I was playing a 15th level wizard and I stumbled upon the Tarrasque so i Magic jarred him. But somewhere in the process i thought it would be awesome if i could stay in the Tarrasque's body and keep wizard levels. So, is it possible to do something like that? Can i cast permanency on myself? Can i kill my previous body in which the Tarrasque's soul is now or destroy the gem or both?

Wouldn't there be a problem with somatic components?

Not with that spell, no, not unless the DM specifically lets you.

Now, the spell Permanency (if you read the PHB version, rather than the SRD version (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/permanency.htm)) does include the line "The DM may allow other selected spells to be made permanent. Researching this possible application of the spell costs as much time and money as independently researching the selected spell (See the Dungeon Master's Guide for Details)" - and further notes that the DM can determine it's not possible, and that you never know what is possible except by success or failure of the research. Which means you need to spend 5,000 gp, and 5 weeks of game-time, just to find out whether or not you can make Permanency work that way.
