Goblins have been for a long time one of my very favorite things in D&D. They're goofy, little, and crazy, and I've been a fan for a long time.

What I want to do is make a goblin war party that maybe has to defend their village against adventuring parties while going off on side quests from that hub.

The players would obviously be forced to playing goblins. Possibly allowing Worgs depending on how things go.

The general feel I'm looking for is the generic high fantasy, but I want gunpowder to be around, and some rudimentary firearms, and then possibly eventually a zeppelin or something.

I'm also seriously leaning towards pathfinder, just because my last group had a huge optimization divide, and the Runescarred Berserker and Shadowcraft Mage were ascending to godhood while the Bard, Spellthief, Fighter, and Ninja were struggling with a CR6 Dragon Baby. Pathfinder just seems more balanced.

What I want from you guys is any possible plothooks or mini-adventures you could come up with within my parameters, and any sort of Goblin background fluff from D&D, Magic the Gathering, WoW, or whatever you think would help me develop this further. Any information or feedback I can get on this would be lovely. Thank you in advance.

You have, of course, read the webcomic (http://www.goblinscomic.com/) with the same premise?

Well maybe after one hurts and steals an elf girl's doll and goes into a city with an evil ranger who tortures him.

WOW I just read through that. Simply amazing.

That's given me a lot of stuff to think about.

Anyone have any other Goblin related information I could incorportate?
