I was just flipping through my copy of Complete Adventurer and I stumbled up this class. Now the features intrigued me so I was wondering if anyone has played this class before and whether or not they liked it?

Not crippling compared to taking most Tier 4-5ish classes straight , but that defining death attack feature has a low save DC and lots of ways to get immunity.

If I were interested in the flavor, I'd wholesale steal it and make a Shadow Hand Swordsage.
