Ever ambitious and clearly aware of the manipulative concern afforded by fashion, the balor MalClaude has entered into a territory few demons ever trespass - that of macroeconomics and service management.

Bereft, for better or worse, of the innate rage inherent to his ilk, MalClaude has long dabbled in crafting fashions of exquisite and momentary beauty. Unappreciative of wearing clothes and soiling upon them, MalClaude's fellow demons did not take kindly to this pioneer of industry.

Yet, MalClaude was still a balor and few challengers or challenges proved to be his peer. And while appreciative of fashion, he was still evil. His sobriquet of skinmerchant had as much to do with his dealing in the flayed skins of sentient beings as it had to do with his profession.

To support his primary interest, MalClaude organised harems of those beings who dealt in the experience and profit of the flesh. In time, supporting and protecting them against malefactors, and of course sampling the bevy of beauties to ensure they were at their physical and metaphysical peak.

The origins of this enterprising balor are murky at best. Some scholars who study those of abyssal origins present the beginnings of MalClaude as being a demon lord by the name of Sontillion, whose etymology may perhaps stem from a corruption of succubus. It is unknown why he instead chose MalClaude as his designation of choice.

MalClaude does not appear at all like a demon, handsome and slender, MalClaude possesses high cheekbones and slanted eyes that burn with a cruel humour. Two great curving ram's horns jut from either side of his brow.
MalClaude bedecks himself in glittering jewelry and is ever surrounded by a harem.

Death Throes (Su) When killed, MalClaude explodes in an excessively perfumed conflagration of rose petals and lilac that deals 100 points of damage to anything within 100 feet. Reflex DC 30 halves. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Performed Body (Su) An aroma of cloying, enticing scent surrounds MalClaude. Any creature striking MalClaude with a natural weapon or unarmed strike takes 1d6 points of acid damage and is nauseated and sickened (per the conditions). Those who fail against a Will DC 30 are dazed for three rounds as their noses befriend the balor. The save DC is Charisma-based.
1/day, MalClaude may choose to absorb this rich flagrance and detonate this impregnated odour upon his person as a cloudkill spell to a radius of 60 ft.

Spell-Like Abilities At will— blasphemy, dominate monster, greater dispel magic, greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only), insanity, power word stun, telekinesis, unholy aura; 1/day—fire storm, implosion. Caster level 20th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Should that be "Perfumed" Body?

Also, I'm not sure why you picked Craft (Basketweaving) as a skill rather than Profession (Fashion Designer) or Craft (Tailor). Profession (Pimp) would also be appropriate, considering what he does...

He's got too many feats. For 20 HD, he should have 7 feats.

[Edit] Since he is still a balor, why is he missing his vorpal sword? Surely, there should be some explanation for this.

[Edit 2] What is a Glittering weapon? Could you cite to the book if it isn't open content.

The first thing I thought when I read this title? What's a Skinmer, and why do they chant? :smalltongue:

Also, given his perfumy nature, you might want to exchange some of the fire spells for fog spells.
