I heard there is a payment option in which you could use real world currency to pay for a month of game time. When I check the payment options on the Eve websites, it does not mention this. Has this been removed?

You can buy a pilot license from the in game market from other players that increases your time by 30 days.

Did you mean real world currency or ingame currency?

If you mean real money, then you can buy a Game Time Card from any one of their recommended retailers (https://secure.eveonline.com/etc.aspx), or go for a monthly/6 monthly/yearly subscription in your account management page (https://secure.eveonline.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fAccountManMenu.aspx) on the website.

You can apply a GTC directly to your account (giving you 60 days) or convert it into two Pilot's License Extensions (PLEX), an ingame item which give 30 days to your account when applied.

PLEXs can be bought or sold on the ingame market, so you can convert ingame currency to game time that way as well.

Be careful about falling into the trap of playing to pay for your next GTC.

When EVE becomes like a second job, it's a good sign that you're on the way to burnout.
