I've thought of something and I wondering if it is legal by RAW?

Activate Rage as a free action.
Initiate Full-Round Action of Demoralizing all enemied in 30' area via Dazzling Display.
Deactivate Rage as a free action.
Cast a Quickened spell as a swift action to activate my Dreadful Wrath to Extend the legenth of the cowering from Imperious command to one minute for everyone in 20'.

(Rage because I add my str to Intimidate checks).

Dazzling Display is a spell or spell-like ability, I'm assuming?
You can't use those while raging.

It is a feat, and can be used with rage.

Its a PF feat, as far as I know, might be good to add what system is being used.

Yes it is pathfinder, but my actual question still stands. Is this legal to do?

Hmm. I can't remember whether one can enter and then leave rage in the same round. That seems to be the main thing. Only thing I can think of other than that is that it's up to the DM to decide what the free action cap per round is.

Pretty sure it should be legal, unless useing Dazzeling Display counts as "any ability that requires patience or concentration"

Keep in mind your rage-burst would leave you fatigued, but otherwise it looks RAW-solid, I think.

It doesn't seem like a very good idea considering the post-rage fatigue and the fact you can only rage once per encounter, but it looks legal to me.

Fatigue is easy to get rid of:

* Warforged.
* Horizon Walker.
* Potions of Lesser Restoration.
* Tireless regional feat (Player's Guide to Faerun p. 46)
* Wand of Ray of Resurgence (Lost Empires of Faerun)
* Icewild Lichen Paste (Secrets of Sarlona p. 138)
* Boots of the Unending Journey (MIC p. 79), requires True Believer feat.
* Sphere of Awakening (MIC p. 186) cures fatigue 1/day.
* Talisman of Undying Fortitude (MIC p. 188) cures a bunch of things 2/day.
* Heavy Legs graft (Faiths of Eberron p. 158).

Was rage ever changed to be a swift action instead of a Free action?

Dont have PF rules, but from a 3.5 standpoint it explicitly states that entering a rage "takes no time itself" (free action) but does not state what type of action ending the rage is.

Ending is a free action in PF. This is technically legal.

If Free Actions are defined in PF like they are in 3.5

Free Action: Free actions consume a very small amount of time and effort. You can perform one or more free actions while taking another action normally. However, there are reasonable limits on what you can really do for free.

Then the DM, by RAW can set his/her own "reasonable limits" and make it unlegal.

Isn't there a feat or ACF that allows casting during a rage?

Class. Rage Mage [Complete Warrior] to be specific. And yes, it's extremely poor.

even for the one level dip for being able to cast in a rage? (I think you lose a caster level) If I were a barbarian/ wizard, I'd feel like I was gaining something if I could use both my class features at the same time instead of choosing one or the other...
