I have a rough draft of a French project due tomorrow. Basically, I have to write a super short story in French and submit it to my teacher, who will grade it on spelling and grammar and then return it to me so I can make a physical book out of it. My French grade is generally an A by like, half a percent, and I'd rather not lose points on this assignment because I'm dealing with a lot of words I don't know. With that in mind, I was hoping the playground could help me proofread my story. It was originally written en français, but I also translated it to English with what I think it should say. Any help by native speakers or very fluent speakers is highly appreciated.
FrenchIl étais une fois, il y avait un groupe s’appelle Les Hommes Chics. Ils jouaient la musique du rock gothique. Les members étaient Simon (le bass guitariste), Guy (le batteur), et Robert (le chanteur et joueur du synthesizer).
Un jour, ils ont reçu un lettre de leur manager. La lettre a dit qu’il était allé à France pour organizer un spectacle au manoir. Le groupe a été excités et ont pris un avion à France. Quand ils sont arrives, leur manager les a conduit au manoir. Le manager a dit qu’il descendait à l’hôtel. Le groupe a descendu au manoir.
Avant le spectacle, ils ont décidé explorer le manoir. Simon et Robert ont vu la scène, mais Guy a décidé voir les chambres. Il a monté l’escalier et trouvé une porte avec une étoile. Il l’a ouverte et vu le Labyrinthe.
Le Labyrinthe a été un grand vue et Guy a été intéressé. Il a marché dans le Labyrinthe jusqu’à il est venu à un autel. Une amulette a été sur l’autel et Guy l’a ramassée. Immédiatement, l’amulette a fêlé et Guy la laissée tomber. Nerveusement, il a abandonné l’amulette et a s’enfui du Labyrinthe.
Guy a rejoindu Simon et Robert à la scène et le groupe a préparé pour le spectacle. Après deux heures leurs fans sont venus au manoir pour voir le spectacle. Le groupe a joué une chanson. Quand ils jouaient leur premier chanson, l'amulette fêlée a glissé à la scène. Elle est tombée au sol. La fumée a glissé et une ombre a apperaîtu.
Le groupe a arrâté quand un démon est venu de l'ombre. Le démon a été grand et monstreux avec trois cornes et pas d'yeax. "Qui a moi réveillé?" Il a demandé avec méchanceté. Ne personne a répondu. "Eh bien, je vais commencer avec ce groupe!"
"Attendez!" Robert a dit. "Quoi?" Le démon a dit. "Nous vous defie à la bataille de la musique!" Le démon a rit et convoqué un guitar avec son magique. Il a commencé jouer son guitar adroitement et une fumée rouge a volé au dessus de les fans.
Les Hommes Chics ont essayé combattre avec leur musique, mais ils ont été trés faible. Robert et Simon sont tombés au sol. Le démon a rit à Guy. "Je vais te finir!" Il a hurlé. "Non!" Guy a hurlé. Il a sablé ses dents et joué plus fort que le démon. Ses tambours ont couvri le guitar.
Robert et Simon ont courir à leurs instruments et commencé encore. Le démon est tombé quand la musique jouaient. Il a hurlé un cri de douleur et tranformé en fumée rouge. La fumée rouge au dessus de les fans et la fumée du démon ont aspiré dans le guitar.
Ensuite, Les Hommes Chics ont retourné à leur spectacle.

When they arrived, their manager drove them to the manor. The manager said he would stay at the hotel. The group stayed at the manor.
Before the show, they decided to explore the mansion. Simon and Robert saw the stage, but Guy decided to see the rooms. He climbed the stairs and found a door with a star. He opened it and saw the Labyrinth.
The Labyrinth was a great sight and Guy was interested. He walked into the Labyrinth until he came to an altar. An amulet was on the altar and Guy picked it up. Immediately, the amulet cracked and Guy dropped it. Nervously, he abandoned the amulet and ran away from the Labyrinth.
Guy rejoined Simon and Robert at the stage and the group prepared for the show. After two hours their fans came to the mansion to see the show. The band played a song. While they played their first song, the cracked amulet floated to the stage. It fell to the ground. Smoke flew and a shadow appeared.
The group stopped when a demon came from the shadows. The demon was great and monstrous, with three horns and no eyes. "Who woke me?" He asked with malice. No one responded. "Well, I'll start with this group!"
"Wait!" Robert said. "What?" The demon said. "We challenge you to music battle!" The demon laughed and called a guitar with his magic. He started playing his guitar skillfully and red smoke flew over the fans.
The Classy Gentlemen tried to fight with their music, but they were too weak. Robert and Simon fell to the ground. The demon laughed at Guy. "I'll finish no!" He yelled. "No!" Guy yelled. He gritted his teeth and played louder than the demon. His drums drowned out the guitar.
Robert and Simon ran to their instruments and started again. The demon fell while the music played. He yelled a scream of pain and transformed into red smoke. The red smoke over the fans and the demon smoke were sucked into the guitar.
Then, The Classy Gentlemen returned to their show.
