so, I was looking through my closet, and lo and behold, I found my old Dungeons and Dragons adventure game.

It was the thing that was brought out first in 3rd edition, and had a bunch of pre-gen characters and a set of adventures which went up until you reached level 3. (at which point you had to get the PHB, it said.)

It's actually really neat! It looks like fun in its own right. It's what I got first, and it was how I familiarized myself with the rules before getting the core rulebooks.

Did anybody else get it? Did you guys use it? How'd it go? I'm actually itching to use it again. The sheer simplicity of it is so... inviting.

The one that game with figures and dungeon tiles? And the 4 adventurers were the elf wizard, halfling rouge, human fighter and dwarf cleric? And their was a young black dragon at the end of the adventure.

Crovenus: No... not that one. The one I'm talking about came out in 2000, at the beginning of 3.0.
