As there are some rules not really clear about the artificer out there
(

)
I would like to know if the Weird Science Invetions include spells affected by metamagic feats. Say, a Maximized Magic Missile count as an 4th lvl spell? Or is it impossible to include a modified spell into the invention?

That artificer is wonky and terrible. I'd recommend against using it.

It's pretty much everything weird about 3rd party stuff epitomized.

Yeah... that Artificer...

Tome of Secrets is forbidden at my table because of it, but if I were to allow it...

Sure, I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to Metamagic your inventions... I'd just ask the GM first, as the only correct answer is the one coming from the guy running the game.

Then again, I don't see many tables using this, I guess it being the penultimate combat healer isn't much of a bragging right, but it's the first thing that comes to mind when you're allowed to cast multiple spells at once.

Just out of curiosity, are there any classes in Tome of Secrets that -are- usable? Surely the Artificer can't have spoiled the whole bunch.
