What happened with Crystal's knife was that Haley left it when her, Elan, and V were kidnapped. I would assume that Roy and Belkar will get their equipment back, because Roy's sword is pretty important.

But Roy's sword and armor didn't get left in the tavern, they were taken from him when he went to the prison, which will lead to all sorts of interesting mayhem.
