I just discovered the site http://genero.tv/ which sponsors various contests to create the official music videos for different artists.
They've done videos for Alicia Keys, Moby, and even director David Lynch. Currently, you can make videos for Royksopp, OMD, Duran Duran, and Alex Clare.
Prizes run from $1000 to $5000 that I've seen so far. Royksopp and Duran Duran have opened their entire new albums to the contest, with a first prize for each song, while OMD and Alex Clare are open only for the newest single.
I have solid concepts for a Royksopp song and for OMD, and I'm really tempted to go for Duran Duran, but the deadlines are fairly short, so probably won't get time for all three.
Just though others might want to get in on the fun. :-)
