I was just wondering if there was an easy way to optimize it.

Grab the skill (factotum or expert dip with able learner, human paragon), get an appropriate weapon (quickrazor), use the usual tricks to flat-foot the targets (pearls, grease, SNB, winning initiative).

Could also boost Cha and dip Iaijutsu Master.

or 1 level of human paragon.

I do believe I pointed that out already:

Grab the skill (factotum or expert dip with able learner, human paragon)I'd be sorely tempted to grab Able Learner even with the Human Paragon dip. Freely picking any 10 skills as class skills is pretty sweet.

Aereni Focus also works for getting it as a class skill.
Also, I really think Iaijutsu Master is worth it. The free surprise round is a very, very good ability to have.

The free surprise round is a very, very good ability to have.I'm not sure I'd go the whole 10 levels for that, since it only works if you start the combat next to an enemy. Most situations where that could be used, you'd get the surprise round anyhow.

5 levels if a decent drop-off point, IMO.

There is also One Strike Two Cuts for all the three non-pouncers out there.

There is also One Strike Two Cuts for all the three non-pouncers out there. It's okay if you're not using Pounce, normal full attacks or martial maneuvers. Requires two empty levels to get though.

The Skill Knowledge feat from Unearthed Arcana is the really easy way that doesn't lose you any levels of Warblade or dictate your race for you.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I really don't like resorting to Eberron, and UA is a lot easier to swallow.

It's worth pointing out that technically this feat is only intended for use with the alternate skill system presented in UA...

There's also Cosmopolitan, in Faerun. Pick one skill and it's always a class skill, and you get a +2 bonus on it.

It's worth noting that this is the 3.0 Cosmopolitan. 3.5's is different.

Aereni Focus from Eberron works, though. Sadly, elf-only.

There is Flexible Mind from Dragon Magazine 326.
Requires chatoic alignment, choose two skills you have ranks in. Both are now in-class and get a +1 bonus. Additionally you get a chaotic aura.

Oh? What changed, roughly? I don't think the 3.0 version is particularly unbalanced.. maybe even a bit weak.

Uh, honestly I forget since I metaphorically chucked my Forgotten Realms stuff in the fire. But I think it forces you to get Diplomacy and something else specific as class skills, or something. It's in the PGtF.

Could be nice leading into Eternal Blade.
