Help: playing in a really tough game (3.5)

Its 10/10 gestalt. So far I'm going to do a DMM persist cleric on one side (pretty good at melee). What would go best on the other?

Cleric using DMM: Persist can be a strong passive or active side.

If you'd like more active choices, consider levels in swordsage from the Tome of Battle. That will get you maneuvers and Wis synergy. Shame about the 3/4 BAB but I assume you are persisting Divine Power so whatever.

For a more support class, consider Incarnate from Magic of Incarnum. The system is a little tricky to learn, but it provides flexible passive boosts to almost anything you want to do.

You could also take levels in Monk and then something else for evasion, all good saves, and Wis to AC. Don't take more than about Monk 2 though.
