Aoskar's Rotting Caress (Su) Claw—injury; save Fort DC 53; onset immediate; frequency special (see text); effect 1d6 Con damage; cure special (see text). The save DC is Charisma-based.

Unlike normal diseases, Aoskar's rot requires a victim to make a successful saving throw every round or take an additional 1d6 points of Con damage. The rot continues until the victim reaches Con 0 or receives remove disease. An afflicted creature that dies shrivels away into sand unless both remove disease and raise dead are cast on the remains within 1d3 rounds. Failure to treat the remains means that on the third round, the dust swirls and forms an 18 HD mummy with the dead foe's equipment under Aoskar's control.

Despair (Su) Aoskar's body is pierced with many great slashing blades, the physical evidence of his deplorable fall from grace. This mournful vision evokes extreme despair in creatures within a 300 ft. radius. Creatures within this area must succeed against a DC 53 Will save or be paralysed with fear for 1d4 rounds. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Door Sight (Su) Aoskar can lay his hand upon any surface and see what is on the other side. Using this power takes 1 minute, during which time he must be touching the surface he wants to see through. He can keep looking for as long as 10 minutes with each use of this power, but must touch the surface and take no other actions the entire time.

Lore Keeper (Sp) Aoskar can touch a creature to learn about its abilities and weaknesses. With a successful touch attack, he gains information as if he made the appropriate Knowledge skill check (DC 56).

Remote Viewing (Sp) Aoskar can use clairvoyance/clairaudience at will as a spell-like ability (caster level 33th).

Spell-Like Abilities At will — astral projection, chain lightning, comprehend languages, detect thoughts, dimension door, discern location, displacement, divination, expeditious retreat, find the path, fly, foresight, haste, knock, greater dispel magic, legend lore, locate object, passwall, scrying, greater teleport, phase door, speak with dead, true seeing, unholy aura, weird; 1/day — ruin. Caster level 33th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Undead Traits Aoskar is immune to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms, bleed, death effects, disease, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning. Aoskar is immune to any effect that requires a Fort save (unles the effect also works on objects or is harmless), he is not at risk of death from massive damage, but is immediately destroyed when reduced to 0 hit points. Aoskar is not subject to nonlethal damage, ability drain, or energy drain. He is immune to damage to his physical ability scores, as well as exhaustion and fatigue effects.

Hmm.

I like the idea, generally. A few remarks, though:

Why medium size? Aoskar's carcass is huge. Is there a fluff reason for this?
Also, "Undead God" seems to scream Abomination (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/abomination.htm) to me, especially on an epic creature. He already has quite a few of the immunities from his undead type, but they help.
He's an epic undead. That means he needs some kind of turn resistance, or outright immunity, beyond having a lot of hit points, or the next sun cleric coming along will blast him to oblivion (or back to the astral, I guess, since he'll generally be projecting).
Then: he has a few feats I don't think I've ever heard of. Mind telling me where they are from? I don't think I know Tiring critical and a few others in that list.
Finally, if there's ever been a creature that should be able to cast Gate, it's Aoskar. And yet, he doesn't even have planeshift. What's up with that?Has he lost these powers?

And as an side: I've been meaning to say that for some time, but you really have the best avatar on thsi forum.

To me, the name "uncrowned king" at least sounds like it would be a Herald... which would require it to be a CR 15 creature...

Thanks kindly :)

You have a good point in that his Astral carcass is huge (IIRC, Planescape supplements mentioned that the githyanki established settlements on his catatonic form?); well, his carcass was probably huge.
After his revivification, his size probably shrank to the point of resembling his original humanoid shape. What are your thoughts on giving him access to Alter Size (as per the salient ability)?

Also, "Undead God" seems to scream Abomination (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/abomination.htm) to me, especially on an epic creature. He already has quite a few of the immunities from his undead type, but they help.

Well, I've actually tried to avoid the abomination subtype in this case. While he is still relatively powerful, far has the mighty fallen and in his diminishment, he may have experienced more than the loss of his divinity.

He's an epic undead. That means he needs some kind of turn resistance, or outright immunity, beyond having a lot of hit points, or the next sun cleric coming along will blast him to oblivion (or back to the astral, I guess, since he'll generally be projecting).

This vivified Aoskar hopefully has a CR that reflects his weakened state. He has arisen, but in a form that shunts out divinity and energy rather than contains it. After a period of consolidating and shoring up power, he may advance to the degree of which he was.

The Uncrowned King hopefully also reflects the deplorable reality in which he finds himself in. He is now against everything he once represented and personified, preferring instead to destroy and smash portals rather than further the exploration of the planes.

Then: he has a few feats I don't think I've ever heard of. Mind telling me where they are from? I don't think I know Tiring critical and a few others in that list.

Sure thing, mate.
Bleeding Critical (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#bleeding-critical), Critical Focus (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#critical-focus), Greater Vital Strike (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#greater-vital-strike), Improved Vital Strike (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#improved-vital-strike), Intimidating Prowess (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#intimidating-prowess), Magical Aptitude (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#magical-aptitude), Sickening Critical (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#sickening-critical), Stand Still (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#stand-still), Strike Back (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#strike-back), Tiring Critical (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#tiring-critical), Vital Strike (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/feats.html#vital-strike)

Hope that helps!

Finally, if there's ever been a creature that should be able to cast Gate, it's Aoskar. And yet, he doesn't even have planeshift. What's up with that?Has he lost these powers?

I've actually been thinking about this. I had envisioned that these especial powers to Aoskar were ones that the Lady of Pain, as punishment for Aoskar's real and perceived transgressions against Her, stripped Aoskar of his innate ability to cast gate and planeshift.
I would like to see it returned, but at a much reduced level. What do you think?

 Thank you very much, sir
