Wildshape and beasts

I was looking at MM2 and I found that dinosaurs are beasts. Now it seems wrong to be able to become the MM1 dinosaurs, but not the MM2's. Should you be able to beast wildshape if so at what level.

Beast is an old monster type that was removed in the 3.0 to 3.5 update. Change their type to animal.

Are you playing 3.0 or 3.5?

If 3.5, I believe they were converted into animals and you can wildshape into them. If 3.0, well, I'm not sure. :smallconfused:
