The pathfinder version of sorcerer is much of an improvement over the one 3.5. Would it be balanced to allow the pathfinder version of sorcerer into a 3.5 game?
Maybe bring it a little closer to 3.5 by giving it a d4 hit die instead of the d6.

Yes, reduce the HPs and restore no quicken metamagic and no infinite cantrip: it would be fine. Sorcerer always felt weaker than Wizards and bloodline don't improve too much by themselves I think.

Whether it's balanced or not depends on the party. Even a standard sorcerer would be unbalanced in a party of T4 and T5s, never mind the much stronger Pathfinder version which is just shy of T1.

If you want to balance with other casters, yes. If you want to balance with mundanes, no. PF is a straight power boost for Sorcerers.

Fixed that for you.

Take a look at the rest of the Pathfinder classes, every single one is an improvement over the 3.5 classes. There are also more ACFs, Racial Feature Subsititutions, and Favored Class Bonuses then you could shake a wand of cure light at. Why not just make the full conversion and give every player a chance to play something that is new (to them) and interesting? Pathfinder Sorcerer is better by far, but the same goes for everything between Bard to Wizard.

Agreed. Pathfinder improved all the classes, even druid despite/because of the change to wildshaping. It is compatible with 3E with minute adjustments needed, such as Divine Feats using Channeling instead of Turning. What issues does your DM (re OP) have with it?

Not to mention that it also has an SRD, with even more detail than the WotC one (including, e.g.: spell area and positioning diagrams, feat acquisition intervals and WBL tables.)

Oh, and its psionics rocks
