Since it is, well, Christmas and all, I was wondering if anyone has some stats for christmas-related creatures/characters to share?

I'll start:

Santa's "elves" are gnome magewrights.

EDIT: Changed the name from "Christmas Critters" to "Christmas Icons" to avoid confusion with the terribly evil critters from South Park.

I ran my players through a side quest a la The Grinch, with a troll and a war-trained riding dog as The Grinch and Max. They also encountered a reskinned Dire Bat as a six-legged ravenous Dire Turkey.

Necromancer Games put out the free adventure Feast of the Gobbler, which has some foods of a general holiday nature monstrofied, IIRC.

There's also gingerbread golems/men , though I can't remember if that was just a popular joke homebrew or not.

I thought you were going to stat the Christmas Critters mentioned on Southpark. And I was both frightened and amused.

It would probably make for an inappropriate topic as it's generally not PG material.

I like the idea of the fey template for most of the notable figures even though that krampus is seriously freaky

Here's a pdf from Wizards with "official" Santa stats (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/santa.pdf).

I would stat Santa as an epic level Ninja capable of manipulating time and reality at a whim. Possibly also with a constant pass without trace. He'd also have a non-dispellable continuous fly spell effect.
His bag would be a bag of holding artifact capable of granting limited wishes; he is able to retrieve the right present for the right child.

Well, Santa is a Third Circle demon, obviously. The elves are First Circle demons, while the reindeers are Second Circle demons.

Scrooge is an Abyssal with the motivation "Destroy Christmas spirit". Grinch is a raksha.

Except you left out avenues for the most critical part of those last two characters. :smallconfused::smalltongue:

Castes?

Well, Scrooge is a Moonshadow Caste. Grinch is... well, I don't rightly know.

Meh. Someone stat the Krampus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krampus).

I'm thinking that's a 17 HD David Grohl subtyped Outsider.

I'm thinking that's a 17 HD David Grohl subtyped Outsider.

He could easily just be a 1st level Tiefling with skill focus Intimidation. In a world where everyone he meets is a 1st level commoner or expert, that's scary enough.

Also, Santa is clearly the most dangerous criminal known to crime-fighting organisations.

Oh gods. I just realized something.

They both wear red.

They both travel around the world defying human capacity.

They both can carry incredible amounts of items, breaking the laws of physics and common sense.

They are both sought out by the police.

SANTA CLAUS IS CARMEN SANDIEGO!

Why is Santa sought after by the police. That thing with the jaywalking grandmother was not his fault.
