Hey guys, I got a Fighter2/EWM1/TotemBarb11

and hes a "Leaper"

My DM is buffing Monsters HP and may consider removing massive damage just to make fights last longer.

What are some ways to be able to leap attack each turn?
I know i can jump from Enemy to Enemy, or Anklets or Translocation ( but they only have 2/day :( )

Is there any other items I can get that can make me move after an attack as a swift action

Tome of battle has sudden leap, which lets you leap as a swift action.

Either nab it with 1 lv in warblade or swordsage, or take martial study.

I'm afraid you'll need 6 levels of Horizon Walker for unlimited Dim Door, it won't solve your problem though because its a std action.

Activate maneuver.
Do as the description says.

Stances:

Use swift action to enter stance.
Profit.

Stances are constantly active until you dismiss or change them (a swift action).

Maneuvers are like spells; you know a certain number, and ready a certain number of those, which you can use in combat. You can change your readied maneuvers by meditating for 5 minutes.

There are three types of maneuvers:
Strikes, which you use in place of an attack.
Boosts, which add additional bonuses as a swift action.
Counters, which can be used any time (even when it's not your turn).

You 'refresh' all your maneuvers - make them available for use again - differently depending on your class. As a warblade, to refresh all your maneuvers, yo u must make a normal attack.

Wow damn.. is there a down side to that at all?
Cause Charger build + Leap attack for 3 turns.. Meditate n rinse and repeat?

My DM is buffing Monsters HP and may consider removing massive damage just to make fights last longer. Not to be contrary, but if you're slaughtering monsters so quickly that your DM is going to be making monsters more resistant to it so combat is fun and challenging, I don't think getting BETTER at charging is really the answer.

Well takes a lot of levels (8+) but you can get extra actions through factotum. I think a move action might be earlier than lvl 8 but I forget. 8+ is for a free standard action.

If you have the gp and MagicMart access, buy several anklets of translocation or quicksilver boots, and and swap a fresh one for each fight (or convince DM to let you increase the charges/day and price proportionately.)

Explosive Weapon+Boots of Sidestepping gives you a free 5' step after you hit AND gives you 2d4 extra damage on the enemy, and anyone next to them.

2 levels in Totemist allows you to bind Blink Shirt to your Totem Chakra in order to get Dim Door at-will as a move action for a distance equal to 10ft+10ft per essentia.

ahh perfect! so I am going take 1 lvl of Swordsage for good reflex and will

So what I read in the Book you still gain lvls Initiator levels. I will forever be stuck at 6 Known, 3 Maneuvers and 1 stance. But since im lvl 1 Sword sage. and 14 other classes. that makes my lvl 8. so i can do lvl 4 maneuver strikes/stances?

I know im taking Sudden Leap for sure. What stance should I get?

edit: I was thinking Child of Shadow stance : gain concealment aslong as you move. And with Sudden Leap I think it would work nicely?

ahh perfect!

so ima take 1 lvl of swordsage for good reflex and will

dipping 1 lvl so i can memorize 6 manouvers and use 3 per battle. and 1 stance

so im obs gunna take 3 sudden leaps and 3 sumthing else.

But.... what stance should a melee character use?

Well, maneuvers don't work quite like spells that way. You know 6 maneuvers and you can ready 4 different maneuvers. You cannot ready a maneuver twice (although you can use it any number of times per day by refreshing it). You can chage what maneuvers you have readied by taking 5 minutes to meditate/exercise.

If you want to focus on Sudden Leap I recommend Warblade as they can refresh their maneuvers with a swift action after an attack (including full attacks and charges). If you do this, Punishing Stance is great as it adds +1d6 damage to each attack and gives you -2AC.

I fixed my post :P
But yeah. Warblade can refresh them easier for sure

Anklets or Translocation ( but they only have 2/day :( )

You could buy multiples and switch after each battle, they have no attunement time. If you can buy them at the Magic Market, they get affordable pretty soon.

Between you killing one target every time you charge, being able to Translocate twice per encounter, and sometimes getting the chance to charge someone in rounds after the first even without tricks, I think you'd be fine...

Well, with swordsage you wouldn't be able to charge each round, you would be able to sudden leap one extra time for the entire combat unless you spend a full round to refresh. That seems counterprodutive to your original post. If your IL ends up being 5 when you take the class you can get Leaping Dragon Stance via the Martial Stance feat, Swordsage 2 or Warblade 4. It adds +10 feet to your jump and you are always considered to have had a running start.

Travel Devotion from C.Champ: move your speed as a swift action for a minute, gain more uses by burning Turn Undead attempts.

this is probably the easiest way to move away. You'll be hit by the AoO though.

Another thing you could do is get Shock Trooper/Combat Brute. Combat Brute is a very good follow up for Shock Trooper. Lets you full attack for 3x damage with Power Attack. Only downside is you can't use your AC to fuel it.
