Belkar's death notwithstanding, both Xykon and Tarquin have suggested that certain OOTS opponents come back and fight them in about ten years. I am trying to imagine ten years worth of OOTS plotline without Belkar.

The Giant estimated that roughly two weeks had passed (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8569129#post8569129)since Roy had made the 7 weeks comment. This was around Strip 725 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0725.html), just after Haley, Elan, and V first meet Tarquin.

I think one or two days have passed since then, so it has still been less than 3 weeks since Roy's comment.

It's possible that the Oracle follows the southern calender, which means that it's up to a few months (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0302.html) until Belkar is dead, aside from the weeks Roy and Haley estimated.

2.) The Oracle is using the Southern calendar in his prediction to Roy. Meaning that the "seven weeks" Roy talks about is the time until the new New Year, exactly one year from the celebration seen back in Azure City.
