View Full Version : (3.5e) Time to Equip my PC...Again

As much as I love making new characters and planning out my feats for each level, I always dread buying equipment. Even at low levels, I agonize over each little item and question if that's really the best use of my gold.

So, my question is this: What is the easiest/fastest way to equip a PC that still results in a well-rounded and playable character (i.e. no just spending all of your gold on one or two really good items)?

And, on a related note, is there a good website for this, perhaps with a nice list of starting packages for various levels (the ones generated by WotC tend to suck/not use most sources)?

Use the alternate rules in MiC: pick two items of each level, form starting level right down to 1. Easy, fast and balanced. They even have a list of items by level near the end of the book.

I can't believe I missed that. Thanks!
