Poison & Unconsciousness

When a player suffers from a poison that causes unconsciousness(e.x. drow poison) how long does it last?

Also, anyone know of any good ways to improve poison use?

it is listed in the poison entry

IIRC drow poison is KOd for 1 round for first save then 1d4 minutes if the second save is failed
