I was just wondering, is there a 3.5 equivalent to Song and Silence or anything similar?

This is true. It also means you have a pretty good chance of opening any book and finding *something* nice for a bard to have.

Yea, bits and pieces scattered all about.

Frostburn has Snowflake Wardance
CAdv has Virtuoso and Lyric Spell
CMage has Lyric Thamateurge and Melodic Casting
CArc has Sublime Chord
SpC has Inspirational Boost and a bunch of other spells
Dragon Magic has Dragonfire Inspiration
Eberron Campaign Setting has Songs of the Heart
Races of Destiny has the half-elf Bard sub levels, the ONLY reason to play a half-elf. Also Scholar's Touch.
Tome of Battle has Song of the White Raven
MIC has the Badge of Valor and the Harmonizing Chrystal Echoblade
DMGII has the Sudden Stunning enhancement, the best enchantment for any Cha based weapon user

I mean, the list is HUGE. Even if you are only using half of it, you are still drawing from a half dozen sources.

Does this forum have any guide? :)This forum, not that I know of. BG has a handbook (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=8284.0), naturally.

Here's (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19869994/Bard_Inspire_Courage_Optimization) also little something for the songs.
