I'm playing a wild shape specializing druid, and wondering what items would be best. I think I remember seeing something that raises the HD cap of your forms, but I have no idea where. Help?

Vestment of the Beast or whatever from Complete Champion is a set that increases your Wildshape level by 1. Others are obviously any basic AC and offensive buffs (though you can mostly handle those with spells) you're interested in such as Monk's Belt or Wild Armor (both PHB) with Wilding Clasps as necessary, and obviously stat boosters.

Maybe Metarods of Extend; they're never useless. Chain is also an option. And Caster Level Buffs (Orange Prism Ioun Stone comes to mind). Oh, and Beads of Karma, again from the DMG. Wilding Clasped Belt of Battle [MiC] isn't a bad idea either.

There's a cape from somewhere that makes Wild Shaping a swift action. Forget the name, but I think it has the word "Mantle" in it.

Mantle of the Beast, part of the Beast Set from Complete Champ.

Mouthpick property(+1 bonus equivalent, Lords of Madness) on the exotic , preferably 2-handed, weapon of your choice + the sizing property(flat 5K gp, Magic Item Compendium) will allow you to wield the weapon with proficiency in whatever form you adopt that has a bite attack, allowing iterative attacks in conjunction with natural weapon attacks.

A monk's belt if you have good wisdom, otherwise one of the two armor properties that lets you benefit from it while in animal form. Can't remember both names, but I think one is just called Beastskin.

Druid (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19868802/Druid_Handbook_revived) Handbooks (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=1354.0) and Master of Many Forms Bible (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19528526/updated_Master_of_Many_Forms_Bible__official_wild_ shape_rules) are good places to look for some general recommendations for gear.

Wilding clasps + Magic Item Compendium item stacking rules are practically a necessity.
