Elisium The Thirteenth of Ascending Wood

The weather god's have given their blessing to this most auspicious day. The citizens of Elisium enjoy a pleasant sunny day with a cooling sea breeze as they celebrate the first anniversary of the coronation of their beloved King and Queen.

Hordes of loyal patriots are thronged outside the palace enjoying all manner of festivities. Inside the palace celebrations are taking place as well. A grand soiree planned by the Queen Radiant’s personal assistant. Attending this grand party are such distinguished individuals as: Whispers of the Catacombs; emissary of the Silver Prince, Haran; son of the Ocean Father and chief adviser of the Sea Lord, and finally Kronus; Emperor of the Emerald Islands. There are also several less important foreign dignitaries in attendance.

It's short I know but it was the best starting post I could come up with. SO you are all at the party what do you do.

Kala kept to the edge of the party, nursing an appetizer and looking out over the gathered dignitaries. Unusually for her, she was formally dressed, albeit somewhat austerely so as not to upstage the more powerful guests. More importantly, despite its appearance the dark olive dress allowed her a full range of motion, a feature she had carefully created while sewing it the night before. Cobb, wearing a similarly well-tailored black and gold outfit, as always, remained by Kala's side.

This would be a banner day for her more socially inclined allies, but for her it meant a wasted day away from her workshop. There was nothing for it, though. She was master of Elisium's shipyards, and thus had to be there lest her absence insult the guests or the royal couple. Thus far her physical appearance, and air of slight irritation had kept people from spending much time talking to her, so she passed the time by pointing out and explaining the various architectural features of the palace to Cobb, and how best to improve or preserve them.

Sun clung to the arm of her Mate, trying to do her best 'piece of strumpet out of her depth" act. It was one she'd had plenty of time to practice.

But she watched, and she listened, and she made mental notes of everything. Maybe she'd break off to flirt with someone who had higher ranking than the Lunar whose arm she held around her waist.

He'd understand, of course, that it wasn't for pleasure and that it'd get no farther than suggestive phrases.

Silent spent most of is time close to his wife, Radiant, who looked gorgeous as always. Every no and then he would let his gaze settle on her and tune the rest of the world out, to a dull murmur, a faint echo that couldn't pierce the intoxicating experience of being with her. It took a moment for him to force himself out of his reverie, bond, or no bond, he had fallen for the solar hard. He was lucky to have her, but for all the revelry around them, this was business. The fates of nations could rest on what words you choose, what joke you told, and how you greeted someone. He had to focus himself.

He was somewhat surprised to see that the Silver Prince had actually chosen to send someone, he was wary of the creature personally, but as the saying went, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and they needed friends. Still, he had showed a particular audacity in sending a deathknight, and Silent wasn't sure he liked just what that gesture suggested. It was as much a threat as a honor.

He made a point to welcome the other two powers as well, it seemed ironic, seeing the forces of Yu-shan, oblivion, and Malfeas in one room together, without anyone trying to murder the other.

It probably wouldn't last long.

Vasi Re was not entirely comfortable being without a false identity, a false fate to disguise herself in, but she understood the neccesity. No doubt the representatives that held true power, those empowered by Exaltation, would have some capacity to pierce the disguise, and be made suspicious by it. More signifigantly, the energy she would have invested could instead be put toward the tool in her own arsenal toward that effect.

The Meticulous Weaver closed her eyes, causing her world to go black for a brief instant. Then, intersecting wisps of white danced before her eyes, and she opened them to a world of plainly visible essence flow. It'd be good to see who the power players were, especially when compared to one another. Assuming none of them came to her first, of course.

Radiant was in her element. It was events like this that she lived for. True, she wasn't too pleased with the fact that the Silver Prince had sent a representative, but she did her best to deal with it. It wouldn't do for her to slight anyone. So she took it upon herself to talk with everyone at the party, getting to know them better, and working on strengthening ties. And all the while she was grateful for her husband's near constant presence. He helped keep her calm, when she otherwise would be out of her mind with worry about the potential for war breaking out because of a misstep.

Finishing her conversation with some minor nobility of a nearby island, she placed a hand on Silent's arm and whispered in his ear. "Remind me to do something extra special for you tonight."

Silent kissed her gently, "You're doing fine love." He said gently, as if reading her mind, picking up her insecurity easily after their time together. "All eyes have been on you the entire night. You have them mesmerized, hanging on your every word." When it came to dealing with people like this, he had never met someone as capable and skilled as Radiant. He had his own skills of course, they all did, but this was her arena, sometimes, she just needed a little push.

"Thank you for the confidence, dear." Radiant said with a soft smile as she gently caressed Silent's cheek. He was right, she was being unreasonably worried. If war broke out it wouldn't be due to a single misstep or wounded pride. The mortal nations would be wary of going to war with an Exalt's nation, and the others had little to gain from open warfare as of yet.

Teeth

Teeth spent the party looking like the military man, out of his depth. It wasn't hard. Teeth could descend to the sea floor, if the mood took him. But this kind of affair still didn't come naturally to him. He could deal with people, but in this closeted, formal atmosphere?

He noticed Sun's forays, understanding her purpose. They'd been together for long enough that he knew what she was up to. Teeth, for his part, smiled at those who passed, and did his best not to cause a scene.

She did occasionally wish he made more of a fuss. She was supposed to be his little bit of fluff, after all. And yet he made no token effort to stop her fake flirtations. Sun eventually made her way back to her mate's side. No decent targets had shown themselves yet, so she might as well keep him happy.

From that place, she shot furtive glances at the other attendees, looking for any non-obvious signs of potential trouble. The emissary from Skullstone was an obvious one, but who knew what else was there.

As is the custom of the Emerald Islands Kronus is carrying a ceremonial sword; however it is entirely ornamental and looks like it would snap in half if he tried to use it in actual combat. Whispers’ knuckles are well callused suggesting he is acquainted with the art of fisticuffs. Nothing else catches your notice.

Kala

As you are explaining some piece of architectural minutia to Cobb you are interrupted. “A very interesting view; however I believe you will find a set of thirteen support pillars allows Essence to flow more smoothly while maintaining the same level of structural integrity.” As you look to see who interrupted your lesson you are surprised to find it is the Emperor Kronus. Even more surprising: he’s right.

Radiant and Silent

Whispers approaches the two of you, inclining his head in a show of respect or possibly a calculated insult. “Quite a fine party you have thrown. You even have an Emperor as a guest; very posh.”

Silent gave him a warm smile not unlike the one given to a fish by a hunting shark as he looked down at the Deathknight, offering a comfort to a fear that the emissary hadn't spoken and likely hadn't existed. Games within games. "We only hope our nation can offer greater peace and prosperity to the west as a whole, as do we all." He added, tapping his cane lightly against the ground as he spoke.

Malfean and Earth... A typical endurance loadout, most likely. Whispers and Haran were harder guesses, but given the setting were most likely social supplements. With a calculated stride that used her walking stick, the woman made her way toward Sun and Teeth. Neither of them were presently engaged, and they were the most appropriate individuals to inform as to her findings.

Sun's role required discretion, so she made a point of addressing her words quietly to Teeth, but not so quiet that Sun would strain to overhear. As she had previously discussed with the couple, she would refer to her Essence sight as "her sources." Naturally, she made a quick glance to note the positions of the persons of interest before addressing the pair. "My sources have seen artifacts of moderate power amidst the parties of interest, but none are weapons. Two of the representatives have what are suspected to be social stones, but the Emperor has defensive combat stones to make the Scarlet Empress jealous. They also took note of how the Silver Prince's representative was leaning on a similar set of sources. I intend to initiate the Water-aspected remainder in business talks to facilitate your observations."

Going to spend a single personal mote on the First Cecelyne Excellency to aid the Perception + Awareness roll to make sure none of the subjects of conversation were in a position to eavesdrop, on the basis of how it's to allow her to provide Sun and Teeth with information in a manner that was previously planned, and she is being careful while doing so.

Sun did her best not to react to Vasi's information. She was only arm-candy, after all. But she needed to react to this latest development.

She pointed at the fallen man and screamed, clinging on to Teeth's arm as though for dear life, before burying her head into his shoulder. Muffled by his clothes, she whispered to her mate and her co-worker:

"Teeth, I want you to make sure nobody leaves the island. Whether it sails or flies, it dies if it tries. Vasi, I think you can make your own decisions. I'll be getting out of this disguise as soon as I can, then proceeding from there."

He half expected the assassin to already be gone honestly, but it was important to look like you where doing something even if you know what you where doing was futile. Silents voice was calm as he stepped down, glancing over the various faces inquisitively. He didn't have the energy to interview every single person himself, even if they did close off the palace, and before long tempers would be roused, people would make threats if they weren't released in a timely fashion, which meant speed was of the essence.

He wished he could speak with Sun, privately, if only for a few minutes. He would have to trust her to run things from behind the stage while he kept everyones eyes on him, which was how she liked it anyway.

Davian looks up at Silent and says. "I hope you will excuse me for being flip your majesty; but seeing as how there is red wine on the floor and dribbling out of his mouth I'm going to say he was drinking the red wine."

Grabbing a couple of servants Davian says. "Take the body down to my workshop, and when you are done go and get Morgan; I'll need his help." Then throwing a satchel that had been hooked onto his belt on the table he says to the room at large. "Anyone who drank the red wine take a swig out of the bottle marked antivenin. Haran, son of the Ocean Father... The string of his life had been plucked, and the web of intrigue rippled from him to his father, to his nation, throughout the West and back to her newfound home. She could reference her dossiers to speculate on a motive later. Right now she needed to keep an eye on the parties of interest.

Radiant seems to have dealt with Whispers well enough, letting him depart. He had pursued to speak with them before... Perhaps pressuring into aiding the investigation? Whispers would remain for now, in any event. That left Kronus... He couldn't have gotten too far from Kala, not discretely.

Even if he wasn't responsible for the assassinations, any loyalist to the Reclamation was a threat to her goals. If Kronus was the guilty party and aware of her loyalties, he may have made arrangements to frame her. "You seem calm. Have you already had antivenin, or did you abstain from the wine as well?"

Underneath his political veneer though, he carefully poke it other questions, ideally without them even realizing they where telling him what he wanted to know. If she was going to be framed, evidence implicating her would be planted there, and it would happen soon if it hadn't already happened. She would have to secure it, and protect it against intrusion long enough for the grounds to be secured.

As she goes to claim her dossier, Vasi Re glances over her shoulder at the young guard. It seemed odd to her that such a youth would qualify for the role. Silent shifted over to Radiant and Kala , smiling slightly as always, offering not the slightest hint to the turmoil around him as people whispered and panicked. He remained serene, calm. "Well then my Lovely ladies, find anything interesting?" He said lightly, his body shifting as he pulled out a pen and a napkin, keeping eye contact with then as he scribbled out a short note, out of sight from the rest of the guests.

Circumstantial evidence points to Kronus, he has a motive for the murder, Taran was suspected in the death of the Emerald Princess a while back. We have to detain him.

Whispers saunters over to the three of you and says jauntily. "Ooh, a note party. How fun." Then grabbing a piece of parchment and a pen from an interior jacket pocket he writes a note in a flowing elegant hand.

Note
I've looked into recent poison purchases, both from the Guild and even more unsavory vendors. If you've identified the poison I can probably tell you who sold it and when.

As for our friend Haran. He is a rather sick bugger; and that's coming from me. Back in his pirate days he did some rather nasty things. The only one I was able to find out about that's related to anyone here is his encounter with the Emerald Princess. He kidnapped her; raped and tortured her for months on end. Then when he was tired of that he tied her to the bow of his ship to use her red hair to avoid Storm Mothers. She died after three days; Haran kept her corpse tied to his ship until it started to decompose at which point he just cut her bindings and let her corpse fall into the ocean.

After acquiring a paper large enough to cover the letter while folded in half, Vasi Re set it on the desk adjacent to the letter. Then, using the snout of her cane's dragon head, she slowly slid the paper under the letter. Assuming no trap was triggered, she would then use the cane's head to fold the paper over, creating an improvised satchel to carry the document. She then went about collecting the dossier on the Emerald Isles before reclaiming the document pertaining to the Coral Archipelago. "You will carry the letter. Whether the letter is malign or not, the fact that it was planted demonstrates that the Emerald Isles have deliberately breached our security."

Kala approaches the spot where Haran had died - there was still a slight stain on the floor where the poisoned wine had touched the ground. Grabbing a knife off a nearby table, she draws a slit across her own finger and begins drawing arcane symbols in blood on the floor. She keeps a running commentary going, mostly for Cobb's benefit. "You can use anyone's blood for this part, but there's little enough required that there's no need for donors...this symbol is called The Invitation, it's critical in most summonings, not just ghosts..."

The Twilight lights a few candles meant for later that evening and pulls a few leaves off of some decorative plants. "...most occultists would burn incense, but by burning parts of living plants, it should forge a more powerful necromantic bond."

She opens the sack of salt and sprinkles a simple circle around where Haran died, and a second one further out. "Salt is a useful precaution against hungry ghosts, as they can't cross this line. Kala winces. "For future reference, lay down the salt before you get the blood. And with that, we're ready to begin."

Kala begins muttering, her voice low and gutteral. It is less a chant and more a performance; as the ritual goes on, she repeatedly gestures to the bloody symbols, entreating the higher soul of Haran to enter her presence. The lights in the palace almost seem to dim as the ceremony seems to reach a sort of climax. A strange pressure builds and builds, until it permeates the very air. Just when it seems like the very fabric of the world will tear itself apart, Kala points at the central circle, and utters a single syllable in a voice unlike her own. "Rise."

"Alright then." Radiant said, approaching the ghost and standing directly in front of it. This was her element, and her time to shine. After looking the figure up and down, she stared directly into his eyes.

"Haran Arria, Right Hand of the Sea, Son of the Ocean Father, Lord of the Shifting Forest, and Captain of The Mist. As you are most likely aware, you are dead, and that leaves us quite a dilemma. You see, since you died in our court during our function, that leaves us partially responsible. And we simply cannot have that." She paused to draw breath and began to walk in a slow circle around the ghost, looking him over once more. She decided that it was important to let nothing stand secret in this conversation. There was a good chance that Haran would be less suspicious if he knew their exact reasons for seeking his killer, and none of the information was exactly secret anyway. "So, you see, we cannot let your killer escape without punishment. Very harsh punishment. But we do not know who he is, or where he came from. We have suspicions, but nothing concrete. So tell me, dear Haran, do you know who killed you?"

"Am I the only one here who knows what interrogation is?" Vasi Re positioned herself before the mortal's exposed injury, tapping her cane on the ground again to send the wisping tendrils out into it. Much like everyone else in the room, the Fiend knew next to nothing about treating injuries. However, she knew the concept of processes, and how to injure people, so that would do in a pinch.

"You wished for my words to be true, which suggests you wish to live." The white wisps pulsed silver for a brief second as they wove into the broken flesh, gently pulling it together while applying pressure in key areas. She knew the process by which a knife stab wounded the body, and she knew the process of making such injuries worse. Stabilizing the man, in theory, was a simple matter of reversing the former process while avoiding the latter. "Your life will continue... But it will belong to me."

Vasi Re has three dots in Perception. Spend 1m to get an automatic success from the Cecelyne Excellency, then spend a point of willpower to get a second success, and she has enough to beat the difficulty 2 to stabilize him. 2011-03-01, 12:31 PM
"...Interesting." Vasi Re's eyes narrowed slightly. The name of the agata was an obscure thing, even among her former peers. The boy's body clearly didn't match that of Kronus, but was he truly so ignorant? She would need to stall long enough for the Infernals to congress. "Kronus knows the weight of the name. You do not get to ask questions. You don't get to ask for anything. The best you can hope for is that we inflict a quick death where your master would bring a slow one, as you're too much a coward to hope for an Exaltation. Do you understand your situation?"

"I would like to point out I'm nine years old, well chronologically I'm only about 48 hours old. Regardless, cowardice is perfectly natural at my stage of life. Also there is historical precedence for cowardly Exalted. The very fact that I'm a coward proves that. As for my situation, yes I think I understand it. Now who's Bellitudo and what does Kronus have to do with anything?"

The cane tapped, and wisps cupped the clone's chin and the back of his head to hold him steady. A single finger extended forward, the lengthy spike-like nail coming just short of his eye. One second, two seconds... And the nail slid between eyeball and eyelid before tugging outward. Not enough to break the flesh, but enough to be painful. "You do not get to ask questions. That you are responsible for the murder is already apparent. What is the motive?"

Green Bean

Kala strides up to Vasi and knocks her cane aside - not enough to disarm her, but enough to jar it. "Vasi, that's enough!"

Ganurath
2011-03-01, 05:17 PM
It actually was enough to knock it aside, as Vasi had not actually been putting weight on it. The wisps that had been coming from her hand grow new tendrils to reclaim the decorative device. Perhaps luckily for the assassin, the nail under his eyelid isn't jarred enough to break flesh. "This is a construct, one that can be terminated by the creator with a thought. The termination process is slow, extremely painful, and unstoppable short of Exaltation. Positive and negative reinforcement need to be adjusted according."

Vasi then turned her attention back to the boy. "Motive, before Kala's next intervention brings a tremble to my finger."

The boy grimaces as he says. "I fail to see how it's readily apparent. I bumped into a guy, last time I checked it's not lethal. Even if I did kill the man as you claim, I could hardly be considered the murderer. I would simply be the murder weapon. As for motive, who's do you want to know?"

"That's enough, Vasi. This isn't getting anywhere." Radiant said as she diverted her gaze from what Vasi was doing to the poor child, even as she tightened her grip on the 'guard'. Vasi withdraws her nail. And the boy had seen fit to ask another question, as well. "By your order, my queen. I'll come up with another way to reinforce that he is not to ask questions."

Vasi then looks the boy in the eye, inspiration quickly reaching her. If she couldn't provide negative reinforcement, deprive him of the positive. "Anytime that you respond to my questions with anything other than an answer that at least tries to be helpful is another ten seconds you're left to squirm when you're snuffed by your creator. That last question has bought you ten seconds without mercy so far."

The Fiend suddenly put on a cheerful smile, as though nothing could be better in the world. "Let's start with the basics, since you're in the mood to be glib. Do you know who killed the gentleman who's ghost can be seen floating behind me? If so, who did it?"

I figure hanging the promise of mercy and threatening to take it works for owning someone using their desires, and she continues to punish him for disobeying the Infernal's law. Vasi Re maintained her smile, but her brow furrowed just slightly and her voice took on a harsher tone. The situation was unpleasant, but it wasn't impossible to salvage. The odds would be improved by the others in the room acting on that information. Her place was here, playing the politics game. "So he'll have made the lives of two Infernals far more difficult than neccesary. Now for my question: What does your master feel his odds are of surviving next Calibration?"

Going to try to resist a challenge to plans by persuading the young Infernal to come to her, or at least allow her to amass information resources enough to identify him so he can be punished. Sun, meanwhile, was moving fast. She rounded up members of the city guard, browbeating any who lay under her apparent rank (pretty much all of them), and putting them to work searching the island for anything that could be called a hideout. She joined the search once she'd gotten well over half the force mortals on the case.

She thought back to her days running the streets of the Lap. The little places she knew that let her be alone. Recalling the instinct of the sneak-thief little girl, Sun looked for places that the younger her would have loved. Attics, alcoves, even the caves dotted around the coast of the island. Anywhere that seemed like a good place to hide, she looked.

Over the course of several hours you uncover several drug dens, a handful of illegal brothels, a couple smuggling rings, and a pair of very frisky adolescent males.

Finally after hours of searching and several dozen arrests you find what you are looking for. A cave on the southwestern shore of the island, inside is initially just a dank musty cave. However deeper in are furnishings. Desks, chairs, tables. All marked with a strange symbol of intersecting lines. At first there don't appear to be any people. Kala bowed, a perfunctory gesture of respect. "The Emerald Emperor seems to have given us the slip. I don't suppose you could help us track him down?"

Karitas concentrates for but a moment before saying. "The Emperor Kronus no longer resides within the purview of my domain."

"So either he's already left the island, or he's here, just out of your sight."

Does Kala know what sort of places, if any, would be both nearby and outside Karitas' purview? Not necessarily specific locations, but general classes of effects that'd put Kronus outside of Elisium? Just in case you need one, here's a roll;

Intelligence + Occult: [roll0]

"I believe you misunderstand. I am the god of the Nation. All territory that is a part of it is within my domain not just the one island. The Emperor is long gone. Unless, as you say, he is hiding."

Raksha Freeholds.

Or it could be Kronus made it out of the country already. Maybe it has something to do with the bloody door.

"I didn't mean any offense. Can you find anyone else from his delegation? Servants, advisors, that sort of thing?"

"Gonna, need to give me a little to go on here. I can expand my senses to encompass my entire domain, but that doesn't do me any good if I don't know what I'm looking for."

"Right, hrm..." Kala had an excellent memory, but she hadn't felt the need to look at the party's guest list. Still, she did know of someone who would have paid extra close attention to whoever the Emerald Islands had sent to Elisium. "Perhaps you could come with me to see Vasi for a moment? I'm sure she'll be able to furnish you with names and descriptions."

The goddess sighs. "No."

Kala gives Karitas a nonplussed look. "No?"

The tiny goddess smiles. "Kidding. Let's go." With that Karitas skips to the door.

As you make your way to Vasi something sparks in the recesses of your memory. A rumor of how the demonic artisans of Malfeas could create devices to allow transport into the Demon City via any door marked with the name of a Yozi. Just as this recollection happens you arrive.

In case it's not clear from the above, I've changed my mind on the difficulty of your earlier Int + Occult roll to learn anything about the symbol.

"May I borrow you for a moment, Vasi?" Kala pulls Vasi off to the side, ideally out of earshot of Whisper. "Kronus has run off - I'm guessing he used a demon key to escape directly to Malfeas. Taking his whole entourage with him would've been really obvious, so if you can give Karitas names and descriptions of anyone with him, she may be able to find some still in Elisium."

Vasi nods, then turns toward Karitas. She smiles politely, then taps her cane on the ground once, sending forth a bloom of black essence that rapidly closes up around her. The ebon lotus disperses a second later like a silently popping balloon, leaving... What looks like a nine year old guardsman. The Exalts in the room would recognize the visage of Haran's assassin. Whispers (and anyone else who could look) would even see that Vasi's Essence now resonated with Adorjan, if he bothered to look.

As for her fate, she decided to indulge in her sense of humor. This form's fate would be to escape capture by dumb luck, only to be captured and brutally killed on his next visit to Elisium. Vasi even spoke with the voice of the assassin. "This is the form of the duplicate body made by the assassin. It was true to his appearance, as well as his personality. As such, he is a coward. I am guessing on the Essence resonance based on the Yozi from which the duplicate-forming Charm comes from, as well as the assassin's talent in sleight of hand that allowed him to poison Haran."

Karitas concentrates for a moment before saying. "The boy is not within Elisium. Though there are a couple depictions of him in what appear to be rather vile shrines scattered throughout the islands. Any others?"

"All mortals, to the best of my knowledge. I was too preoccupied memorizing faces to think to check auras, unfortunately." Vasi taps the tip of her cane (now a sword in appearance) against the floor, and forming rough frames of various faces with the white wisps that come forth. She accopanies each three-dimensional image with a two-dimension front view and profile, but she can only maintain focus on one or two of such presentations at a time. "We should inform our security forces about this cult, see if it can be converted."

The goddess takes a moment before saying. "They are here, in the palace, all of them. They appear to be on edge but no more so than anyone else. It is unlikely they know their sovereign has fled."

Vasi nods, the visage of the youth peeling off her true identity in petals of shadow and fading into nothing as they fall away. "And as one matter of importance eludes us, two more arise. Your majesties, how would you like to go about addressing the various matters at hand?"

"We need clues, and that cult likely has them. Capture a few, purge the rest, but we'll need to do it quietly. The last thing we want on our hands is a bunch or martyrs. We'll have to really on... Teeth for that. We need to broker a diplomatic contact with Kronus, and Sea Father, I doubt it will accomplish much but it we need to make some effort to avoid open war now. Maybe he can explain. Somehow." His tone made it clear he didn't find it very likely.

Alsolying diplomacy would give them time to muster their forces. If the Emerald Isles had planned this, they would already be primed and ready, Teeth was a good Admiral, but you can't be at full readiness all the time. "Its doubtful Kronus's lackeys know anything but we can talk to them too. Its best to be through and if we dont have him the its the most we can do." Silent rubbed his temples idly, this day was turning out rather poorly, but it could be worse. It could of been Radiant, or his own body on the floor.

"In the meantime, Karitas, can keep your eyes on the waters, or are you limited to the Islands? Warn us if Emerald Ilse punctuates this with an actual assault ,or a enraged Sea father starts tearing through the Islands. I'll interrogate the prisoners while Radiant handles Harans entourage. Kala, we still need to get Teeth and his friend back here. I need Vasi to "see to" Whispers, so thats going to fall to you."

"To be specific, Whispers requested a meeting with us before this whole mess started. If you could see what he wants, that would be lovely." Radiant said, deciding that it was best to clarify what her husband had wanted. At least, what she thinks he wanted.

"Gladly." If it was a matter that she was tasked with handling, it was a matter that involved delegation. She turned her eye upon Whispers, eyebrow raising just slightly. "Assuming the business of Skullstone can't settle for a direct representative of Elisium's royalty, that is."
