Hi, I would like to know if there are better quivers than the Quiver of Ehlonna, which can only hold up to 60 arrows. I'm currently considering having three of those (one on the back and one on each leg :smalltongue:) but for a volley archer 180 arrows doesn't mean infinite at all.

Hm. Unless you actually go through 180 arrows in a single fight, without any moments of rest, you should just purchase a bag of holding to store arrows in. They weigh very little, so you could potentially keep thousands in extradimensional space. Then, between fights, re-stock your quivers.

Not exactly a quiver, but there is the redonculous Hank's Energy Bow (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20061227a).

Create arrows of pure force at will, plus the equivalent of a ranged Power Attack.

Quiver of Plenty, Dragon Compendium 139. Infinite masterwork arrows of wooden, steel tipped, silver tipped, and cold iron tipped, and five adamantine tipped each day.

Quickloading crossbow (+1 enchantment) will store 100 bolts and effectively give you the Rapid Shot feat. Not quite a quiver, though.

How about the Quiver of Anariel?

Quiver of Anariel:Quivers of Anariel appear to be typical arrow containers capable of holding a score of arrows. However, the quivers automatically replenish themselves with standard or magical arrows, such that they are always full. Some quivers also create arrows made of special materials, such as adamantine, cold iron, or alchemical silver.

Once an arrow it taken from the quiver, it must be used within 1 round or it vanishes.

Moderate conjuration; CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, magic weapon, minor creation; Price 28,000 gp (standard arrows), 29,000 gp (masterwork arrows), 32,000 gp (+1 arrows), 44,000 gp (+2 arrows), 64,000 gp (+3 arrows), 92,000 gp (+4 arrows), 128,000 gp (+5 arrows); Add an additional +6,000 gp for adamantine arrows, +4,005 gp for cold iron arrows, or +200 gp for alchemical silver arrows; Weight 1 lb.

A lot of the time my DMs in the past have allowed for modification of existing types. We combined a Quiver of Ehlonna and a Bag of Holding to maximize the effect. Took our wizardly types about a month of lay-about time to put together. Can't remember the costs or details, but you might have similar luck convincing your DM. When in doubt, make your own.

Whoops. Wrong thread. Did not mean to necromance.
