We have just had a new thermostat put in the immersion heater and now we can only get 1/4 of a bath full of slightly warm water! Before we could fill it up with piping hot...help ...whats happened? :smalleek: Any suggestions please - many thanks

Turn the heater settings up?

Hmm, plumbing question ... did you maybe get hit by a flying turtle? You'll probably need to find another fire flower to get the heat back up.

Well, let's see here. The thermostat was changed, and now you're not getting any hot water. You don't think those two facts are maybe connected somehow? Either you were getting loads of hot water with the old thermostat because it wasn't working properly and the water was getting too hot, or you're getting too little with the new one because it was faulty from the factory (or fitted incorrectly). I suggest you call the person who fitted it and get him to check out the problem!

Your new thermometer reads cold water as hot. Either it or your new one is broke/faulty.

Check and see if the setting has a vacation mode. I moved into an apartment once where I had issues getting hot water for more than 5 minutes until about 2 months in or so, and found out what the setting on the hot water heater was.

I doubt that philosophy is the best. :smallcool: (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110223174512AANPf2Z)

What are you talking about? It's obviously the correct solution to any problem.
