How would spells like call lightning or thunderhead interact with the born of three thunders feat? The text says, "The spell concludes with a mighty thunderclap that stuns all creatures that take damage for 1 round"

Does the stunning only take place at the end of the spell or each time the lightning strikes? If the latter, would all creatures who took damage during the call lightning spell be suddenly forced to save against being stunned even though they may have taken damage 4 or 5 rounds ago? Is the caster dazed every time lightning strikes, just at the beginning of the spell, or just at the end of it?

It would be useful to have a 1st level spell (thunderhead) that forced a save for stunning & being knocked prone each round.

It's really a DM's call in my opinion. Personally, I'd rule that the last creature damaged when the spell ends should be the one to be stunned, and the caster is dazed the round after he casts the spell.

With that said, if a DM rules that every creature hurt is stunned on the round that it is hurt, then the metamagic would be worth the cost, even without daze immunity.

Hell, you could even celerity --> 'born of three thunders freezing fog' (or whatever other spell), and suffer two dazes for the price of one.
