D&D 3.5- Control Weather into a Ranged Spread

Is there a way I can change Control Weather's range from a 2-mile-radius circle centered on you to a 2-mile-radius circle with some kind of range, like 'long' or '10,000 feet'?

Sculpt Spell would allow to you place any of its allowed areas anywhere within two miles. But those areas are much smaller.

2 levels of Arcane Archer (Imbue Arrow) and really tricked out bow (Dragonbone Composite Greatbow of Distance + Guided Shot spell + Bracers of Archery if you don't want to waste a feat on EWP + Far Shot feat + maybe 3 levels of Cragtop Archer if you can fit it in or if your playing gestalt). Also Arcane Archer decreases the casting time down to 1 standard action (Imbue Arrow) instead of 10 minutes.

Also consider picking up the feat Invisible Spell. For a +0 metamagic you could have an invisible tornado or blizzard. :smalltongue:
