Sorcerer focusing in _

Well i'm planning to make a sorcerer. But not one who just fires off damage spells. While I do plan on taking fireball, and the basics, I'd more like to go for a build focusing in lots of Save or Suck spells. Im not sure really how to do this. Any ideas such as feats, spells, etc would be appreciated.
Books allowed are- PH,DMG,CW,CadV,CD,CA, Lb, Drc.

Hey yo. Take a look at this (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2180.0)thread: should have all you need. I personally approve of it, and use it all the time. (Plus I generally bother Solo IRL if I need help on a sorceror, since I live near him.)
