So, I recently noticed the Shadow Jaunt line of maneuvers from Tome of Battle require both line of sight and line of effect. Even though it has the teleportation subtype, it looks more like superspeed than an actual teleport. So, it behaves exactly like shunpo/flash step (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FlashStep), isn't it?

-ahem-

In my day, we called it Zanzoken.

And that was my first thought upon seeing them, too, as well as how I usually flavor it.

I typically use them as more of a jump substitute. Suddenly you're on the other side of a chasm. Suddenly you're hanging from the ceiling (spider climb is great).

Madness! Zanzoken leaves an afterimage, eveyrone knows it's Flee the Scene. :smalltongue:
