I'm playing a shadowcraft mage in a high-powered high-level campaign at the moment. My current build is Wizard 2/Shadowcraft Mage 3/Master Specialist 8. I plan on finishing out master specialist, but I'm looking for suggestions of what to take for those last 3 levels. Any cool ideas?

How high powered? Incantatrix? (Tainted Scholar? :smalleek:)

Less crazy, Archmage? You're only missing one prereq feat at most.

Fatespinner?

He's saying he'll top that one out too. Wiz 2 / ScM 5 / MSpec 10... leaving 3 more levels.

Check out Shadowcraft Mage in Player's Guide to Faerun.

Underdark also has a Shadowmage prestige class that further boosts the bonus to reality.

That was a typo actually. I already have all 5 levels of ScM. Tainted scholar is probably out as is anything from campaign setting specific books.

Shadowcrafter from Underdark pg. 43 is pretty nice. Over 10 levels you get +20% to shadow evocation and conjuration effectiveness, +4 on spell penetration for [shadow] spells, and a few other goodies.

So, his illusory spells will become even moar moar real?

Earth Dreamer is kinda cool. I mean, you are already a gnome caster...you get cool walking/seeing through walls abilities while you mind-frank them with your illusionary goodness.
