Two things.

First: What are/Where can I find the rules for damage resistance. It isn't in the DMG, MM or the rules compendium (from what I saw) and I checked the net and didn't see anything promising.

Second: Does it stack with Damage Reduction?

The damage resistance is from the 10th level of Contemplative from Complete divine. (Damage resistance 10/magic).

The damage reduction is from the Saint template (DR 10/evil).

There is no such thing.

Rather, Contemplative is talking about Damage Reduction but was poorly edited.

The way the abilities interact is that you effectively have DR 10/Magic and Evil - you take 10 off of dealt weapon damage unless the source counts as both. You do not stack them and reduce by 20.

There's no such thing as damage resistance in 3.5. It's a typo.

Edit: Huh, I was ninja'd.

I kind of thought so but when I checked the erreta there was no edit so I figured I would ask. Thanks.

The closest you'll find to "damage resistance" is Hardness, and there are ways around that as well.
