Okay. I decided to open up Eberron books, and looked at Alchemist. However, I cannot see why alchemist is so darned great, and with its two major PrCs, Rogue Mastermaker and Alchemical Savant, it seems limited to abilites. Am I missing somethin?

Do you mean Artificer?

Once they get started, Artificers get to play with the entire list of items which exist in your world. Including scrolls/wands of any spell which amuses them, including those which appear on specialised lists at an earlier than normal level. Oh, and they can create items (including scrolls et all) 2 levels earlier than a normal caster would be able to cast them. Therefore they are at least as powerful as a wizard, as long as their money holds out.

At low levels they can't reliably make UMD checks and may actually be a bit weak, but that won't last long.

If you want an actual Alchemist, grab a copy of Magic of Faerun. Master Alchemist PrC with a few "make it cheaper" feats thrown in... is a full caster that can eventually brew 9th level spells into potions.

Alchemist is also a pathfinder class.

So . . . what exactly do you want out of a PrC that those two (or the base class) aren't providing? Maybe we can find something.
