Riverine Dagger? or something like that...

Thats probably not the way its spelled but I remember something about an indestructible dagger made of force or something. I'm not interested in the dagger so much as making stuff from whatever the dagger is made of.

Can anyone tell me where to find it?

Edit: while I'm here I thought I'd ask where I can find a write up for building a mechanical car or tank or something. Offensive power isn't really what I'm looking for, I just need something fast that can transport a party, and look awesome doing it. I'd like to build it with as little magic as possible.

Maybe a 3rd party book or something, focused on mechanical/steampunk stuff?

For low levels, cost for Carts/Carriages and the like are in the SRD (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Transport). Just tack on some appropriate horses (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Mounts_and_Related_Gear).

Mid-levels, you could use templated horses, either effigy (Complete Arcane) or skeletons should work. Being Undead/Constructs, they can keep running the whole day without tiring. Or you could replace the horses with faster phantom steeds (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Phantom_steed).

High levels, the party just greater teleports around.
