It's around a week and a half from the actual holiday, but it's time for the fifth Holiday feat set: Valentine's Day Feats!
Holiday Fluff
We've seen them all before: the person who eats nothing but candy and wears their costume all day on Halloween, the person who stays up all night waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve, that enthusiastic drunk guy at every New Years party. These people embody the spirit of holidays. These Scions of the Holiday believe and obsess about the holiday they are devoted to so much, that their association with that holiday causes the spirit of the holiday to infuse itself within the Scion, granting it awesome holiday-themed powers.
Rules for Holiday feats
Holiday feats, for the most part, act the same as a heritage feat-chain, excepting one thing: Once you choose a holiday to embody, you cannot choose to embody another holiday. For example, a Scion of Halloween could not choose the Scion of Christmas feat and start taking Christmas feats.
Now, time for the actual Valentine's Day feats:
Scion of Valentine's Day[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Benefit:What can you say? You love Love! And it loves you back, granting you special powers based on its holiday. You gain a +1 per Valentine's Day feat to one Cha-based skill you choose besides Intimidation, and also gain a +2 bonus on rolls to influence a person's attitude towards you.
Special: You may not take another [Holiday] feat for any other holiday after taking this feat.
Head Over Heels[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day, 3rd level
Benefit: You gain the ability to make people fall literally head over heels! Once per day per Valentine's Day feat, as a standard action, you may trip someone that is up to 5 ft away from you per Valentine's Day feat you have. This acts as a ranged attack, but uses your Charisma modifier instead of your Dex modifier for the attack roll, and deals 1 point of damage per Valentine's Day feat and 1 additional point of damage for each size larger than Medium they are.
Matchmaker's Bow[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day
Benefits:You gain an awesome bow and arrow that you can summon to help spread love around the world! As a move action, you can summon the Matchmaker's Bow. This bow fires arrows of love, needing no ammunition from you. This bow may function as a regular bow, but gains a bonus to damage rolls equal to the number of Valentine's Day feats you have. Also, once per day per Valentine's Day feat you have, you may choose to forgo the damage dealt by the bow to instead change the target's attitude towards the creature nearest to it and in its line of sight. This acts as though the nearby creature were making a roll to change the attitude of the target towards it, except that it suffers no Charisma penalties(if any), and gains a bonus to the roll equal to 1 + the number of Valentine's Day feats you have. This effect requires a Will save.
Cupid's Arrow[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day, Matchmaker's Bow, 6th level
Benefit:You gain the ability to make people fall in love with your bow, just like Cupid does! By expending two uses of the attitude-improving ability, you may make a person fall in love instead of damaging them. This effect acts just like the attitude-improving ability, except that should the person fail their Will save, they are instead affected as though the nearby creature had cast Charm Person on them and they had failed their Will save, and act as though in love, instead of like the nearby and the creature were friends. Additionally, you gain an additional amount of uses of the Matchmaker's Bow's attitude-improving ability equal to your Cha modifier.
Love Slave[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites:Scion of Valentine's Day, Matchmaker's Bow, Cupid's Arrow, 9th level
Benefits: You learn how to make someone hopelessly in love. By expending four uses of the Matchmaker's Bow's attitude-improving ability, you learn how to make someone love you so much they'll do anything for you. This effect acts as the attitude-improving abillity, except that instead of improving the target's attitude, they are treated as though the nearby creature had cast Dominate Person on them and they had failed their Will save. Also, you may now treat yourself as a nearby creature for the attitude-improving, Charm, and Dominate effects, and the Charm Person effect of Cupid's Arrow changes to Charm Monster.
Love-Struck[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day, 3rd level
Benefit: Although you pretty much love everyone you know, there are always haters out there. Once per encounter per two Valentine's Day feats you have, as a standard action, you may literally strike someone with your passionate love. This acts as a ranged attack with a range of 10 ft + 5 ft per Valentine's Day feat you have, and deals 1d8 fire damage per Valentine's Day feat you have.
Together Forever[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day, 6th level
Benefits: You learn how to make people stay together....FOREVER! Well, not forever, but close enough. Once per day per Valentine's Day feat you have, you may make people stay together forever as a standard action. You may choose any two individuals within 15 ft + 5 ft per Valentine's Day feet. For the duration of this effect, they cannot be more than 5 ft away from each other at any time. If used during combat, this lasts 2 rounds per Valentine's Day feat you have. If used outside combat, this lasts 1 hour per Valentine's Day feat you have, and ends in 2 rounds should the two individuals enter combat before the duration is done.
Major Scion of Valentine's Day[Holiday, Valentine's Day]
Prerequisites: Scion of Valentine's Day, any three other Valentine's Day feats, 12th level
Benefit: You become love incarnate. This grants you multiple benefits. Firstly, your love-powers manifest on the outside, granting you an Aura of Love, that improves the attitude of anyone in the aura by two steps. Should this increase the person's attitude beyond Helpful, this causes the person to act as though Charmed for a number of hours equal to the number of Valentine's Day feats you have. One cannot be affected by the Charm effect more than once per two days, and the person affected retains their memories of this time, which may influence their attitudes in the future. This effect may be turned off and on as a swift action, and has a radius of 5 ft per two Valentine's Day feats. Secondly, you gain a +2 bonus to all Charisma and all Charisma-based checks, except Intimidate. Lastly, once per day per two Valentine's Day feats, you may summon Hunka-Hunka, the Burning Love, an avatar of the love that Valentine's Day represents. Hunka-Hunka is treated as a Large Fire Elemental in all respects except that any enemy within 5 ft per three Valentine's Day feats you have is treated as though hit by the fire damage of the Fire Elemental's attack, and may make use of the Love-Struck feat 1/encounter as though it possessed half the number of Valentine's Day feats you do.
