Just a few things I've been thinking about. These haven't been balanced at all yet, they've just been kicking around in my head.

Requirements: To bind an epic level vestige, you must have an effective binder level of at least 21st. In addition, you must have discovered how to summon the vestige. Unlike non-epic vestiges, these are not well known, as few have the power or the mettle to bring them forth, and those who do are not eager to share.

Backlash: Epic level vestiges are not eager to share their power with just anyone. When attempting to bind an epic vestige, if you fail your binding check by ten or more, you suffer an ill effect, described in the vestige's text.

Signs: Epic level vestiges have a much more dramatic influence on your appearance and behavior than weaker ones.

The Snake, The Lord of the Lord of the Ninth
Legend: In a deep rift on the lowest circle of Baator, lies the bloody, broken body of a snakelike being, miles long. None are sure what it is, but it has been speculated by a brave few that it is Asmodeus' real body, and that the Asmodeus known as the Lord of the Ninth is merely an aspect or projection of this being. None who suggest this live until the next day.

Manifestation: When you call The Snake, you are mentally transported to the rift where the enormous, bloody Snake lies. You are only there in your mind - you cannot be harmed by anything that happens there.

Binding DC: 70
Backlash: Asmodeus (The non-snake one) immediately travels to your location and attempts to kill you. He will not fight to his own death, but will seek to kill you again when he recovers.

Sign: You turn into a Colossal snake-like creature, and gain a +2 size bonus to strength for each size category this makes you go up, and a -2 size penalty to dexterity for each size. Your armor class and attack roll modifier also adjust for your new size.

Influence: You become cruel, tyrannical, and manipulative. If you order someone to take an action and they refuse, you must make a DC 40 will save or try to kill them to the best of your ability. This lasts as long as The Snake is bound to you, and returns whenever you bind The Snake again. In addition, you will seek to arrange and spin all events to seize the most personal power for yourself.

Special Requirements: You must sacrifice a sentient creature to The Snake within an hour of summoning him. You can a +1 bonus on your binding check equal to the number of HD of the creature sacrificed. The Snake will not come to a servant of any demon or good-aligned outsider, but will come to a good-aligned character who is not in the service of any of the above.

Granted Abilities: The Snake grants you the powers of absolute evil, along with the powers of being a giant snake.

Bite: You gain a natural bite attack, dealing 2D6+1.5 STR damage. You cannot use this ability if you do not show The Snake's sign. Half the damage dealt is vile damage.

Poison: Your bite delivers poison, with initial and secondary damage 2D6 STR. The save DC is 20+1/2 your HD+Your constitution modifier. You also cannot use this ability if you do not show the Snake's sign.

Aligned Weapon: Your bite attack (Or any weapons you hold) are considered evil, magic, epic, and lawful for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Protection from Good and Chaos: You are under the constant effect of Protection from Good and Protection from Chaos

Spell Like Abilities: You may use Magic Circle Against Good, Desecrate, Magic Circle Against Chaos, Blasphemy, and Dictum as at-will spell-like abilities.

Summon Devil: Once per day, you may summon 2 Pit Fiends with a 70% chance of success. The pit fiends remain for 1 minute per effective binder level.

More to come.

Actual Epic Level Binder Rules. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9589080&postcount=6)

It was a proper Wizard's article online, but they deleted it recently. That's a surviving copy/paste of the rules.

There was an article online at WotC for epic vestiges and binders though unfortunately it is gone now. It would be good if somebody could show that to you and it will let me finally see them again (seriously does anybody have this?).

EDIT: DUDE AWESOME. Seriously I have been looking for these for a while.
