Well, I have played Exalted...

Did you mean in D&D?

There's always Nobilis, too. I mean, where else can the divine essence of wrestling steal something from a blackhole by putting it into a full Nelson?

I'm just about to start a (3.5) Divine Rank4, Level40Gestalt game on these forums.

Yeah, I personally love em. Many do not though. They often have a DM that doesn't know how to properly challenge them or they themselves don't like the challenges that gods tend to face (more moral roleplay and such rather than combat challenges.)

Hey, you don't (usually) play as deities in Exalted. You play as people who routinely can punk dieties, but not by default deities.

Anyway, I have played games with the PCs as gods, but I've never used divine ranks or the like in doing so. Is that what you mean?

Also keep in mind you don't need to be ranger 20/druid 20//wizard 20/cleric 20 to be a divine rank god. You can come up with a plot reason why you've been weakened down to say, lvl 20 divine rank 1. Or even start the game at lvl 1 and be divine rank 0. Make it all about trying to get worshippers and power and such and ascend the ranks.
