Help! Need a character idea/class for an oriental campaign tonight!

Base race has to be human, the human bonus feat has to be an ancestor feat from Oriental Adventures. Never really looked through the book myself. I think most all books are allowed though. D&D 3.5 btw. 1st level.

Ideas??? I don't know the power level of the group (of course we've 1st level) but I'd like to be at least fairly powerful at all levels.

Is your DM using the Ancestor Feats from OA, or is he using the revised feats from the OA 3.5 update in Dragon #318?

Shamans are still pretty damn awesome. Do look up the 3.5 update, it makes their unarmed stuff a bit better. It doesn't mention their animal companion, but it would be reasonable to give them one as druid since the 3.0 class has animal friendship as a spell.
