I have hard somewhere that druids can take feats to increase the size of creatures they can wildshape in to, I presume that rangers can take them too.
I need confirmation that they can.
So can a ranger take a feat to let them wild shape into something bigger?

Yes, they only really require "wild shape ability", but most of them have the "Epic" tag, meaning you'd have to be Level 21+ to take them.
Colossal Wild Shape (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Colossal_Wild_Shape)
Diminutive Wild Shape (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Diminutive_Wild_Shape)
Fine Wild Shape (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Fine_Wild_Shape)
Gargantuan Wild Shape (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Gargantuan_Wild_Shape)

If you are naturally ginormous/small you can take
Proportionate Wild Shape (http://www.realmshelps.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Proportionate_Wild_Shape)

Actually, to get to huge, you only need large and the Great and Small feat (CC). It costs you 1 more use of wildshape, but you can increase or decrease the size by one step.

Theoretically, if your ranger could get to large, it would be able to do it.

Generally speaking, I find it's a better pay off to take levels in PrC's like Nature Warrior or Master of Many Forms than take the feats, especially if you're looking to focus on wild-shaping anyway.

Of course, but it's a matter of if you'd rather lose feat slots or dip other classes.

In my build Levels to me are more important than feats really,
I suppose that a feat allowing rangers to wildshape into bigger stuff wouldn't be to bad for a low tier 3 class.

What to you mean, low tier 3?

Wildshape Variant Mystic (which you should take, as it is essentially free) ranger with SotAO is pretty high up in tier 3, especially if you take Natural Spell and go into MoMF.

I forgot to factor in mystic ranger there.

Also I could give up combat style for wild shape and then swap wild shape for a second lot of favoured enemy, wis to AC as monk, fast movement as monk and swift tracker and track as standard ranger,
and give up teh tracking i normally get for trapfinding.

Great and Small only changes the size of animals you can currently wildshape into. It doesn't grant access to larger-sized creatures.

The easiest way for a Ranger to get Huge forms is Wildshape Ranger 5/Master of Many Forms 6 (about 4 levels before Druid 15).

If you add the Frozen Wild Shape feat (Frostburn), you can turn into magical beasts with the cold subtype, such as a 12-headed Cryohydra. Have an ally cut off your heads to double it to 24 heads.

True, but it still let's you be on size bigger in the end, and those size bonuses really start to get serious at the higher end of the scale.

What is your build? Also, being able to achieve it pre-epic pretty much depends upon levels, and if one is wildshaping, there's not much that's better than MOMF, just the first level grants large size creatures.

Basically its somethign like this.
1.Duskblade/Mystic Ranger
2.Duskblade/Mystic Ranger
and keep going for a while,
I know that once I hit level 13 duskblade will go into subliem chord for some bard spells and access to lots of useful things.

Mystic ranger I don't know what to do with but I could go with the wildshape variant and try to find a way to get into a large size but I doubt I can,
If I can't I just wildshape into an albino blue dragon (One of the younger kinds) and blast everything with lightning and cast as nessecery.

Really? Your DM would allow albinism without a template? :smallconfused:

To be honest, that sounds fairly MAD.

Also, you probably want a mouthpick weapon of some sort.

And since you want to take it to Duskblade 13 anyway, having Duskblade 13//Mystic Ranger 10/Master of Many Forms 3 isn't going to lose you anything other than some mystic ranger spells per day, which aren't as valuable when you've maxed out spell levels unless you're using Sword of the Arcane Order. And it greatly expands your wildshaping abilities to just take the first level of MOMF.

You need to hit level 27 and have Wis 30 (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#dragonWildShape) before you can do that.
