The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

Cain grabs the torch from the wall and opens the door slowly, watching down the corridor for movement or anything out of the ordinary.

Opening the door reveals a corridor to the south.

After 5', there's a split east.

After 25', there's a split east.

After 35', the corridor ends in a T-junction.

The corridor is 5' wide, and unlit.

Carefully, While scanning the corridor and the upcoming turn, Cain peeks his head around the corner of the first split off from the corridor. (The first east split corridor).
Though I know the light from my torch will attract unwanted eyes... I'll make the checks anyway.

This corridor extends further than the eye can see.

After 10', there's a north/south split.

After 30', there's a door north.

With careful steps, watching the corridor ahead, Cain moves East to the North/South Intersection and looks down both, insuring he is in no danger before moving on.

The corridor in both directions turns right after 20'.

After 15' south, there's a door east.

To the east, there's another north/south split 40' after this one. Still no end in sight.

when you say the corridor turns right after 20 feet, you mean that the corridor turns are at the 25 foot mark total, right? Such as, when you say "after 20 feet theres a door," you mean the door is a total of 25 feet away correct?
I'm just trying to clarify. I'm trying to map the place out as I go and.. .well... :smalleek:

20', actually.

Climbing out can be done by anyone with more than a -15 modifier to climb, or -5 for the Small chars..

With my health renewed and a little more caution, I continue to the door I was headed for earlier, taking 10 on my search checks for traps. (For a total of 15)

In the room there is an ugly looking, blue scaled, lizard thing with fire in it's mouth!

Oh. Well, I meant as in I wasn't walking in unprepared... you can ready actions? 0_0** something tells me I wasn't prepared to take this on.

Edit: I went first. I'm assuming I was on the other side of the Door at A5, so in the theoretical A6.

um... wow. I guess I'll try casting Ray of Enfeeblement on it.

EDIT: Yes you can.

You enfeeble it. It doesn't care. It breathes fire at you.

[roll0] fire damage, halved, reflex for 1/4, but minimum 1 unless you have evasion at L1 magically...

If you take damage, you're entangled in sticky fire for [roll1] rounds.

Okay, so. It shot Fire at me. I was able to ready my move action to shut the door. Can I shut the door before the attack hits me?

same character? Uhhhhhhhh, no. 0_0** I don't think that this character can pull this off. If this dungeon is as hard as it seems... I'm gonna need more firepower.
