The Temple of Myrkul (ruins)

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna rises the machete to block the sword, putting all her strength into it, but gets hit by the spike, and stumbles backwards in pain.

[Deadly]

Ilias uses this opertunity to try and force the air out of mArslan's lungs, putting all his force behind the attack. ((Fortitude save to avoid))

As the psionic blast reaches Achim, the aura flares up. The acid is completely absorbed, while the force continues unaffected. Achim winces a bit and casts Forcecage (Cube) on Vael, hoping it'll hold him.

Deadly doesn't seem to bother about the ice. He slashes his incorporeal claws at Ayral while grinning madly.

The elemental, at Achims orders, charges at Alchemy, abandoning the golem.

[AmberVael]

Xemnas grins evilly and swings his sword at Anna again with the same force as he had behind it before.

mArslan gasps and tries to regain his breath.

Vael smirks and goes incorporeal, reshapes himself in an instant and slips between the bars as a slender shadow. He reforms on the other side and sends a burst of sonic and force energy at Achim, backing it up with a fireball.

Ayral's form slowly begins to tatter, and his eyes blaze as he tries to leech the power out of Deadly as he is struck.

Alchemy spins his staff in front of him and points a hand at his golem. The metal melts and pours off of the construct, then reforms on Alchemy instantly and becomes part of him. The elemental hammers hard into Alchemy and knocks him down, but he seems unharmed.

Elya finishes the Shadow off with a blaze of light, and it shrieks and fades away entirely.

Earin finds that his move left him with little time to react, and his reflexes have been slowed by his injuries. Kirana stabs him in the back and he cries out and leaps away.

Anna raises the machete to block again, though she doesn't have half as much force behind it as before. A lightball appears at her shoulder and launches itself towards Xemnas.

[Deadly]

Ilias throws two fully empowered blades at mArslan.

Deadly winces a bit and falls over dead. He reappears behind Ayral again and blasts him with a wave of sonic energy.

Achim is unaffected by both the sonic and the fireball, only the force continues unaffected by the aura. He frowns and casts Sunburst on Vael.

The elemental continues regardles of the fact that it's attacks have no effect.

[AmberVael]

Xemnas is taken by surprise and the lightball hits him full on right below the neck. He staggers backwards and is hit from behind as Elya flings her own blast of light at him.

mArslan drops to the ground in order to avoid the attacks.

Ayral's form blinks and the sonic washes over him ineffectively. He then tries to drain Deadly again.

Vael's wards snap up and block the sunburst, weakening slightly as they do. He flings a sphere of almost pure force at Achim, with only a little ice mixed in.

Alchemy frowns and sends a jet of hissing molten metal at the golem attacking him.

Earin focuses on healing himself as Kirana closes in carefully, her sais ready.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna leaps at Xemnas, aiming for his neck with the machete. Another lightball hovers by her shoulder, but she doesn't do anything whith it yet.

[Deadly]

Ilias manifests a long, thin blade and charges mArslan, his body wreathed in lightning. In various corners, 4 clones of him appear and throws a pair of blades each at Xemnas, Ayral, Vael and Alchemy

Deadly doesn't look pleased. Dark flames engulf him and his eyes flare up as he hacks away at Ayral

Achim screams at the force and casts an Antimagic Field over Vael.

The elementa staggers at the attack, but continues

[AmberVael]

Xemnas blocks Anna's attack but again gets hit from behind by Elya's blast of light. Snarling, he turns and charges at her, taking the blade in his arm.

mArslan tries to dodge, and is aided by Alchemy as a Wall of Iron appears between mArslan and Ilias. Alchemy grins and takes another hit from the elemental. The blade bounces off of his metal hide and he glares at Ilias.

Ayral grows more and more whispy, then blinks back and pours his power into recreating himself. He grows to a substantial incorporeal creature again.

Vael counters the antimagic spell with his staff before it can take effect and gets struck and distracted by the mindblade.

Earin strikes at Kirana, but she dodges and slashes him. Its obvious that Earin is getting tired...

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna flings the lightball at Xemnas' back, and lunges after him, aiming again for his neck.

[Deadly]

Ilias blinks behind the wall to attack mArslan. The 4 clones all focus their attacks on Vael.

Deadly looks really displeased Alright! You're really pissing me off now, prepare to die! he sneers and casts Hand of Death (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/divine/divineAbilitiesFeats.htm#handOfDeath) on Ayral. Deadly's eyes grows dim as he does so and he falls back a bit as his form fades slightly.

Achim concentrates and the aura around him glows and changes to a bright blue. He then casts a simple fireball at Vael.

[AmberVael]

Elya teleports out of Xemnas's way and flings a light blast at him again, and Anna's blade sinks into his back as the lightball bursts on him. He is looking somewhat tattered, but far from beaten.

Vael's wards deflect two of Ilias's attacks while he ducks another. The third gashes his arm, which instantly heals itself. The fire is sucked into a psionic field around him which then bursts out towards Ilias's clones in a raging blast of fire.

mArslan stands and dodges, then focuses on taking over Ilias again.

Ayral smirks, even as the deific power rages against him ineffectually. I'm already dead. The Spectral Savant flies at Deadly, trying to drain him again.

Kirana stabs Earin again and he steps back, flinging a shard of crystal at her which catches her in the chest. As she flinches he slashes her arm and disables it.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna slashes at him again. Two lightballs appear at her shoulders, but she doesn't use them yet.

[Deadly]

Deadly staggers and fades quickly, a surprised look in his eyes Wha... NO! NEVER AGAIN! his eyes flare up again and dark flames engulf his form as he rises and sends a massive blast of energy at Ayral.

Ilias trembles a bit but manages to resist the attack. He tries to grab mArslan and send a surge of electrical energy through him. The clones scream at the fire and 3 of them fades away. The last one throws five blades at Vael.

Achim casts Trap the Soul on Vael. The elemental, though badly hurt, moves to attack Kirana.

[AmberVael]

Xemnas spins and blocks Anna's attack and tries to force it back on her. Elya can't aim properly to hit him, so she shoots a positive energy spell at Anna to heal her.

Ayral shrieks as what remains of his power fends off the force, just barely enough to save him. He fades away into a tattered mist which tries to retreat.

mArlsan begins to fry under the electric force, still trying to invade Ilias's mind.

Vael's wards block three attacks and one mind blade wound heals instantly. The other stabs into him and he snarls. His magical resistance wards snap up and shatter under the soul trap spell, though they block it.

Kirana stabs at Earin once more and hits him in the leg, and he collapses to the floor. Her left arm flops limply as she dodges the elemental.

[Veg Sorbet]

Refreshed by the healing energy, Anna is able to match Xemnas in strength, if only for a short time Faint traces of the ghostly green energy begin to wreath their way down her arms.

Two more lightballs join the first two, but still all they do is hover there.

[Deadly]

Ilias releases his grip and kneels, trying to resist. The clone remains still.

Deadly sends another blast of energy at the fleeing Ayral.

Achim casts Deadly Sunstroke (from Complete Mage. 25d6 fire damage to all enemies, +50% against undead, fortitude save for half damage).

The elemental attacks Kirana with all it's strength

Elya focuses, then sends divine strength into Anna so she can resist. At the same time, she pours energy to Earin through their link.
Xemnas continues to force his sword on Anna's, sending another spike of red energy at her.

mArslan staggers to his feets as he concentrates on Ilias.

Ayral fades away entirely.

Vael raises a hand and the fire around him simply dies instantly. He sends a flurry of psionically enhanced magic missiles at Achim.

Kirana leaps out of the way again as Earin begins to heal himself slowly. Kirana flings her sai at him and it glances off of his mask. He screams, and it becomes apparent that the sai and sliced through the mask's left eye slit as he flew past. The blue energy normally blazing from it has gone out.

[Deadly]

Ilias' eyes dim.

Deadly turns to mArslan, manifesting Psychic Crush with a sneer

Achim's aura flares up, negating the missiles, and he casts Disintegrate on Vael.

The elemental continues to try and hit Kirana

[Veg Sorbet]

The four lightballs launch forwards, followed by another two, which seem to be half-way towards becoming the ghostly fireballs.

Until the spike hits, she manages to push back with equal force. green 'flames' begin to dance around her. When the spike hits, she spins to her right, accidentally dropping the machete, and clutching at the wound.

[AmberVael]

Xemnas staggers back as the lightballs hit him, too hurt and blinded to be able to attack for now. Elya rushes towards Earin, all other thoughts forgotten.

mArslan collapses, slowly dying.

Vael blinks incorporeal and the disentegrate flashes through him, and then he sends a jet of fire, ice, and sonic at Achim.

Alchemy turns and fires a blast of molten metal at the elemental again.

Kirana dodges once more, while Earin slowly gets to his feet.

[Deadly]

As mArslan falls, Ilias breaks out of the enchantment and blinks a bit. He then throws two globes of acid at Alchemy. His clone throws five blades at Kirana.

Deadly turns to Vael and with a scream attacks in a flurry of slashing claws.

The aura around Achim absorbs the fire, but the ice and sonic passes through. With a pained scream he falls to his knees as a contingency brings up a Prismatic Sphere around him.

The elemental falls and crumbles into nothingness.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna's transformation takes place again, and she manages to ignore the pain. Snarling ferally, she grabs the machete and swings it again at Xemnas' neck. For good measure, she also launches another fireball.

[AmberVael]

Alchemy screams with a shriek of metal as he begins to melt, and he uses a spell to repair himself, then melts the wall of iron he had put up and sends it in a wave towards Ilias.

Vael blurs out of Deadly's way and zips through the prismatic sphere, cringing as the eletricty and acid burn him, but otherwise unaffected. He assualts Achim with a powerful Mind Thrust.

Xemnas takes the machete in the neck and collapses on the ground as he gets hit with the fireball.

Elya moves to cast a heal on Earin just as Kirana lunges at him. Earin dodges, and Kirana stabs Elya instead. Elya's eyes go wide and she drops to the floor. Kirana smirks and then gets impaled by Ilias's blades and flies against the wall and slumps against it.

[Veg Sorbet]

just to make certain, Anna drives the machete into Xemna's chest. She looks up just in time to see Elya stabbed.

[Deadly]

Ilias, and his clone, disappears in a flash. A second later he reappears in another corner and throws another globe of acid at Alchemy.

Achim, still having his Mind Blank, ignore the attack. He concentrates, trying to ignore the pain, and shakes heavily as the aura flares brightly red.

Deadly sends a burst of Acid at Alchemy.

[AmberVael]

Alchemy begins to burn and hiss again, but this time he ignores it and sends two streams of metal from his hands at Ilias and his clone.

Vael snarls and uses Deceberate on Achim.

Earin drops down next to Elya and snarls as he begins to take her wounds on himself.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna casts the machete aside, and runs over to Earin and Elya, to check on the state of their wounds.

[Deadly]

Ilias tries to blink out of the way, but is hit in the shoulder. He is thrown back with a scream before disappearing in a flash.

Achim frowns. He remains on his knees, shaking as from some great physical excertion. With great effort he casts Greater Shout. The Prismatic Sphere fades away.

Deadly sends another blast of acid at Alchemy

[AmberVael]

Alchemy's metal form collapses into a heap.

Vael shakes under the blast but draws his shortsword and strikes at Achim's neck.

Elya's wounds fade away as Earin continues taking them onto himself. His eye is bleeding a little out from under his crimson mask.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna kneels beside Earin, concerned. She attempts to remove his mask.

[Deadly]

Ilias reappears, falling to his knees as he casts CCW on himself. He then throws a blade at Vael.

Deadly looks around before manifesting Disintegrate on Vael.

Vael's blade seems to be slowed down by the aura, leaving the attack without effect. Achim winces and casts Freezing Sphere at Vael.

[AmberVael]

With a scream, Vael expends all his energy in manifesting a blast of fire and force that explodes throughout the room. The disentegrate, sword, and ice kill him instantly.

Earin slumps to the floor as the fire and force hit him.

[Veg Sorbet]

Anna is knocked off her feet by the blast, and sprawls, unconscious on the floor.

((I'm calling it a night here - 3.30 am & I need to be up early.))

[Deadly]

Ilias screams at the blast and crashes to the ground.

Achim is thrown back against a wall, but aside from that seems to be unaffected by the blast. He falls to the floor and tries to get up, but collapses from the strain as his aura fades away.

Deadly is blown to nothingness, but reforms a moment later, unharmed.

Elya and Earin remain on the ground.

[Deadly]

Deadly looks around at the destruction and sighs, figuring that he's the only one currently standing. He flies over to check on Elya, figuring that the healer should be first in line for help.

[AmberVael]

Elya was slightly seared by the fire, and a little battered by force, but the other wounds dealt to her have been taken on by Earin. She appears unconcious.

[Deadly]

Deadly sighs and manifests Reality Revision to heal everyone I really need a muffin after this!

[AmberVael]

Earin and Elya's wounds slowly heal over, and Earin gets up. He looks around blankly for a moment, then looks at Elya.

[Deadly]

Deadly sighs and sits down on the floor, a bit shaken by the entire fight.

Ilias stands up slowly and looks around. Achim remains on the floor, though he appears to be concious.

[AmberVael]

Earin stares at Elya in shock. Elya does not get up or move at all...

[Deadly]

Ilias walks over to them and looks at Elya with worry What's wrong?

[AmberVael]

"She's dead..."
Earin sits down next to her and concentrates, blue energy wreathing around his crimson armored form.

[Deadly]

Ilias is a bit too shocked to notice that Earin doesn't really look like Earin. Oh... should we get her out of here?

[AmberVael]

What remains of Earin's incarnum and psionic energy pours into Elya ineffectively. He stares at her then nods.
((I assume that Anna did take off his mask. So he is wearing all of his armor but the mask, and his hair is white. Otherwise he is normal))

[Deadly]

Ilias looks at him, a bit surprised, but decides that now is not the time to ask. Can you take her? Then I can try get Anna out. Deadly, you can take Achim.

Achim gets up slightly. I'll... manage... on my own.

[AmberVael]

Earin stands and picks up Elya, his armor moving smoothly and apparently not hindering him at all.
"We'll need to teleport out..."

[Deadly]

Ilias nods I can planeshift us to the temple.

[AmberVael]

"Please do."

[Deadly]

He nods and picks up Anna, supporting her the best he can while placing a hand on Earin's shoulder. Achim halfway crawls over to join. Ilias then teleports to the temple.

Deadly sighs and disappears.

[AmberVael]

The shape in the unexplored, darkened mist finally stirs.
So, little shade, your plan failed. A pity... but your soul is still mine.
The demon strides through the walls without noticing them at all and moves directly to mElya's side, smirking at her rotting corpse. He reaches down and draws a blackened whisp of energy from her.
I don't think I'll share this with the others. It was my pact after all.
He absorbs mElya's soul and his eyes flicker strangely before settling on red again.
Always you have fight left... we'll see if you can be tamed, yes...

[Fenric]

The ancient priest and his guard enter the sanctuary.

{ ancient high elvish } Many have used this place for evil since last we were here. I am pleased: our job will be easier this way.

Ivellios nods as Elsadar limps up to the altar and brushes away the debries of ages to reveal the still-unmarred surface. He looks around

{ ancient high elvish } The aura of magic here is powerful, much stronger than it should be.

{ ancient high elvish } Perhaps something has transpired at the mirror to this place. It matters not. Do you have the materials?

Ivellios nods and pulls a leather sack out of his pack, which he hands to Elsadar. The ancient priest upends the bag of holding over the altar, and pours out a bizzare and disgusting pile of fingernail clippings.

{ ancient high elvish } Who would think that such a simple thing as this would bring about the end of the world?

The priest begins a complex spell, and the pile is teleported away. As soon as this has completed, the presence of the once-dead god defiles the room. Elsadar and Ivellios fall to their faces and grovel.

I AM PLEASED, MY SERVANTS. KNOW THAT THE SHIP IS COMPLETED, AND I SHALL SOON RETURN.

Aesa and Rafael appear in the catacombs, and Aesa looks around, stretching out her power.

[Fenric]

The wild energy is still at very low levels, although it is slowly rebuilding. The gibbering mouther is still in the hallway leading to the torture chamber, and the living wild surge is still in the empty treasure chamber off of the library.

[Kyrian]

Rafael waits, and cracks his neck and knuckles.

[AmberVael]

Aesa nods to herself.
This way.
She begins leading the way through the catacombs which weren't actually in the temple of Myrkul, they just never got their own thread.
Strange, almost solid shadows creep around them.

[Kyrian]

Rafael follows after her, and a small glow comes from one of his knuckle gloves. Nothing important, just a small light source.

[AmberVael]

The tendrils reach out, trying to slow Rafael, subtly sending a fear effect at him.
Aesa doesn't seem like she is being bothered by them at all.

[Kyrian]

Rafael ignores the fears, continuing to follow after Aesa, while the light brightens a bit.

[AmberVael]

In response to the light, the tendrils writhe more and increase the gripping and fear effect they have. Indeed, they even start trying to constrict around Rafael.
And Aesa is still singularly unaffected as she leads them to a right turn.

[Kyrian]

Rafael seems fearful at first, but then slowly puts 2 and 2 together and dismisses the light.

[AmberVael]

At first there is no difference, but slowly the presence of the shadows dies away.
Aesa reaches a door and opens it, revealing a large, extremely dark cave.

[Kyrian]

Rafael mentally curses himself, and steps in through the door.

[AmberVael]

Aesa steps just inside the door and waits.

The darkness within writhes and a telepathic voice thunders through.
Who seeks to disturb me?

[Kyrian]

Rafael looks to Aesa for a moment, looking for an answer, when he suddenly grins.

[AmberVael]

Answer me!
Aesa steps back out the door and watches.
The darkness writhes, and something begins taking shape.

[Kyrian]

It is I, Leonardo da Vinci. Rafael narrows his eyes, unable to see the thing speaking to him, and shifts the properties of his shades, allowing him perfect vision in darkness, magical or mundane.

[AmberVael]

The room grows much lighter for Rafael, but what is most disturbing is that his vision is still partially obscured by quasi-real shadows, which have collasced enough to actually be more than just darkness.
He does have the advantage of begin able to distinguish the tentacles when they lash out at him. And he can see the shape forming.
It's Clay. Or at least, it looks like Clay, but for the completely black and shadow nature of him.
Shadow Clay steps forwards and creates what seems to be a holy whip, and cracks it at Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Oh shi... Rafael gets hit by the whip and jumps back, clutching his left cheek. With a growl he rips Finality from it's sheath and throws it at sClay.

[AmberVael]

The dagger turns into what appears to be a stake made of gleaming light, but it is knocked out of the air by tendrils of shadow, which burn away at its touch. The stake/Finality remains on the ground, gleaming, and preventing any of the shadow from coming close.
Shadow Clay cracks its whip again as the shadows around Rafael begin taking the shape of Clay's family.

[Kyrian]

Rafael spins away from the whip and draws several more Finalities from the sheath, one for each shadow, and two for sClay, then throws them at their targets.

[AmberVael]

More tendrils pull the stakes aside before they hit Clay, but they seem to be withdrawing.
Clay's family mimc death in exactly the manner they died in reality...
Clay himself draws a longsword and leaps at Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Rafael draws Gram and moves to block the longsword. At the same time, he draws yet another Finality and thrusts it forward at Clay.

[AmberVael]

Clay is pierced through, but shadows flow into him and he keeps fighting, slashing at Rafael's side even as his children and wife mimic their deaths over and over again, quite possibly being bad for Rafael's morale.

[Kyrian]

Rafael gets hit in the side, and stumbles back from Clay, closing his eyes to try and block out the the family's death.

Stop it...I...

[AmberVael]

Clay strikes out again mercilessly.

[Kyrian]

Rafael falls to the hit, still muttering about stopping the shadows. Finally, with a low growl, he look up to Clay. I don't care what I did to your family, and if they were truly alive, I'd do it all over again. He draws Finality, and thrusts it at Clay, but as it changes forms, he lengthens it, making it the stake equivalent to a longsword.

[AmberVael]

Shadows keep rushing into Clay, but eventually all the shadow in the room is used up and he collapses into a pile of dust.
Across the now clear cave is a demon with black scales and horns. It is lithe and sinewy as opposed to big and imposing.
What, don't want to play?
It raises a hand and points it at Rafael.
Then let's end this.

[Kyrian]

As Finality changes back into a dagger, Rafael throws it at the demon. This throw would be faster and stronger than those Rafael has done before. He smirks at the demon and Gram vanishes, being replaced by Renegade.

[AmberVael]

The demon gets hit by a demonbane dagger and growls, pulling it out and dropping it on the ground before invoking a magic which should distort Rafael's view, making him see about eight of everything.

[Kyrian]

Rafael growls, and quickly materializes seven more Renegades. He modifies each with demonsbane and leaps at one of the demons while the seven swords each try attack a different one.

[AmberVael]

The problem is less of 'Mirror Image' and more of 'everything-is-blurring-together-maybe-I've-had-too-many-drinksHIC!'
So the swords kinda slash at things in the entirely wrong direction, while Rafael may or may not end up going straight towards the ground.
The demon teleports to the other side of the cavern anyways.

[Kyrian]

Rafael growls and closes his eyes, changing to properties in them to give him a sort of sonar sight. He growls again to send off the first wave, and assuming he's able to see where the demon stands, sends the seven floating Renegades after him.

[AmberVael]

The sonar sight works much better, and the seven swords fling towards the demon.
It has other plans on its mind, however, and it creates a wave of roiling darkness that turns into familiar tentacles which try and grab and stop the swords.

[Kyrian]

The swords are grabbed, but become wreathed in the same light Finality kept giving off earlier. Rafael swings at several tentacles.

[AmberVael]

Rafael might notice something rather disturbing in the middle of this fight.
The ring simply stops transmitting any feelings at all.
The tentacles begin fading away, and the demon gets more desperate, sending a strand of shadow to strangle Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Rafael does indeed feel the ring stop transmitting feelings, as it helps him make his next move. The shadow grips Rafael, as he drops Renegade, trying to figure out what happened to Aesa. No...what happened... He growls, falling to his knees, not really caring that he's been strangled by the shadow. The shades covering his eyes crack a bit as he growls again, and finally shatter into dust as the crosshairs in his eyes turn gold. He holds out one hand, and a sword made entirely of light appears in his grasp, which he quickly turns and brings down upon the strangling shadow.

[AmberVael]

The shadow snaps and the demon backs up to the wall, desperately trying to think of a way to defend itself.

[Kyrian]

Rafael stands, and the sword in his hand shifts from one made of pure light, to one made of pure demonbane. Which would probably beg questioning from one about what pure demonbane looks like. Well, this one looks like a sword made entirely out of blue fire. With a snarl, Rafael starts over towards the demon, not pausing for anything.

[AmberVael]

The demon holds it arms in front of it.
Wait! If you spare me there is much I can teach you- but if I die it is lost.

[Kyrian]

What?! What could you possibly teach me!

[AmberVael]

To control people through their thoughts, their past- to be able to gaze more fully into your own.
Magic of shadow and memory is a potent force.
Even if you do not wish to learn, just let me serve you- don't send me back to the abyss.

[Kyrian]

Teach me. And serve me.

[AmberVael]

The demon kneels and bows its head.

[Kyrian]

Now, teach. Rafael growls a bit.

[AmberVael]

If you will it, I can start granting the ability to you... you'll know how to use it as you recieve.

[Kyrian]

Rafael thinks for a moment, then several pure demonbane swords appear. Do it. But if you dare try to betray me, these swords are ordered to make sure you return to the abyss.

[AmberVael]

The demon looks into Rafael's eyes and with painful slowness, but certainly faster than he'd learn on his own, he begins understand the magic of shadow and memory.

((Think of it as an illusionist who specializes in quasi real things and the ability to use people's history against them without even knowing it))

[Kyrian]

Rafael nods and waits for the demon to finish before glaring at him. Stay here. I have further use of you.

[AmberVael]

The demon gives him a very basic knowledge before stopping, then waits.

[Kyrian]

Rafael thinks for a moment again. I had a friend here. And I don't know where she is now. Find her.

[AmberVael]

The demon nods and reaches out telepathy to try and find people.
He finds no one nearby.
It gets slightly nervous, considering this is about the only searching method it has, and that Rafael isn't in a very good mood, obviously.
Reaching back in time a bit, in memory it notes Aesa vanish in a flash of white light.
That's about it.
... she is not anywhere nearby. I have no methods of searching elsewhere.

[Kyrian]

Teach me more then. I want more power in looking into the past.

Rafael waits, somewhat patiently, mostly impatiently.

Rafael very slowly begins to learn how to summon up people's memories and make them more or less real.

Rafael decides to try something, and pulls up a recent memory of his own of Aesa, from when he was giving mer a massage in the mountains, and tries to make it real.

[AmberVael]

Shadow begins to stir and shape, changing into the form of Aesa very slowly.

[Kyrian]

Rafael watches, and turns to the demon. You, now give me a deeper understanding of shadow control.

[AmberVael]

When you draw it from your own memories, there is no more control you can gain.
They are who they are.
Otherwise...
The demon begins channeling an understanding of how to create and use normaly shadows.
Aesa is created, and looks around, frowning.

[Kyrian]

I don't ever care to try and control her you fool.

He turns and looks at Aesa. Aesa...are you ok?

[AmberVael]

No... something's happened...
She looks very confused.

[Kyrian]

Rafael nods. I know....you're only a part of my memory...but I plan on finding out what happened. I....I can't feel you anymore...

[AmberVael]

Aesa frowns and nods to Rafael.

[Kyrian]

Rafael slowly steps closer to her, then turns and looks to the demon. You stay here. So help me, if I find you've moved the slightest of inches, I'll torture you so much you'll wish I just sent you back to the abyss.

[AmberVael]

The demon stands exactly where it is, not replying at all but through a nod.
Aesa keeps frowning and waits.

[Kyrian]

What's wrong, Aesa? Besides the obvious?

[AmberVael]

I'm not capable of doing much in this form.

[Kyrian]

I'm sorry....I don't know how to change it. Make you real again. Rafael sighs.

[AmberVael]

Well lets figure out where I am then.
She crosses her arms and waits.

[Kyrian]

Well...where was the real you at last night? Would you even know?

[AmberVael]

No. I don't.
Aesa crosses her arms and keeps waiting.
I'm pretty useless.

[Kyrian]

No you're not. Just your presence, real or not, is able to calm me down. Let's go back to your plane and try to figure something out.

[AmberVael]

Lead the way.

[Kyrian]

Rafael nods and heads out the door Aesa led him into this room through last night, and starts to head out of the temple.

[AmberVael]

Which, unfortunately, leads to problems.
Because, #1, Rafael doesn't know the way out of the temple. He does know where Aesa teleported him to, but that is not the way out.
And #2, the exit to this underground temple was a dimensional gate.
Which got dispelled.
Months ago.

[Kyrian]

Rafael growls. Damnit...

[AmberVael]

Aesa waits next to him.
Well?

[Kyrian]

This is where you teleported us in. I don't know how to get out.

[AmberVael]

Aesa shrugs and raises her hands helplessly.
Well neither do I.
I mean, I suppose I could teleport us, but that would probably rip me to pieces channeling that kind of energy.

[Kyrian]

Rafael is a little surprised at himself as he turns and glares at Aesa for a moment, then lowers his gaze to the floor.

[AmberVael]

Aesa glares back at him and puts her hands behind her back.
Though, I guess you did create me, so it is not like my death would really be happening.

[Kyrian]

I'm only trying to help...

[AmberVael]

Aesa places her hand on his shoulder, only partially being there, and then teleports them, whether Rafael wants to see what happens when a shadow body channels too much energy or no.

[AmberVael]

Aesa appears and moves over to the demon.
Did he send you?
No. Die.
The demon, quite simply, crumples as Aesa rips its power and life essence from its body.

In the abyss, the demon reappears and curses at Aesa, now a dretch.

Aesa, uncaring, teleports away with her prize.
