It says 4th level arcane or divine, but would you allow an artificer to qualify for master alchemist?

Master Alchemist from Magic of Faerun? No, it doesn't. But if your DM allows Artificers, then surely (s)he'd make an exception to use Infusions instead of spells for a PrC that is all about making magic things!

It sounds like a good time for a reasonable house rule to me.

It actually says "arcane or divine" rather than just 4th level spells? What other kind of spells existed at that point? Weird.

psionics can be classified as spells

True, but Artificers don't use those either.

And yeah, the PrC states "Ability to cast 4th level Arcane or Divine Spells" as a prerequisite. Flexible, yet oddly limiting. :smalltongue:

Really where does it say that?

Psionics are effected by anti magic fields and dispel as well as identifiable by Spellcraft

Unless you use the silly rules where they are different.

Also psionic artificers exists for your psionic needs.

So are invocations and soulmelds but they are not spells. They are all magic though. Unless this is a big joke and I missed the bus again:smallredface:.
