at him.

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you.

[Ceika]

She shrugs off the comment.

It don matt'r one way or 'noth'r.

[Kyrian]

So....the tide brought you here?

[Ceika]

Yeah... ye c'n say 'at.

[Kyrian]

A small green nose pokes around the door.

It smells horrible in here... wait...

"Kyrian?" he asks, trotting into the tavern.

[Ceika]

She shrugs.

Sure. If'n ya feels like talkin.

[Kyrian]

you were by far better than Ceika ever was..

Kratos?

[The_Librarian]

"These two big men with lightning took the nice druid lady! They were looking for you!" the cub blurts out hastily.

[Ceika]

She smiles slyly.

What c'n I say? I knows how to please a man.

[Kyrian]

Maybe we can have some fun again sometime...if you'd like...but I'm afraid I must be going now...

Kratos, go back to the librarian. I'll be back later.

[Ceika]

Suit yerself, han'some.

[The_Librarian]

"Will do." The cub dashes out of the bar.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian stands and leaves.

[Ceika]

She smiles as he leaves, the mutters under her breath.

I alwa's do.

She stands up, swiftly grabs the pouch that Kyrian left behind and hides it in her cloak, glancing around to make sure nobody's watching. Then she heads out into the streets again.

[Renrik]

A group of goblins enters a and orders ale, then sit in one corner and confer amongst themselves over a map.

[Lucky]

Traven gets up from the bar, waking up after a long nap. He shakes off the sleep and walks out the door.

[McBish]

Lillah comes in and start to perform. She does a lot of what she normaly does but also plays the flute this time. She plays quick songs that would be good to dance to. Her fingers flash on the flute as she shows her skill off.

Lillah finishes of her perfomance and sits down at the card tables. Several people give her odd looks as she does so, but several decied to try to test themselves against her. She plays for about 1/2 an hour and wins around 15 gold before everyone decieds to move on. She stands up and heads into the streets.

Lillah walks into the Den and starts to perform. She plays the lute, sings, and dances. She finishes and heads out towards Trog's.

[B-Man]

Konrad snaps to reality and orders another ale. He still seems to be looking for someone.

[Lucky]

Traven walks into the Den and begins to head for the back room, not paying attention to anything around him.

[B-Man]

Konrad notices Traven, but quickly returns to his drink.

[Lucky]

Traven enters the back for a bit, before exiting again and leaving the Den.

[B-Man]

Konrad gets up and leaves.

[Renrik]

The goblins leave, going back to their homes in the docks.

Bulzar walks in and takes a big sniff of the tavern
AAAAAhhhhhhhh. Its been a while since ive last been in here.

He sits down at the bar and orders an ale.

Traven walks out of the back rooms and heads out of the Den.

[Renrik]

Some goblins sit in a secluded corner of the pub, sketching out plans on a map, and bickering slightly in their native tongue. They drink only weak ale, and eat an order of stew with some of the weaker ale.

[McBish]

Lillah and Kyrian walk inside with pumpkinhead following them. Right now just sit at the bar. She says to Kyrian. You to Pumpkinhead. She heads into a back room.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sits, but gives Lillah a kiss before she goes to the back room.

[TheHawk]

Walks in. Glances at Daggernose, who scurries away to get his drink.

Looks at Kyrian
Hope you dont mind if I join you.

[McBish]

A minute later Lillah comes out of the room in her skin tight jester outfit. She smiles at Kyrian as she heads up on stage. She starts performing. Kyrian has never seen her perform like this, she starts out with juggling daggers while telling jokes that would make your mother blush. Then she starts to tumble stretching in very "interesting" ways. She ends her performance playing the lute and singing funny songs.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian is completely speechless.

[TheHawk]

Grins and shakes his head while taking his drink from Daggernose.

[McBish]

Lillah finishes up and heads down back towards Kyrian. There is much applause and learing.

[Kyrian]

...wow... Kyrian doesn't seem to find any words.

[McBish]

You liked it?

[Kyrian]

Of course I did. It...wow...

[McBish]

Surprise. She leans over and kisses him, there are several groans in the bar.

[TheHawk]

Walks over and begins playing pool with some goblins.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian wraps his arms around her and pulls her into his lap, kissing her.

[McBish]

Lillah kisses him back. She smiles at him. I'll take that as a good review.

[Kyrian]

Trust me...I've got an excellent review for you...

[McBish]

Hm... maybe we should head back home.

[Kyrian]

Maybe we should.

[McBish]

Right. Pumpkinhead go to my house and stay outside making sure no one breaks in. He mumbles and heads out the door.

[Kyrian]

Teleport us back to the belfry?

[McBish]

Sounds good to me.

[TheHawk]

Finishes beating the goblins and collects his money.

Then leaves. Without paying. Of course.

[Kyrian]

There are more groans as Kyrian pulls Lillah into another kiss, and they both vanish.

[AmberVael]

Vivian, cloaked and hooded, walks into the bar and sets a book in front of her. She waits for someone.
A man dressed darkly, and also mostly disguised, comes up and begins talking in a low voice. Vivian shakes her head and he reaches for a knife, only to find a sword at his throat. He snarls and drops a pouch on the table, while she opens her book and withdraws a small vial from a hidden compartment in the cover. She sets it on the table, scoops up the pouch, and waves him away, her sword still pointed at him.
He takes the vial and leaves. Vivian sheathes her sword calmly and counts the money in the pouch.

Thecla wanders in and looks around curiously

[Mik]

Mik walks in, still in hybrid form. His left arm hangs mostly limp at his side. Hey, cutie...

[wxdruid]

Oh hey, she tilts her head to the side curiously, what happened to you?

[Mik]

Ares attacked me.

[wxdruid]

Oh, that isn't very nice

[Mik]

Mik smiles. I know, and I wish you could have been there to see me. He reaches out to ruffle her ears.

[AmberVael]

Vivian looks at Mik and Thecla, then decides to linger in the back so she doesn't become obvious. She scoots back ever so slightly and watches.

Her tail starts to wag as she sniffs his feet.

[Mik]

Mik smiles down at the wolf. I think you would have been proud of me though, if you were there.

For getting attacked?

[Mik]

No cutie. For holding my own. He sent an army of shadows at me, and I took them all.

All of them, really? how many were there?

[Mik]

More than twenty. Maybe closer to thirty or fourty.

hm, nice, very nice. They can be hard to kill.

[Mik]

Yes, but so much fun when done properly.

hm, well I'm ready to leave here, as she heads for the door.

Mik follows her. Where to?

Vivian leaves a short time later.

Vivian steps inside and takes a seat, looking around a bit warily.

[Kyrian]

Remy enters and takes a seat with Vivian. "You ok?"

[AmberVael]

I'm fine, Remy. Just keep on yer guard. This place ain't the nicest.

[Kyrian]

"Ok." Remy looks around at the other patrons.

[AmberVael]

Vivian joins him and then swears softly as she sees someone.

[Kyrian]

"Problems?"

[AmberVael]

Maybe. Depends on what kinda mood he's in.
She is carefully watching a man in red smoke jacket.

[Kyrian]

Remy subtlely(sp?) watches the man as well.

[AmberVael]

He looks over and notes the attention he is getting and smirks. He does not do anything.

[Kyrian]

Remy looks at Vivian. "Care for a drink."

[AmberVael]

That'd be good.

[Kyrian]

"What'd you like, cheri?"

[AmberVael]

Rum.
She keeps her eyes on the man.

[Kyrian]

Remy nods at Vivian and orders two rums. He pays for them and hands one over.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles and takes one.

[Kyrian]

"So, you were right, as you usually seem to be." Remy smiles at her.

[AmberVael]

Hm? About what?

[Kyrian]

"This being....different." Remy smiles.

[AmberVael]

She nods as two NPCs go up for a knife fight.

[Kyrian]

"Hm...these knife fights any good."

[AmberVael]

Depends on who is in it...
She looks over the two fighters and gets a grin on her face. She calls over to the man in the red jacket.
Fancy on a wager?
He smirks at her.
Why would I wager with someone in debt to me?
Ya know I'm payin' it back.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches the man, wondering what happened to cause Vivian to be in debt.

[AmberVael]

He considers the two.
I'll wager two ta your one, me favorin' tha little wiry guy.
He weighs them in his mind.
And the stakes?
She drops a fair sized bag of coins on her table.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches Vivian.

[AmberVael]

The man looks at the bag.
I will deduct an appropriate amount from your debts. Is that fair?
She nods.
I accept.
Vivian turns away, hiding a large grin.

[Kyrian]

"Now cheri...are we using psionics to help us again?" Remy grins at her.

[AmberVael]

Vivian bites her lip, holding back laughter.
That guy I bet on ain't no random knife fighter.

[Kyrian]

"Oh really?" Remy raises an eyebrow.

[AmberVael]

Vivian makes sure her head is turned away from the man as she grins at Remy.
I think its Earin. He fights here every once in a while.

[Kyrian]

"Now cheri, don't you think that's wrong to take the man's money like that?" Remy's grin shows he's completely ok with it.

[AmberVael]

Ain't my fault. E'eryone knows Earin does this kinda thing just ta keep people on their toes while bettin'.

The two knife fighters circle each other, then Bob the random NPC knife fighter lunges at 'Earin' and slices a neat cut along his side. the man in the red jacket smirks.

[Kyrian]

"Hey, I'm in complete agreement with the cheating this guy. Hell, if I were playing cards with him, my deck would be so stacked...." Remy keeps grinning.

[AmberVael]

Best ta play mostly fair... if he finds out he's been cheated, it ain't pretty. Or he jest leeches yer money away, like me.

Bob presses the attack, scoring another hit on 'Earin.'

[Kyrian]

"Ah." Remy watches the fight.

[AmberVael]

The man in the smoke jacket leans back, smiling as Bob cuts 'Earin' a few more times. Bob lunges foward with a hard hitting blow.
Vivian begins to looks worried.

[Kyrian]

"This isn't looking good."

[AmberVael]

No it ain't.
Bob jabs the second fight in the side, then pulls back for another strike. The red jacketed man grins, then frowns as Bob jabs nothing and gets hit four times in the back by thrown daggers. Earin stands behind him, smirking as his wounds close over. He shakes his left hand and five, slim bladed daggers fan out.
"Had enough of games? You're winning too often for my liking."

[Kyrian]

"And then the stakes turn?"

[AmberVael]

Earin likes dramatics. I think he's jest crazy, but hey, as long as he wins.
The man in the red jacket groans and puts a hand on his head.
Bob backs up, then shudders a each of the five daggers makes impact, one each limb and the fifth in his chest. He keels over and Earin takes his daggers back and gives him a healing potion.
Vivian chuckles.

[Kyrian]

"So, I'm not sure, but didn't we just win?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian nods.
He went overkill, big time.
Earin bows and then finds himself confronted by someone else. He shrugs and draws out his knives.
I'll bet again and reverse the odds, Vivian.
Vivian raises an eyebrow.
Yer on.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches, a little worried.

[AmberVael]

Earin backs off, calculating the potential strengths and weaknesses of his new opponent, who simply stands in a relaxed pose at the edge of the ring, swathed entirely in black.

[Kyrian]

"So wait, we're betted against Earin now?"

[AmberVael]

No, he only changed the odds, not the combatants. Now instead of me paying him twice if I lose, he pays twice if he loses.
Earin springs foward, striking out quickly with a dagger, but the man simply blurs aside.

[Kyrian]

"Ah..." Remy notice the blur, "...but THAT can't be good."

[AmberVael]

Earin'll get him.

Earin circles a little, smiling, then jabs out with two daggers. The man parries one with a dagger and dodges the other, again with incredible speed. Earin just grins wider.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches with interest.

[AmberVael]

The man finally attacks back, but Earin is already gone and strikes him once in the back, just barely hitting him before he leaps out of the way in a movement that defies both gravity and physics in general.

[Kyrian]

Remy gives a slight smile.

[AmberVael]

The man recovers instantly from his odd leap and looks over his cut. He nods once, then finally attacks in a whirlwind of dagger strikes. Earin blocks a few, gets hit with a couple and then just shadow jumps away.

[Kyrian]

Remy continues to watch amazed. "Any idea on this one's outcome?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian watches, her eyes gleaming.
No idea, but I don' really care.

Earin flicks his wrist and throws a trio of daggers at the man, who deflects two and catches one instantly and throws it back. Earin grins and catches it.
"You're good."

[Kyrian]

"Um..ok." Remy keeps watching.

[AmberVael]

The cloaked man spins and flings a single dagger at Earin, who deflects it only to get struck by something invisible. He staggers, then shadowjumps at the man and strikes out with both hands.

Vivian raises an eyebrow.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches, completely interested.

[AmberVael]

The man is struck by one, but he snatches Earin's hand and spins him around, putting a dagger to his throat only to get stabbed from behind as the ninja shadow jumps again.
"Don't try that move."

[Kyrian]

Remy keeps watching

[AmberVael]

A trail of blue energy follows the man as he twists and slices with with two dagger attacks. Earin dodges one, but the other pierces his side. However, Earin neatly trips his opponent with his foot and slips a dagger next to his throat.
"I win. You were a worthy opponent though."

[Kyrian]

Remy turns back to Vivian and smiles.

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles at the man in the red jacket, and he shrugs.
Still plenty more to go.
She sighs.

Earin teleports away, while the newcomer sits at the bar.

[Kyrian]

"You know, I could help. But I understand if you want to do this yourself."

[AmberVael]

Well, I guess... if you wanted.

[Kyrian]

"I'm talking about paying the debt. And I won't do it if you don't want that."

[AmberVael]

I know what we are talking about, Remy. I won't ask you to do this.

[Kyrian]

Remy reaches out to lay a gentle hand on Vivian's cheek. "Would you ask me not to? It really means nothing to me, while you mean much."

[AmberVael]

Vivian sighs.
Its my debt, Remy. I ain't goin' to ask anyone ta take it fer me. But if ya really want to...

[Kyrian]

"Vivian..." Remy looks her in the eye.

[AmberVael]

Vivian looks at him calmly.

[Kyrian]

"You mean the world to me, and if you really don't mind, I will gladly take this debt from you."

[AmberVael]

Vivian smiles at him.
If ya want to, Remy.

[Kyrian]

"I do, cheri. How much is it?"

[AmberVael]

Vivian cringes.
A hundred platinum.

[Kyrian]

Remy gently strokes her cheek with his thumb, smiling at her. Reaching into his jacket with his free hand, Remy pull out a pouch, and puts it in front of Vivian.

[AmberVael]

Vivian looks at him, startled, then picks up the bag and looks inside.

[Kyrian]

There's a hundred platinum inside.

[AmberVael]

Vivian gives him an incredulous look.
How much money do ya have?
She sounds almost awed and disbelieving

[Kyrian]

"As much as I need."

[AmberVael]

Vivian just seems stunned, then hesitantly gets up and goes over to the man in the red jacket.

[Kyrian]

Remy smiles, and hopes that he made the right choice.

[AmberVael]

Vivian says something quietly and the man smirks, then his eyes bulge at the sight of the pouch. He takes it and quickly leaves without a word.

[Kyrian]

Remy watches.

[AmberVael]

Vivian comes back over to Remy and hugs him.

Remy holds Vivian and kisses her cheek.

Vivian smiles at him, then it widens to a grin.
I wish I'da know you had that kinda money sooner.

"You never asked." Remy grins right back at her.

She smiles at him, her eyes wide and pleading.

After a moment she pulls away and grins.

I think I heard 'bout this place that sells everything. Wanna go find out if its tha truth?

Remy grins at her. "That sounds like a plan, cheri."

She takes his hand and stands, then leads him out the door.

Remy just keeps smiling as he's led.

[Lucky]

A small, caped figure walks in, dragging a box about the size of him behind him. Blackeye walks up to the figure. "What can I do for you, sah?" The small man turns and studies Blackeye before flashing his fangs. Hold sstill... he says as he lauches himself at Blackeye, latching onto his neck and draining him of most of life force. Blackeye lies unconcious on the ground as the figure drags his box into the Shadow Depths, going through the door in the back.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian and Lillah appear inside The Den.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles, Got to go change. She heads into a back room.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian kisses her. I'll be right here at the bar.

[McBish]

Lillah comes out in her jester's outfit. She starts her performance with juggling daggers, occasionally droping one, seemingly without noticing, and it falls almost hitting her feet. As she is juggling she tells jokes. Then she starts to do a comedic magic act. Stuff like trying to pull a rabbit out of a top hat but having the rabbit sitting on top of her head without her noticing. Then she ends the show playing the lute and singing. Then she heads to the bar and sits down next to Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian smiles at Lillah. That was good.

A drunk stumbles over and looks at Lillah. You sure are good at performing, pretty lady.

[McBish]

Thank you. And thank you my good sir. Maybe you can buy me a drink. She says with a smile.

[Kyrian]

Maybe I could buy you a room instead....with me. The others at the man's table howl with laughter. Kyrian gives a low growl.

[McBish]

Lillah turns to Kyrian and gives him a smile saying to let her handle this. Then turns back to the man. Tempting offer, but I'm afraid I'm taken. She gives a smile telling the man to leave it alone.

[Kyrian]

I wasn't really giving you a choice woman! The man reaches out, grabbing for Lillah's arm.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles as she raises a knee into the mans groin. In her other hand a knife pops into her hand. Stupid move stupid man.

[Kyrian]

The man falls, and tries to swing a fist at Lillah, although he's seriously weakened by the blow.

The table of men stand and start to draw their weapons.

Sure you got this? Kyrian whispers.

[McBish]

Lillah expecting the punch manages to block it and the cuts at the mans arm. I got him and I bet Gnarl has the others.

[AmberVael]

Gnarl growls and moves over to the table, pulling out his harpoon.

[Kyrian]

Ah, well, I'll help Gnarl. Kyrian stands and draws both Colts, aiming at the men standing with weapons drawn. I'd think twice before your next move, and I'm willing to bet that Gnarl agrees with me.

The man cries out as his arm is cut, and being drunk, falls down and cries about it.

[AmberVael]

You can pay for your drinks, or you can pay for hospital expenses AND the drinks. Which'll it be?
Gnarl taps his harpoon on his other hand.

[McBish]

Really now can't we all just get along. Why don't you boys take your friends and go. She says to the table of men.

[Kyrian]

With grunts and growls the men leave inadequate payment on the table and drag their friend out of the tavern.

Kyrian sighs and sits back down.

[TheHawk]

Walks in and blinks at the drawn weapons and the men making a hasty retreat.

Did I miss something?

Grabs a drink from Daggernose.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles and reachs out for Kyrian's hand. No not really, just a guy who got a little to grabby.

[AmberVael]

Gnarl makes a note to exact payment from them the next time he sees them.
It won't be gold.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian takes Lillah's hand and gives her a kiss.

[Lucky]

((How do four people miss the fact there is an unconcious goblin... oh right, it's a goblin. Carry on.))

Grins Darn, I so hate it when they do that. I assume you took care of it.

[McBish]

Kyrian squeezes Lillah's hand.

[McBish]

Lillah squeezes back and makes her dagger disappear.

They'll learn sooner or later.

Lillah laughs, No they won't there will always be drunks that get a little to grabby.

Would you like a drink, beautiful?

[McBish]

No that is ok, I don't trust the drinks in this place. She gives a smile.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gives a small laugh and kisses Lillah.

That's a good idea. I found a dead rat in a drink once. Examines his drink.

[McBish]

Lillah smiles and sits with her back to the bar. I've found drugs that knocked you out cold in a drink here once.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian wraps an arm around Lillah's waist.

Well it keeps life interesting.

Lillah smiles but you can tell that she isn't remembering a plesent experinence.

[Kyrian]

[McBish]

Yeah I'm fine. Want to leave?

Sasic sees the sign, grins crazily, and saunters in. "Give me the strongest drink you have and a steak of some kind," she tells the barman, and sits down.

Daggernose nods at the newcomer. Yessir, I'll get righ' on it. He pours out a mug-full of some sort of booze from one of the kegs before shouting into the back room. Eh! One steak! He turns back to the customer. Ya new 'ere?

Oh gee, I nearly forgot about that letter from Traven... Daggernose walks outside with a poster under his arm, and plasters it up on the wall.

Svala and Romulus enter the Den, and Svala begins to gamble while Romulus looks on. Svala wins very consistently.

Romulus gives a small laugh.

"Good thing I decided to believe you."

Very good thing. Svala eyes the increasingly disgruntled gamblers. I think we might want to leave now...

[Romulus]

Romulus offers a hand to help Svala up.

"Might be a good idea."

Svala takes his hand and gets to her feet, her other hand on her pouch of winnings.

Romulus leads her towards the door.

They make it outside without getting anything more than grumbles.

Sasic gulps her drink and wolfs down her steak. Then she turns into an actual black dragon and flies away.

Fenix comes inside and goes to a back table- one where Vael had come with a ruby so long ago. He sits down at it and looks at his hands, considering what all had changed since he last sat here.
He goes into meditation.
