Is there any way to increase uses per day?

I'm thinking of a Drow character who uses his Darkness SLA to give himself cover, but at 1/day this isn't feasible.

In Drow of the Underdark, there's a feat to give another use to Drow racial SLAs.

Lots of feats from Drow of the Underdark increase your number of uses. There is one dedicated feat (Master of Shadows), which just gives extra uses to all your SLAs, the others just have "You also gain one extra daily use of your darkness SLA" as a secondary effect to something that's the real point of the feat. You should take a look, if you can.

Also Magic In The Blood from FR. Makes all racial SLA's into 3/day.

There are two feats:

Blend into Shadows (Drow of the Underdark p. 47). Spend one use of your darkness SLA as a swift action to hide in plain sight if within 10' of magical darkness. You also gain one additional use of your darkness SLA.

Magic in the Blood (Player's Guide to Faerun p. 40). All of your racial 1/day SLAs are now 3/day.

You can also dip one level into Warlock or Dragonfire Adept to pick up an unlimited number of darkness SLAs.

I'd guess you're using Darkenss for concealment to justify sneak attack. But you can't sneak attack things with concealment (see SRD Rogue) so unless you have a special ability like Blindsight or See in Darkness or happen to be at the edge of the spell range (or using ranged attacks to shoot outside it), it's not good that way.

It sounds like your DM doesn't know about the concealed-target rule. It's actually one of the best ways to screw a rogue. (Blur etc.)

Hard to qualify for as a Drow, but the Soul Eater PrC (BoVD) gains an ability whereby any day in which they drain a level from a creature, ALL of their daily SLAs and Su abilities are double for the day (1/day becomes 2/day, 3/day becomes 6/day etc.).

Reqs include being a non-humanoid and having a natural attack, so unless you can get some kind of template onto your Drow, unlikely...

If you're a draegloth or a drider, though, it works fine.

There's also the drow paragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#drowParagon) class

One level dip

Man, a drow can really get loaded on racial SLAs.
1st, Magic in the Blood -> 3/day
plus Gift of the Spider Queen (or was it Master of Shadows?) -> 4/day
plus Drow Paragon -> 5/day
Sadly, Drow Paragon's casting progression sucks like there is no tomorrow. I'll houserule it so that it actually gives you 1st level wizard or cleric casting if you don't have it, and it can also progress binding (I'm betting Volt will like this).
