I'm making a wisdom based ranger who is pretty feat starved and has low dexterity, is there any way to get manyshot from an item or something?

Something that may help ya is Splitting property, from Champions of Ruin but it's a +3 and you need Precise Shot. The arrow fired duplicates itself and the enemy is hit by two arrows.

Edit: 6th level Ranger gains Manyshot for free with the restriction of Light or no armor.

Splitting stacks with everything, I want to add the splitting to the manyshot =P
It's just I've seen items that grant feats before, I was wondering if there was one that granted manyshot or similar.

Sort of. Get an item that gives you an additional move action or move as a swift action, and you can move + full attack. Anklets of Translocation, Chronocharm of the Horizon Walker, and Quicksilver Boots (all in the Magic Item Compendium) allow movement as a swift action. The Tempo Bloodspike (Magic of Eberron) can also give you an extra move action.


Person_Man has a list of ways to gain extra movement (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103358), many of which can be used by archers to skip the Manyshot feat entirely.

I have enough turn attempts to use travel devotion 5 times a day, I'm fine on that front. Looking for manyshot specifically here.

There's always Zen Archery to sub Wis for Dex while using a bow... If'n you're willing to spent a feat on it.

What other lvls did you take?
Could you return to ranger?

Items that grant feats usually cost about 10k. Note that you need to have the prereqs to use the item. As such taking ranger 6 is a solid choice.

I have zen archery, wouldn't be a wisdom based archer without it. Have around 25k to blow, level 10, returning to ranger isn't an option.

Built this very nice looking archery character and then realised I'd blown all my feats without getting anything on the point blank shot tree, was looking for a way around that without retraining 2-3 feats.

eternal wand of heroics might be an option if you have the umd or someone else to use it on you

or do you need to meet the requirements for the feats then too? cant remember

Heroics needs you to have all the prerequisites :-/

Prestige Ranger could get you Manyshot with just 2 levels, but requires having Rapid Shot, Endurance and Track, so that doesn't help much. Unless you can get away with taking Ranger and Prestige Ranger, in which case you could get Manyshot in just 4 rangery levels, blowing a feat on Endurance, or 5 rangery levels and getting Endurance for free.

If you have 50 rounds of Travel Devotion, I don't understand what you need Manyshot for. Are you trying to qualify for Improved Rapid Shot or something?

agree with darrin. why u need MS with 50r of travel devotion ?
